14 Bible Verses on Brothers

14 verses

The bond between brothers is a significant theme in Scripture, with Proverbs 17:17 highlighting the enduring nature of fraternal love. In Psalms 133:1, the unity of brothers is described as a blessing from God, while the New Testament writings of John emphasize the importance of loving one's brothers in Christ, noting that hatred towards a brother is incompatible with true faith, as seen in 1 John 3:15 and 4:20. The book of Hebrews also exhorts believers to continue in brotherly love, demonstrating the value placed on this relationship in the Christian community, as encouraged in Hebrews 13:1.

And if he refuses to listen even to the church, regard him as you would a pagan or a tax collector. Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven.
