6 Bible Verses on Cancer

6 verses

In times of suffering and illness, the Bible offers comfort and hope. Jeremiah 30:17 and Psalms 107:20 remind us that God is our healer, and His power can restore us even in the midst of affliction. Isaiah 41:10 and Jeremiah 29:11 assure us that God has a plan to prosper us, not to harm us, and that He will be with us in our struggles. As 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 encourages, we can trust that our inner being is being renewed daily, and that our struggles are temporary, while God's eternal promises give us strength to persevere.

But I will restore your health and heal your wounds, declares the LORD, because they call you an outcast, Zion, for whom no one cares.”
He sent forth His word and healed them; He rescued them from the Pit.
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, yet our inner self is being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary affliction is producing for us an eternal glory that is far beyond comparison. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Surely He took on our infirmities and carried our sorrows; yet we considered Him stricken by God, struck down and afflicted.
