The Secret Place & the Heart of the Father

We thank our Lord always, my beloved. There is one God who art in heaven. This God is the only one who has created the entire human race, created everything that is visible and invisible, created both worlds, the spiritual and the physical, the tangible and the non-tangible.

His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He reigns forever, He rules forever, and He is the only way, the only truth and the only life. There is no one but Him.

I pray the whole world find Jesus Christ of Nazareth because there is no other one but Him. If there is anyone out there searching for the true living God, it is Jesus. Don't try very hard to hear it from this good old bishop.

It is Jesus. This I live for, this I die for. This is why I'm here.

Now, to say to every single human being, every color, every race, every background, Jesus is the reason for the season. There is no other one but Him. I ask the Lord Jesus through His infinite wisdom, through His infinite knowledge to change the hearts of those who are seeking evil in the world.

And since He is God who knows every heart, I ask the Lord through Your infinite knowledge, knowing if that heart will never change, then Lord, plug it from its roots. We're sick and tired of this evil, sick world. People trying hard to harm, trying hard to cause damage, trying hard to bring evil agendas into the world.

May the Lord Jesus decimate every evil in this world. May He be always the triumphant one, for He is. I pray for peace in the Middle East.

I pray for peace in every heart, in every home, in every family, in every single human being. I truly, from the bottom of my heart, I'm begging the Lord. I'm talking to the Lord, not anyone else.

I'm seeking the Lord to make a change and a very swift one, Lord, because our trust is in You, Lord, not in any other human being. No matter who they are and what they are, at the end, all of us, as humans, are nothing but a minute piece of dust, absolute, hopeless, useless. It is the Lord who appoints leaders.

It is the Lord who plugs those leaders. It is the Lord who rules, reigns, and governs over every country, over every nation, over every human being on the face of this earth, whether they accept Him or not. He is God in charge, always, always.

May the Lord decimate Satan and all of his foul spirits. And every evil person that is deliberately seeking to do evil, may the Lord rebuke them all, one by one, this very moment. In Jesus' mighty and only name I pray, amen.

So today I thought we give you a little glimpse of what Psalm 91 is about. So today's topic is Psalm 91, and for the next hour, we will be addressing just verse 1. There's a lot of verses, so if you've got time, I don't have a problem, you know? We can spend the next year just talking about Psalm 91. All right, so I thought just to make it sort of quicker, I'll address just verse 1. So today it is Psalm 91 and verse 1. And it reads, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty, and all glory be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, forever and ever, amen.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. My beloved, Psalm 91, if we were to give it a title, the title would be the Father's Bosom. That is the title of Psalm 91, the Father's Bosom.

And the Father's Bosom, if you want to give it another name, the Father's Heart. The Father's Heart. That's what Psalm 91 is all about, trying to tell us about the Father's Bosom or the Father's Heart.

The Father's Bosom is the introduction through which we enter. So it begins with the Father's Bosom in verse 1. So it is an introduction where we enter through Psalm 91 into the Father's Bosom. This title, the Father's Bosom, was given by the Church Fathers.

This bosom contains the image of the King. And who is the King? Christ. So this bosom contains the image of the King.

This is Psalm 91. This psalm is called or referred to as the Messianic Psalm. Messianic means it belongs to Christ or the Messiah.

Now the word Messiah, that is in the English pronunciation, but in Hebrew or Syriac Aramaic is M'shicha or M'shicho. M'shicha or M'shicho means the Messiah, which means the Anointed One in the original language. So when you hear the word Messiah, it means literally the Anointed One.

So this psalm is referred to as the Messianic Psalm, meaning it belongs to Christ. And whatever belongs to Christ belongs to us as well. Whatever belongs to Christ belongs to us as well, because all that Christ had done was for our sake.

Whatever the Lord Jesus had done, he'd done it for us. He didn't need to do it for himself. He's God.

So whatever Christ had done, it was for our own sake. Christ was not in need of prayer. He prayed for our sake to bless our prayers.

He did not need to fast, but he fasted so that our fasting is blessed and accepted by God. See, Christ prayed, Christ fasted so that he would bless our prayers and fasting. Why? Because if we were to pray and fast on our own accord, our fasting and prayers wouldn't have reached two feet off the ground.

So the Lord Jesus came and took those very weak prayers of ours and very shallow fasting of ours and took it with him up all the way, not just to the heaven of all heavens. He took it to the Father's bosom. He took it to the heart of his heavenly Father.

The prayer that would not go up two feet off the ground reached the Father's heart through what Christ had done. Moses wrote Psalm 91. He also wrote Psalm 90.

He wrote Psalm 90 at the start of the Israelites journey in the wilderness, you know, when they were led out of Egypt by Moses, of course, through by God, through Moses. As they were led out of Egypt, the beginning or the start of the Israelites journey in that wilderness, the desert of Sinai, Moses the prophet wrote Psalm 90 at the start of that journey in the wilderness. And then he wrote Psalm 91, which is today's topic, at the end of the journey in that wilderness.

So he wrote Psalm 90 at the beginning of the journey and he wrote Psalm 91 at the end of the journey. So between Psalm 90 and 91, there is a time frame of about 38 E's. 38 E's.

So Psalm 90 was written in the first E and Psalm 91 was written in the last E, which is 40 E's. And then between the first and the 40 is 38. So it took 38 E's between Psalm 90 and 91 to be written by Moses the prophet.

At the start of the journey, Moses wrote, as we said, Psalm 90, which says, Psalm 90 says this. Look at this. Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.

Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations. The same wording as Psalm 91. Psalm 91, can we put the verse again, my dear Emmanuel, and keep it there.

Psalm 91, it says, he who dwells in the secret place of the most high. Psalm 90 says, Lord, you have been our dwelling place. And Psalm 91 says, he who dwells.

The same wording, dwelling, dwells. However, at the start, we did not keep this dwelling place. We betrayed the Lord.

The Israelite nation walked away from God in the desert. So God gave them his heart from the very start, but they betrayed him and walked away from that heart. We left that dwelling place and our hearts went back to Egypt.

So, some people, some people, my beloveds, the Lord Jesus touches their heart and bring them to them. They walk a little bit and afterwards, their heart starts, wants to go back to the world again. That's what the Israelite did.

At the beginning, they walked with God and then they said, no, but we miss Egypt. And Egypt represents the world and the pleasures of the world. So some people will come to the Lord Jesus.

At the beginning, it feels good. It looks good and it tastes good. But then after a little while, they say, no, I miss the good old days when I used to go out with my friends to the clubs and to the pubs and you name it.

I miss those days. So God gave us his dwelling place, his heart. But we deserted that heart.

We betrayed him because we wanted the heart to go back to Egypt and have fun in this world. However, Psalm 91, Moses wrote it to the new generation after the fall of the entire old generation. You see, the entire old generation that left Egypt, all of them died except two people.

Their children entered the promised land. None of them entered the promised land of the old generation because their heart was not with God. Their children entered the promised land.

And this gives us a lesson right now, the 21st century. Psalm 91, what is the lesson? Psalm 91 is a letter sent to every single one of us, my beloved. It is a letter sent to every single one of us to say this.

If you are afraid, if you are worried, if you are concerned of certain things that have happened in your life and that are happening right now, if you are worried about the future, the unknown, what will happen to me, to my family, to my children and the attacks that we go through, sometimes those attacks that come from Satan are fearsome. They're very powerful. And when we go through all these different attacks, worries, anxieties, concerns, heavy burdens, problems, issues, we fear a lot.

We start having our doubts and our concerns. What will happen to me and to my family? However, the Lord sends us a comforting letter today and says, verse one, he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91 is a letter of comfort sent by God to every frightened, concerned soul.

Do not be afraid, he says, for I know everything about you and I see everything that you've been through and that you are going through and will go through. I know it. I am God.

You don't need to tell me. You don't need to explain. But I expect one thing of you.

Choose to live in the secret place of the Most High. That's all I'm asking you to do. Just dwell in the secret place of the Most High and leave everything else to me.

Leave everything else to me. To understand Psalm 91, we need to understand the way this psalm speaks. This psalm speaks in three ways.

Number one, the psalm speaks in the language of the third person. Number two, the psalm speaks in the language of the present. Number three, the psalm speaks in the language of the observer.

These are the three ways Psalm 91 speaks with. The observer is the Holy Spirit. The third person is the invisible God.

And the present is the visible God who is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. So the psalm speaks in three languages. The observer, the present, and the third person.

The observer is the Holy Spirit. The third person is the invisible God. The present is the visible God, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

All glory to His holy and mighty name. For in John chapter 1 verse 18 it says, No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

No one has ever seen the invisible God and no one can ever see the invisible God. It is the Son who is in the bosom of the Father has declared the Father to all of us. Where is the Son dwelling? In the bosom of the Father.

What is Psalm 91 all about? The Father's bosom. And what is the Father's bosom? It's the image of the King. Now who is the King? It's the Son of God.

And who is the Son of God? Jesus Christ of Nazareth. So where does Jesus Christ of Nazareth dwell? In the heart of His Father. That's why the Son came to take us exactly where He is.

And He said it. Father, where I am, I want them all to be with Me. I want them all to be with Me.

I came to take those who are willing, listening to Me, accepting Me, being obedient to Me. I came to take you to where I am. The Father's bosom.

What is the Father's bosom? L-O-V-E. All capital letters. Love.

The world does not understand the language of love, unfortunately. Now the first language Psalm 91 speaks with is the third person. So verse 1, Psalm 91 verse 1 speaks in the language of the third person.

And it reads, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High. What is the meaning of the secret place? What does the word secret mean? Secret is to cover, to hide. You know when you cover something and you hide something, it becomes secret.

It becomes unseen, unknown. So, He who dwells in the secret place, this word secret means cover, to hide something or to cover something. Our beloved church mentions this word secret place always in her prayers.

The church teaches us to recite this prayer of the secret place all the time. And what is this prayer that represents the secret place? Kiria leison, Lord have mercy. Now the word Lord have mercy is that secret place where it hides and covers those who are seeking the mercy of the Lord.

How were we covered? Through the mercy of Christ. Through the grace of God. Lord have mercy, which means literally, when you say Lord have mercy, what does that mean? Lord, please cover me, please hide me.

I need your protection. That's what it means. Now why Lord cover me? Why? Because the first sign of sin ever was nakedness.

The moment they brought God's word, Adam and Eve found themselves before God to be naked. So that was the first sign of sin. Sin made us naked.

That's why we come to the Lord and beg Him for mercy, beg Him for cover, beg Him for hiding. Because I am a sinner and sin made me naked, cover me with you Lord. He who dwells in the secret place, he who seeks my mercy, I Jesus Christ of Nazareth, will cover him with my righteousness.

I'll cover his nakedness with my righteousness. Now who told Adam and Eve that they were naked? Sin opened their eyes. It was sin that opened their eyes that made them realize they were naked.

Were they naked prior to sinning? Yes. How come they did not know they were naked? Because their eyes were not opened yet. Sin opens eyes to things you don't want to see.

Our nakedness, my beloved, resulted in us doing two things. Our nakedness resulted in us doing two things. One, made us feel embarrassed with our own selves.

We became embarrassed with what we have done. Every time we make a mistake, we feel ashamed. That shame is nakedness.

That shame is nakedness. And secondly, made us flee from God. So made us embarrassed with our own selves and made us walk away from God.

Prior to the fall, Adam was in the bosom of God. After the fall, he said to God, I'm hiding because I'm naked. Adam ran away from the bosom of God.

God said to Adam, can you cover yourself while you're running away from me? Okay, you've realized your mistake. You've made a mistake. You've sinned against me.

You transgressed against me. And you can see that you are naked. You feel ashamed, embarrassed to stand before me as naked.

You're running away, but let me say this to you, my son. Even though you sin, but I'm still love. I'm still that love that created you.

Do you think by running away from me, you can cover yourself by yourself? Is there anyone else, Adam, outside of God that can cover your nakedness? No, Adam. Don't run away from me when you sin, but rather run to me when you sin. Not away from me.

Run to me. Yes, you feel ashamed. Yes, you feel embarrassed.

But never be embarrassed of your God because he's your dad. Don't ever lose track, I'm your dad. Don't be embarrassed of your dad.

Don't ever run away from dad. Because this dad is the only one that can cover your nakedness. You run away, you'll be lost forever.

So Adam said, I'm embarrassed. Don't be embarrassed from your father. Come back to the bosom of your father to cover your nakedness, Adam.

When we look at the prodigal son, you know when you read in the gospel according to St. Luke chapter 15. And it talks about, there's three parables there. The last one, and the three are all one.

It starts with the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son. All three are the same thing. One parable with three branches.

But when we look at the prodigal son, the lost son, what happened? You see, when that son decided to walk away from his father, he said, I don't want to live with you. Even though I'm living in a mansion, I live like a king. I am spoiled, I've got everything that I need at my fingertip.

But one thing I don't feel, I don't experience, I'm not free. Because as far as, as long as I'm living under your roof, dad, I have to do your way. I have to do things your way.

I don't want to do it your way, I want to do it my way. So dad, give me my portion, I want to go. Seek my own life, my own freedom, my own way.

He ended up working in the pig's field. And that's what happens to every single human being that walks away from the true living God. The end is the pig's field.

And what is the pig's field? The filth of the world. Where are you going to end up? In the streets and the dark alleys of this world. Drugs, alcoholism, gambling, men, women, in between, you name it, the filth of the world.

The only place where you are safe and sound is the father's bosom. So, you need Jesus Christ. No prophet can save you.

No good man can save you. No good philosopher can save you. No good politician can save you.

Because there is no one good. The only one who is good is God. And this God who is good, His name is Jesus, Christ of Nazareth.

Period. Period, my beloved. But look at the prodigal son.

He walked away from his dad. He ended up working in the pig's field. In the core and the heart of filth.

And then he came back to dad. After copying it the hard way. He realized, what am I doing here? I'm going to perish if I remain here.

I'll go back to my dad. He comes back. The father runs to him to welcome him.

Now the father is running. The father is dressed in holiness and righteousness. The son is dressed in filthiness.

The father in holiness. The son dressed in filthiness. And the moment he meets his son.

He does not think twice. Does not blink twice. This holy father grabs the son.

And holds him tight to his bosom. To the core of his heart. With his filth.

And then he says to the servants. Three things you do for my lost and dead son. Number one.

Bring out the best robe. And put it on him. The best.

The only one. Nothing like it. Bring out the best robe.

And put it on him. Number two. Put a ring on his hand.

Number three. And sandals on his feet. The son sat all clean.

And the father sat all dirty. Because he hugged his dirty son. The son became clean.

Because the father accepted to be dirty. For his salvation. But this time the dirt was not mud.

This time the dirt was the blood of his only begotten son. He slain his own son on the cross on Calvary. To make us whiter than snow.

And brighter than the sun. And to make his son dirty. Crucified among thieves.

Murderers. Second class citizens. Kicked, punched, ridiculed, spat on.

And then crucified. Fully naked from head to toe. The church puts that little robe around the waist of the Lord Jesus.

Out of respect for her heavenly groom. But Jesus Christ was crucified fully naked. And a mature adult.

A man in his 33 years of age. Fully mature adult man. Do you know how embarrassing it is to be crucified fully naked.

Where people were making fun of him. But you see the Holy Bible did not go into details what people said. But God recorded everything.

Nothing is lost with God. He can bring out every single dot, letter, word that was uttered out of their stupid and filthy mouths. God knows what they said about Jesus.

And he did not whisper. In fact, after all that ridicule. The Lord comes back and says, Father, forgive them.

For they do not know what they are doing. Why? Because I am all love for you my child. I, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I am all love for you.

No matter how far you've gone. No matter how deep you've gone in your sin. And in your wrong doings.

Just come back and say, Daddy, I'm sorry, forgive me. That's what I came for. To take you back to the Father's bosom.

To the Father's heart. Because I, the Son, Jesus Christ. I am my Father's heart.

I am his heart. And if you choose me, you become his heart as well. Through me.

That's Psalm 91. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High. The blood of Christ covered me and made me dwell in the Father's bosom.

In the Father's heart. And then the verse continues. Abide, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

That's the second half of the verse. Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Now my beloved, the first part of verse 1 speaks about the secret place.

And we said the secret place is, Lord have mercy. Which is the Father's bosom. Cover me Lord with your blood.

Cover me Lord with your sacrifice. Because without your covering, sin made me naked. And my nakedness cannot take me back to my Father's house anymore.

I lost it. That's why the Son of God came back. To bring the lost son back to his Heavenly Father.

And that lost son is all of us. So the secret place is where God covers our sins. But under the shadow of the Almighty.

Now why shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty? Why shall abide under the shadow? When we sinned, we fell under a shadow. And the Almighty turned a shadow into the shadow. I'll say it again.

When we sinned, we fell under a shadow. But the Almighty turned a shadow into the shadow. Now which shadow did we fall under when we sinned? The shadow of death.

Where do we find this? In Psalm 23 verse 4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. I think it's getting hot. That's not part of the topic.

That's to do with the air con. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. Now, does death have a shadow? Who can tell me? Does death have a shadow? Well, the Holy Bible says it does.

So what are you going to say? Yes, it does. Now, what is the shadow of death? Hell. Hell.

Hell is the shadow of death. Now, what led me to death? Sin. When I broke God's word, I sinned against God.

Through sin, I ended up being dead. And death took me to hell. So, sin took me to death and death handed me over to hell.

What King David is saying in Psalm 23, Death is difficult, but hell is impossible. Not difficult. So, can Christ bring someone from the dead? Yes, well, he brought Lazarus from the dead.

He was dead four days and he raised him from the dead by just one word, Lazarus, come forth. So, King David is saying, even when I sin, I'll end up being dead. To come back from the dead, it is difficult.

But to come back from hell, it is impossible. Not difficult. But the good shepherd, because Psalm 23 begins, the Lord is my shepherd.

Who is the shepherd? The Lord. And who is this Lord? The shepherd? The Lord Jesus. King David is saying, my Jesus Christ, who is my Lord, my shepherd, not only he brought me out of death, the difficult situation, he brought me out of hell, the impossible situation.

You see, if I end up in death, there is a chance I can come back. But to end up in hell, it is impossible to come back. Christ did the impossible.

Out of hell, he took me out. Because what is impossible to men is possible to God, says the Lord. So, when we sinned, we fell under a shadow, the shadow of death, according to Psalm 23, verse 4. Now, King David, you're saying, yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

Why will you not fear evil? Why will you not fear? Well, he says, see, because the Lord Jesus entered, entered the shadow of death, and turned it into the shadow of the Almighty. Because the Lord Jesus entered the shadow of death, he died for my sake, he took my place, and he entered that death, and that shadow of death. Because he entered that shadow of death, he turned the shadow of death into the shadow of the Almighty.

You're with me? See how Psalm is beautiful? The Holy Bible is beautiful. Whatever you read is just incredible. That's what Jesus Christ is all about.

He's just amazing. He's just amazing. So, Jesus Christ entered the shadow of my death, I, David, and turned my shadow of death into the shadow of the Almighty.

Because the Lord Jesus is able to change death to life, loss to gain, and evil to good. He's capable, and more than capable. And this is to everyone who is listening.

If you are going to compare Jesus Christ to any other religious figure, or any other philosophical figure, or any other political figure, my advice to you, don't even try to do it, because you will come out a loser. But let me go with you, and let's compare Jesus Christ with any and every other religious figure. I'll ask you this, my dear friend.

With all the religious figures of the world, all of them, without differentiation, what was the ultimate they could have achieved in the human life? The ultimate they would have achieved is this. Change a bad person into a good person. Maybe they brought certain morals, values, and principles of life.

You know, they brought some good teachings, and with those teachings they touched people's hearts, and they changed those bad people into some morally kind of a good people. That's the ultimate they could ever achieve. Jesus Christ, all glory to His holy and mighty name, He did not come to change bad people into good people.

He came to change dead people into living ones. And this, you cannot compare the Lord with no one else. Nobody ever dared, nobody ever dared in the history of humanity, to say, if you believe in me, even if you die, you will live.

But if you take my body and drink my blood, you will live in me forever. Nobody dared to say such a foundational profound statement except Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Well, He's either a full lunatic, or He is either fully God revealed in the flesh.

Because the only one that can guarantee eternal life is God. And the reason why all the religious leaders were not able to claim this, because all of them realized they are mortal human beings, dead as all of us. Jesus, His tomb is empty.

And every Saturday before Sunday resurrection, that holy fire comes out of that tomb. To say, out of darkness, I brought light. And the light is the life of mankind.

Out of the grave, I brought life. Only God can do the impossible. That's why Jesus said it, because He is God.

He has it in Him. That's why He was able to say it. And He gave it to those who believed in Him.

And He still gives it to whoever believes in Him. Even if it's right this very moment. He's willing.

And He's ready. It's up to you, my son. Up to you, my daughter, to come to the Lord.

But you better come being honest with yourself. You see, the Lord, one thing He will never, never tolerate. You come to Him faking it.

Acting. Putting a mask on. Pretending that, yes, I made a mistake, but it wasn't my fault, Lord.

It was that guy over there. The Lord will kick you so hard, you won't know what hit you. The Lord wants honesty.

Be honest. Say, Lord, I've sinned. It was my fault.

It wasn't that guy over there. It wasn't even Satan. Even though Satan, he actually had a hand in it.

But I shouldn't have listened to Satan. Yet I listened to him. So it is entirely my fault.

The Lord will make a saint out of you. And not only that. To be a saint is nothing.

But it takes sainthood to see the Lord. So, if it takes holiness to see God, then I want to be holy. I don't want to be holy for the sake of being holy.

I wouldn't give a penny about it. But to see the beauty of Christ. Oh yes, I want to be holy right now.

Just to see your face, my Lord. What I care about is you. I don't care about holiness.

I care about you. This is the intention of a true believer should be. We are here for the Lord.

We are not here to be applauded. We are not here to be rewarded. We are not here to be recognized.

We are here to live for Him. And the only way to live for Him is when I and you and all of us die to our old selves. We need to die.

That old person that dragged me in the streets of King's Cross. That old person that took me to the wrong places for the wrong reason with the wrong people. That person must be buried.

Must, in order to truly live Christ. Christians are still asleep while Satan is devouring the flock. Church leaders are still asleep while Satan is dividing the church.

Wake up church leaders. It is not about your throne and my throne. It is not about your rank and my rank.

It is not about you nor me. It's about the King of all kings and the Lord of all lords. And as a church leader, don't ever be a hypocrite.

And invite people that should not be invited into the holy sanctuary. Yeah? Be a man. And even if they kill you, so be it.

But be a man for the Lord. We are not here to please people. We are here to please the Lord.

Yes, we love everyone. Don't get me wrong. I pray for everyone.

I pray for everyone. I don't care who you are, what you are. I love you.

But one thing. You talk to me about the Lord Jesus. I'll say He's my God, He's my Lord, He's my Savior, He's my Redeemer, He's my everything.

This is a non-negotiable area. You like it, you like it. You don't.

Either way, I will always love you. I'll always pray for you. But, I will not do anything to please you.

I'm here to please the Lord. No one else. If the church leaders were real men, we wouldn't have had these problems in the world.

How can I show you? See that throne? Caused a lot of dramas. Because if we were seeking the Lord, I wouldn't have seeked the throne. Have you ever heard anybody sitting on the floor and falling? Who falls? The one that wants to climb up.

Why do you want to climb up? Oh, because I want to be seen. I want to be the center of attention. I want everybody to look up to me.

I want to be higher and above everyone else. No, my dear friend. Hide.

Don't show yourself. Let God reveal you to the world. Don't ever try it yourself.

Because you'll fail. And you will fail miserably. We need the Lord.

We need the Lord. Oh, Jesus Christ. There is no words that could ever describe Him.

He just goes silent. Exactly. My beloved.

This is the meaning of under the shadow of the Almighty. What do I do under the shadow of the Almighty? He shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. He abides.

Meaning, He abides. It means He stays. When I abide under the shadow of the Almighty, I stay under His shadow.

I remain under His shadow. I live under His shadow. And when you live, that means you sleep there.

And you wake up there. And you sleep there. And you wake up there.

You stay there all your life. You don't leave. When you live in a place, you stay in that place.

You sleep in that place. You wake up in that place. You eat in that place.

You drink in that place. You dress in that place. You go and come from that place.

That place is your home. Even when you go out, you go back to it. That's what it means.

Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Since Christ, my Lord and Savior, entered the shadow of my death, and turned that shadow to the shadow of the Almighty, then that shadow of the Almighty, which Christ made possible for me, is going to be my home. This we must choose.

Christ will never impose it on no one. You must choose to live under the shadow of the Almighty. That's your choice.

Christ has done His job. Now it's up to you to accept what He has done for you and me and for all of us. Some do, some don't.

And those who don't are doomed forever, my beloved. You know, Satan is unbearable. I could say things, but I don't want to scare you.

Trust me, you don't want him. And you don't want to end up being where he is. It's very ugly.

But with the Lord, amazing. You know, the Lord Jesus is amazing even when He is stubborn, when He is hard, when He just pretends that He's quiet and He's not talking at all. He's just gorgeous.

Even when He gets on your nerves, He's still gorgeous. Like you get upset, but you can't not love Him. You get angry, but you can't not love Him.

You see, He's smiling now. He says, What do you talk? You talk about me now? You better watch out. I'll fix you later, huh? I say, you fix me, I've got my mama, my holy mother.

You come to me, I'll call my mom, she deals with you. I love this man. Wow.

He abides means He stays a lifetime on earth and eternity in heaven. In John chapter 1, look at this. John the Baptist, you read this in John chapter 1. When you go home, read John chapter 1. It's not on the screen.

John the Baptist was standing and a couple of apostles, his own disciples were with him. He sees the Lord Jesus passing by. He says, behold the Lamb of God who carries away the sins of the world.

Two of his disciples decide to follow the Lord. Since they saw their own teacher, John the Baptist, saying such a profound statement about Jesus, they said, well, we better go and see who this man is. Behold the Lamb of God who carries away the sins of the world.

So two of John the Baptist's disciples follow the Lord. The Lord Jesus realizes there are two people following Him. The Lord stops, turns around and He says, yes, what can I do for you? They said, we want to know where you stay.

One of the most beautiful verses ever in the Holy Bible, which I adore, is what these two disciples said to the Lord Jesus. We want to know where you stay. He said, come and find out for yourselves.

And then the Holy Bible says, and they stayed with the Lord all day. There was never a mention of all night. See, when you read the Holy Bible, what is written is trying to tell you what is not written.

So don't just focus on what is written, but go beyond by looking at what is written to understand what the Lord is trying to say to you on what is not written. Because when you follow the Lord and stay with Him, rest assured it is all day. It will never be night because the Lord is the light of the world.

And what is night? Sin. What is night? Death. What is night? Evil.

And what is light? Life. What is light? What is day? Light. Holiness.

Purity. Beauty. And they stayed there all day.

So they came and saw where the Lord stayed. They realized afterwards. The Lord was saying, you want to know where I stay? I have no place.

I have nowhere to stay. Haven't you heard what the son of man said? The birds of the sky have a nest to dwell in. The foxes have homes to go and live in.

But the son of man has no place to lay his head on. So if you want to follow me, don't follow me thinking that I'll give you a place. Don't follow me thinking that you'll get a benefit out of me.

Like, I'll be nice to you so you can be nice to me, Lord Jesus. What is this? Some sort of a transaction? Are we buying and selling here? What are we profiting here? Trying to build some sort of an empire for myself out of the Lord Jesus? Trying to be famous based on his name? Using his name for my own personal advancement? Getting money? In the name of the Lord. Hallelujah.

So we can build more schools and more other buildings that will remain dust to dust and ashes to ashes. If any politician comes to me, I'll love that politician from the heart. I'll pray for them from the heart.

And whatever I can do for them, I will. But I will never do it to gain any earthly benefits. And if they come with that intention, they better not come because I will kick them out.

I will throw them out. Get out of my face. You better come genuine.

I love you as you are. I don't want nothing from you because you can't do anything. I wait for the Lord.

And if the Lord wants something, even if you don't like it, he will do it. See, they don't know the Lord. But since I know the Lord, I'm not going to act like them.

They need to learn to act like me. So for the sake of money, I don't sell the Lord. The Lord bought us all with his blood.

Neither me nor you, my dear friend, can afford that blood. The only thing you can do is bow before that blood and put your head at his feet and confess that you're a sinner and you need the Savior to redeem you and to save you. His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

The Lord says, you want to know where I stay? I don't have a place. On earth, I don't. Because if I had a place on earth, then maybe following me was for some sort of a personal benefit.

I don't want people to come and follow me because I give them, because I reward them, because I pay them back. I want people to follow me for me and no other thing. If you don't come for me, don't come at all.

Because if you don't love me, what is the point of staying with me? You're lying to yourself. You cannot lie to Jesus. I am God.

I know you. I want you to be honest. Come and speak to me the language of the heart.

Because I only speak the language of the heart. I don't accept lip service. I don't accept lip service.

See, when you abide under the shadow of the Almighty, meaning you will always be there. In other words, what is the psalmist trying to tell us? He's saying, you do not come for a visit and then leave the Lord. You do not come to church for half an hour or come to the bishop and say, Bishop, your preaching is for too long.

Can you please shorten it? I can't stay in the church too long. You're not coming for the bishop. You are coming to abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Every time you read the Holy Bible, you are under the shadow of the Almighty. Every time you come to the Holy Mass service to receive the body and the blood of Christ, you are abiding under the shadow of the Almighty. Every time you're coming to a preach like tonight, you are abiding under the shadow of the Almighty.

And if I truly love you the way the Lord taught me and showed me how much He loves me, if I truly love you, I can't give you a drive-thru service. I beg you don't accept it. And to my beloved priests and bishops and leaders of the church, stop shortening the church services.

You will lose the flock to Satan. You know what happens? Some will come here to this bishop and say, Oh, I attended the Holy Mass. It was three hours.

Man, I can go just down the street. This church does it in half an hour. And I went and it was so beautiful.

I didn't even feel it was half an hour, like in and out. Mackers, drive-thru, in and out. But you know what, my beloved child, will happen when you continue this way.

Before you know it, you will end up being a total stranger to Jesus Christ. What comes easy, goes easy. You don't want to spend time under the shadow of the Almighty.

Why would the Almighty spend time with you? And when you get into trouble, what do you do? The priest is going to come to your rescue? No. The bishop? No. It is the crown of glory.

The King of all kings will come to your rescue. But the King of all kings says, I want you to abide under the shadow of the Almighty while you're rushing. Is this how much you love me? You can't afford half an hour for me? You're suffocating? You're suffocating to stay with me for half an hour? Too much? In a week? You've been running for a very long time throughout the week.

Half an hour is too much for your Lord? It's alright, stay in the church and snort it off. Sleep in the church, but you're in the church. You made an effort.

True story, I remember this beautiful old lady, she moved on to heaven, she passed away a couple of years back. One day, I was preaching and she was sitting sort of in the church. And then ten minutes into the preach, I heard the most beautiful orchestra playing.

She was snoring. Not even Bach and Beethoven were as brilliant as her. And she snored it off for the entire hour and a half.

And I was raising my voice, this is a true story, I was raising my voice deliberately and sometimes I would say, In the hope that she would be startled and wake up, she would snore even stronger. The louder I became, the louder she became. And after I finished, she woke up, miraculously.

And then she woke up to me, and she said, Bishop, this was the most beautiful lecture I have ever heard. In my heart, I said, in your dream, baby. Because she must have been dreaming.

But she stayed under the shadow of the Almighty, snoring it off. This is why I don't want you to go too quick out of the shadow of the Almighty. The Lord says, you want to know where I stay? Just follow me.

What's it to you? None of your business where I stay. What you need to know is you need to stay under my shadow. That's what you need to do.

My shadow is not a place. My shadow is the heart. It's not a country.

It's not a property. It's not a throne. It's the person of Christ.

I am that shadow of the Almighty. When you love me from the heart, you will abide under the shadow of the Almighty. You just follow me.

And wherever I am, just be there. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Wow.

That's why, Lord, I don't care about heaven. I don't care about hell. And if there is anything in between, I don't care about none of it.

All I care about is I want to be with you. Because heaven without you is hell. But hell with you is heaven.

Because what matters is you, not the place. But the owner of the place. That's what matters.

I don't care, Lord, if I am accepted in the church or rejected. I don't care, Lord, if I am recognized or not. I don't care, Lord, if people love me or hate me.

I don't care, Lord, if they agree or disagree. I don't care if I have a church or not. If I have a throne or a gutter.

It doesn't matter. What matters is as long as I am with you. And Lord, I am begging you.

I am weak. I am a sinner. Just don't let me go.

Even if I sleep. Not if. Even when I sleep.

You are the faithful one. Don't let me go, Lord. Bring me back.

Because I want to live under your shadow, Lord. Please help me. When I come to you, through your grace and mercy.

Keep me there, Lord, no matter what. Keep me there. Just come and follow the Lord and stay with him.

Sleep there. Remain there. Don't ever walk away from the Lord Jesus.

Since Christ conquered death. Then I can rest and sleep at peace. Knowing that Christ overcame death.

With his resurrection. Amen. Christ is risen.

In him I am triumphant. In him I find my rest. And in Matthew 11.28. It says it all.

The Lord Jesus in Matthew 11.28 says. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden. And I will give you rest.

Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. That's where you will find your rest. When you are with Christ.

He is your rest. And one last thing. Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

God is Almighty. God is all-powerful. What is the difference between God being the Almighty.

And God being the all-powerful. The difference is this. God being the all-powerful.

If anyone of us makes a mistake. He will chop our head. If God uses his power.

He will not accept one little tiny mistake. He will wipe it from existence. If he uses his power.

But we thank God. For using his mightiness. Not his power when it comes to us.

God Almighty means. We destroy things. He builds them.

We sin. Out of sin. He brings holiness.

Out of death. He brings life. Out of darkness.

He brings light. That is the Almighty. He brings out of ruins.

His oasis. So every time we sin. And we go to him.

We say Lord. Forgive me for I have sinned. He uses his mightiness.

Not his power. To change that sinner into a saint. Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Not the all-powerful. The Almighty is the loving father. The all-powerful is the everlasting judge.

What Christ has done. The very judge. Who judges.

Became your dad. The very judge who judges. Became your dad.

When the judge enters that courtroom. They say. All stand.

For the honorable judge so and so. Is in whatever. And they all stand.

That judge walks in. With a big head. Everybody is respecting the judge.

And everybody is standing. And that judge goes home. Nobody says.

All stand. For the honorable judge is entering the house of so and so. And the judge enters the house.

And the children are sitting. Relaxing. Taking their you know.

Comfort. And then the judge says. Hello everybody.

And the son looks at him and says. G'day dad. He goes.

Oh dad. Can you get me a glass of water please? Look I'm just too comfortable to get up. How come you all stand out of fear.

In the courtroom. But you sit with comfort at home. It's the same judge.

But no. In the courtroom he's the judge. At home that judge is my dad.

Because I will abide under the shadow of the almighty. Christianity is just. Very unique.

Nothing like it. Christianity is not a religion. Don't ever invoke the name religion.

I don't like it when they include Christianity in the circle of religion. Can't. Cannot be there.

Because. All the religions. With love and respect.

Yeah. I don't know. I've got one eye.

With love and respect. And I mean it from the bottom of my heart. I love everyone.

I love everyone. But with love and respect. Religion.

The moment you invoke the word religion. You are automatically invoking a set of rules. Guidelines.

Regulations. And laws. You go to all the religions of the world.

They will say to you this. If you do this and this and this and this. You will have a good chance of making it somewhere nice.

But if you fail to do this and this and this and this. Your place is going to be very ugly. It's all about doing.

You have to do this. And you have to do this. And you have to do this.

In order to have a better place. Christianity. The Lord says.

Without me. You cannot do anything. John 15 verse 5. Without me.

You cannot do anything. Christianity is not a religion. Because religion is to do with law.

Christianity is to do with the person of Christ. That's why. It is in Christianity only.

Love is made possible. Why? Because love cannot exist in set of laws. Have you ever seen Allah loving you? Man.

If you are speeding. And that copper. The gold copper.

Where they hide behind that tree. Or in that little hill. And then he's got the radar on your car.

And the sign says 60. And you're doing 80. And he gets you on the radar.

And he says pull over. Your license. You can beg him till kingdom comes.

You can say my mother is cooking the best food. And I was rushing. I was taking my wife to eat.

You can say whatever you want to say. You say listen mate. Whatever you say is recorded on this camera.

It's going to the head office. Okay. I got you on the radar.

You want to check the radar? 80. That's it. Here's your ticket bro.

You want to contest it? We'll see you in the local court. Otherwise you don't have much of a chance. The law says you broke the law.

The law breaks you. There is no love. You break the law.

The law breaks you. When you come to the Lord Jesus. By the way the Lord is the logos.

The word and this word is the fullness of the law. You see the Lord did not break the law. He fulfilled the law on our behalf.

Because we couldn't do it. But when we come to Jesus Christ. I'm not dealing with law.

I'm dealing with the person. And love can only be between two persons. I went out and my eyes fell on this gazelle.

And then my heart started going bum bum. And my brain went num num. And then when the heart went bum bum.

I could not understand what happened. I just found myself standing before that gazelle. And I said.

G'day. My name is Jono. What's your name? When it comes to love.

The Lord Jesus says. My son you broke the law. I'll take the punishment.

Because I love you. The law has not been abolished. It's fulfilled through Christ.

But the punishment. He took it on himself. That's why he died on the cross.

Because his love is so immense. He could not see his child being punished. And the father sitting in silence doing nothing about it.

He could not do it. He got up and he said. I'll take the punishment.

I'll die for you. To give you eternal life. Because I love you.

Christ. Is a person. Where you come to enter.

A relationship with him. Based on true divine love. Christianity is not a religion.

It's a belief in the person of Christ. And that's why where we are able to love him. Because he became one of us.

He became like us. That's why I'm able to love a human being. I can't love a tree.

Yes we can say I love this tree. But it's not the same love. When you love Rachel.

When you gonna hug the tree for the rest of your life. That intimate love. Is made possible between people.

God became man. So that we can love him. And be able to love him.

So Christianity is based on the person of Christ. Who is love. So now and I'll leave you with this 100%.

In Christianity you do not have to come to church. If any church leader says to you. You must go to church.

Say the bishop said no I don't have to. I take full responsibility. You do not have to pray.

You do not have to read the holy bible. You do not have to fast. You do not have to do anything good.

Do you love the Lord Jesus? If you say yes I do. Then if you love the Lord. You have to go to church.

If you love the Lord. You have to pray. If you love the Lord.

You have to read the holy bible. If you love the Lord. You have to fast.

If you love the Lord. Then you need to be good. So going to church.

Praying. Doing. All the charitable deeds.

Are the result and the fruits. Of this love. Which he gave me on the cross.

And if the son sets you free. Surely you are free. Wow.

Amazing. Amazing. I'm not chained by law.

I'm chained by the love. Of my love. You see the love chains a person.

When you love somebody you're stuck. It could be a difficult relationship. But the problem you love them.

When we come to Jesus Christ. We come to him. For him.

With him. By him. In him.

Through him. Everything him. Don't look at nothing else.

Don't look at nobody else. Who cares about the bishop? Who cares about anyone sitting next to me? With all love and respect I'm saying this. Because the focus has to be on the Lord.

And then through the Lord love everyone. Don't ever do it the other way. Don't ever love the bishop outside of the Lord.

You better love me. Because of the Lord. And if I don't give you the Lord.

Don't love me. Don't listen to me. Don't come to me.

You need to love Jesus Christ of Nazareth. That's what it's all about. You see when we go to heaven.

The bishop is nothing. When you see Christ in heaven. You'll forget yourself.

Your entire being. He blows you away with his beauty. Trust me.

He's gorgeous. I can't wait to be with him. But until that day comes.

I always pray and ask the Lord to give me patience. To stay in this vanity of all vanity. Called the world.

But you know. What rewards me the most. Is when I see you.

On earth. When I see you it's like I see the Lord. That's how happy I become.

Because I know he's in all of you. He's in all of you. So that gives me comfort.

Whatever happens. Don't walk away from the Lord Jesus. Don't walk away from the church.

Don't walk away from his word. Because it's the only truth. Love everyone.

Pray for everyone. Wish everyone the best. And nothing but the best.

Oh Lord. Have mercy on me. Cover me.

With your feathers. Cover me with your precious blood. I need to be.

But in front of people. Don't show your faith man. Relax.

I said okay which one? She took me and got me a Holden Calais. It was a V8 but one of those like a woman kind of a Calais. Very delicious and very delicate.

I said mom there is no noise here mom. It's kind of boring. She said let's go for a drive.

I put my mom in the backseat. She sat. We drove.

She felt like a queen. She came out. She said this one.

I said mom please I want the other one. She said I'll kill you this one. I saluted my mom.

I came out with a woman Holden. No, no, no. But we need to be genuine.

When you love someone, you love them. In their face, behind their back. We need to be genuine.
