I was a good-looking, young, beautiful priest into a very ugly old bishop. So, that's the miracle of technology in the 21st century. A very good evening to everyone.

How are we? Can't hear you? Can't hear you? Alright, alright, alright. My sincere apologies for all of you. I was running very late.

And to those who are watching us for live streaming, yeah, this is not AI, okay? Come on, laugh. So, it's drizzling outside, it's a bit of a rain. I thought I was going to be talking to myself, but thank the Lord for all of you.

That's amazing. So, well done guys, you're really surprising me day by day. It's been a while since we've done a Q&A, so we thought we'll take that opportunity.

And by the grace of the Lord, we are able to answer some of the questions that I put forth. So, we will start with this question. How can we justify all the bad things that are happening in the world from a Godly perspective, I believe? From a Godly perspective.

How can we justify all the bad things that are happening in the world from God's perspective or from a Godly perspective? How can we justify them? Well, the Lord Jesus pre-warned us that a time will come people would have walked away in a very big magnitude away from God. And we are witnessing this very, very clearly as the daylight. The 21st century generation in general, there are still some wonderful, wonderful, wonderful people in the world.

And some wonderful, wonderful Christians more specifically in the world. And not only Christians, but people in general. You'll see there are some absolutely beautiful people with a beautiful conscience still ticking in the world.

However, in the general sense, we see the world has gone extremely, extremely evil. But you see, the Lord said, the Son of Man will not come back again unless there is no more faith. Because he said it, when the Son of Man comes back again, will he find faith on earth? No, that's why he's coming back.

So that needs to happen. And since the Lord is going to come back again, therefore, faith will diminish from the face of the earth. The problem of our time and age is one thing.

We have become an autonomous culture. And you probably have heard us say this before. There are three kinds of cultures, no more, no less.

There is the theonomous culture, there is the heteronomous culture, and there is the autonomous culture. These are Greek words. Theos means God.

Nomos means law. Theos, God's. Nomos, law culture.

Hedros means another. Hedros, nomos, another law culture. And there is otos, that's where oto is taken from.

It's a Greek word. Otos means self, law-driven culture. Well, if I ask myself, which of these three is the 21st century, definitely the last one.

Self-driven culture. Definitely it is not God's. If God was ruling, why would we live in hell? Why would we live in hell? Why would we struggle? If God was ruling, we would have been living in absolute heaven.

And when God is absent in our life, there is another one's law culture. And that is seen in certain areas. But in the general sense, the 21st century is definitely an autonomous culture.

It is a self-law culture. Everyone says, it is either my way or you hit the highway, brother. You cannot talk to a little kid.

You cannot convince anyone, even your intention. Even though your intention is good, but you can't convince them. Because if it doesn't fit with my own way of thinking, it is rejected, period.

I don't care if it is right. They don't even bother to know. It's just a dead end.

I say, the 21st century is the Garden of Eden. We've gone back to that full cycle from where all began. It's all about me.

God said, don't eat. I said, no, I'll eat. Because I choose to do so.

So when you are living in such a culture, where it is either my way or nothing else, it is impossible to agree on anything. The problem when it's an autonomous culture, there is one problem that humanity faces inevitably. And that is tolerance.

No one wants to tolerate no one else. Tolerance is intolerable. Everybody is on the edge.

Everybody is angry. And you ask them, why are you angry? I don't know, I'm just angry, okay? Leave me alone. What's wrong? Even in my dream, I'm fighting.

In my sleep, I'm tossing. No peace. Because unless and until God, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rules over your life, and until he becomes the theonomous culture, we allow him for his law to be conquering, ruling over our lives, there is no contentment.

There is no peace. There is nothing. And that's why you look at the world, everyone is fighting.

What are you fighting for? What are you fighting about? I don't know, I am just fighting, and that's it, okay? Don't ask anymore. And the biggest joke, overall, everybody is fighting to end up being in the grave at the end. That's what we are fighting for.

Because everyone will die eventually. So is this what you are fighting for? Well, I want to conquer the world. Alexander the Great conquered the world in six years.

He's dead, rotted, gone with the wind. What have you gained, Alexander the Great? Zilch, zero, nothing. And so many people of great influence, where are they? Yet the son of a carpenter, and the son of Mary, whom we don't know where he comes from, he has no people with him, no authority with him, no degrees, PhDs with him.

We don't know he is, but he is still ever so strong, after 2,024 years. Amazing. How do you justify them? Be close to the Lord Jesus.

You cannot fight evil. You cannot fight evil with evil. You can only fight evil with good.

And there is only one good, and that is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, because the only one who is good is God. And Jesus Christ said in John chapter 10, I am the good shepherd. Now the word good means God.

The word good means God. So we can't fight evil with evil, but fight it with good. Love is the supreme ethic, and love is the only thing that never fails, and love is the only thing that lives and endures forever.

Everything else will perish, except love. Amen. So love the Lord, allow the Lord to bring his theonomous culture into your life, and then you can justify the evilness of the world.

If someone who is Christian by name, I like that. If someone who is Christian by name happens to die, e.g. church bombing, God forbids, beheading, will he still go to heaven as a martyr? Maybe yes, maybe no. It all depends.

If he is a Christian by name and he happened to be in the church when he was being bombed, what was he doing in the church? Did he lose his way to somewhere and he ended up being in the church, or was he invited to go to the church? However, if he is being killed for the name of Jesus Christ, and he is actually asked to deny his name, and he never or she never did, then definitely they are martyrs. Definitely they are martyrs. But we pray, we pray, if God forbids, for something like that to happen, but if it happens, we pray that the Lord accepts them as martyrs, because martyrdom is the highest rank in the church.

Martyrdom is the highest rank in the church. You will resemble your Lord Jesus Christ 100%, because don't forget the Lord was martyred on the cross. There are two kinds of baptisms.

There are other baptisms, as the church fathers put it, but I'm talking about the main, main, main baptisms. There is the baptism of water, and there is the baptism of blood. The baptism of water, every Christian is baptized in the name of the Father, of the Son, of the Holy Spirit.

We dip him in the baptismal font. But there is a greater baptism than water, which is the baptism of blood, which is martyrdom. And the Lord was martyred on the cross, so when you are baptized in the blood, now you resemble the Lord Jesus.

It is a direct ticket to paradise. When you die for His sake, there is no greater reward in heaven than going there, being martyred on earth. No greater reward.

So we pray they are accepted as martyrs. But I pray that we are not just Christians by name, but by deed. Amen? A skinny guy said to the... No, I'm just kidding.

You see, I taught Whitney Houston how to sing. There you go. This is a controversial question.

Bit of a political attempt to it, but I don't know if I should do it. I'll do it. That's it.

What was first for Christians to begin with? Was it the church or the Bible? Depends. If you come from... This is with all love and respect, yes, please. Lately, the bishop doesn't know how to talk anymore because every time I wanna talk, somebody takes it and puts it in a different perspective altogether.

What a world, man. You wanna feel like you wanna talk freely without being... Anyway, it's all good. Which came first, the church or the Bible? If you come from an apostolic background, and when I say apostolic background, I mean Catholic and Orthodox.

Sorry, I just dropped the glasses. I'm gonna have a great sale very soon. Thank you, dear Father.

If you come from an apostolic background, with all love and respect, yes, Catholic, Orthodox, these are apostolic churches. Apostolic means they are established by the apostles of the Lord Jesus. That's why they are referred to as apostolic.

So whenever you hear the term apostolic, means the disciples, the apostles, the 12 apostles and the 70, which the Lord himself chose while on earth. These apostles established these churches after the Lord went up to heaven and sat at the right hand of his heavenly Father. So when you come from the apostolic churches, Catholic and Orthodox being them, the church comes first and through the church, the Holy Bible.

Reason being, and it is true, with all love and respect, it is true. Because the Lord gave his word to the church, i.e. the apostles. We are the church, yes? We say that, don't we? We say we are the church.

The Christians, the faithfuls. So who were the church, the very early church, which the Lord actually established? The disciples he chose. What did the Lord, after choosing them, what did he do? Then he gave them his word.

Then he gave them his word. And then the church, i.e. the faithfuls, the followers of the Lord, took the word and gave it to the world. So where did the word of the Lord, the Holy Bible, come? Come through the church.

And the Holy Bibles, that you have readily available at hand, the one you read at home and I pray you too, and if you haven't, please start from tonight. So these Holy Bibles, the way you see them structured into books, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, in this particular order, and in this perfect order, I should add. In this perfect order.

Where did this come from? The church. The church fathers put it in this way. And then you have chapters, you have verses, and in this particular perfect order, the church put it together.

The other thing, who said Genesis is authentic? The book of Genesis is authentic. Who said the book of Revelation is authentic? Who said Daniel is authentic? Who said Isaiah is authentic? Who said Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are authentic? The Lord had 12 disciples, following Him everywhere. How come there is no 12 gospel writers? Why are they 4? The church decided to put it.

Why? Because the Lord chose it to be in this order. The Lord wanted it to be this order. The Holy Spirit, who dwelt in us through the holy baptism, revealed to the church fathers, on how to structure the Holy Bible, according to Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

And that's why there were so many councils, throughout the history of the church. The council of Carthage 397, where they started putting the Holy Bible together. It took centuries, for this Holy Bible to be in this particular order.

And the books that are contained in this holy book, were stamp sealed by the church, to say they are authentic. For someone to come and say, it is the word first. Well, who gave it to you? And who put it for you to say, you read this book, don't read that book? The church did.

So the church comes first. And through the church, the word of God. Saint Paul, Saint Paul says one thing, out of so many beautiful things.

He says, the angels learn about God through the church. Think about it. Did you know, angels can never understand who God is? You know why? Because angels live and exist in the eternal realm only.

In the eternal realm, there is God. The infinite creator. That infinite creator, no one can understand in his infinite existence.

Angels have beginning. They don't have an end, but they have a beginning. Therefore, they are limited when it comes to God.

Who can understand the infinite God? No one. The only way angels began to know how God functions, when the angels looked at the church, and listened to this good old bishop preaching, and saying, this is what Jesus Christ meant when he said in John this, and in Matthew this, and in Luke this. When the angels hear all these people preaching, explaining the Holy Bible, then they get who their God is, and how he thinks, and how he functions.

The church is foundational. My beloveds, the church is the mother, and Christ is the father. The church is the mother, and Christ is the father.

Who gives birth to you? The mother, through the father. So who is your foundation? The mother, the parents. You need to be born first in order to understand later.

Without birth, what word? If you're not born, what use is the word for you? You need to come into existence, through your parents, your spiritual parents, who is Christ and the church. And then when you are born, then you will receive the word of the Lord. So the church is the foundation.

And through the church, the word of God came, with all love and respect. The church put this Holy Bible together and said, it is authentic. Any other books that come now, are rejected by the church.

Book of Enoch is rejected. Book of Thomas, the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Peter, so many Gospels. Not authentic.

The church fathers stamped, sealed the Holy Bible and said, no more. Any other book surfaces up later on, not accepted. So no one can come now, and say, I accept this book.

No one. Even those people who say, the word came before the church, they can't even accept the book of Thomas. Why can't you? Because the church did not accept it.

The church fathers did not accept it. So, why are you now, not accepting the church fathers? Why? Because the church fathers said, the book of Thomas is not authentic. The Gospel of Peter is not authentic.

The church fathers. Alright, beautiful. Thank you very much.

Love the church. The church is your mom. And the commandment of God stands forever.

When he gave it to Moses on Mount Sinai, he said, respect your father and mother. That can apply to your spiritual father, Jesus Christ, and to your spiritual mother, the church. Not the physical only, the spiritual as well.

So respect your father and mother. Your father is Christ, and your mother is the church. If you do not respect your mother, the church, then you are not respecting Christ himself.

And if you are not respecting Christ, you are not respecting his word, whom he gave to his beloved bride. His beloved bride. This question we all ask, don't we? Sometimes I don't feel close to God, or feel his presence like others do.

I know me getting closer to him will help, but what can I do to get closer to him? And there are beautiful free hearts drawn on this, with a thank you in front of it. My heart just broke. I pray from the bottom of my heart, whoever wrote this question, I pray from the bottom of my heart, the Lord comforts you and grants you your wish.

Now, I pray. I don't know, is it hot? It's hot, eh? It's hot. Maybe we need to turn the other... Look, normally it's my presence.

I'm just a natural hot bishop, you know? People say, bishop, you're good looking. I say, what's new? Tell me any new news, please. This is old.

Okay. So, how can I get closer to the Lord Jesus? Anyone and everyone who has the love of the Lord in their heart, they long and thirst for the Lord Jesus. It's a natural reaction.

But you see, we need to be a bit careful here, because when I say, how can I get closer to the Lord? You see, without maybe noticing, I'm saying, I want to get closer. I want to love you. I want to do things for you.

It's all about me now. The Lord says, without me, you cannot do anything. John 15, 5. Without me, I, Jesus Christ, you cannot do anything.

So when you come and say, I, you want to get close to me, I'll say, you cannot do anything without me. So how can I get closer to you, Lord? All you need to do is just love me like a little child loving the parents. Can you love me like that? In fact, today, we were going to talk about the way of the kingdom, which is being like a little child.

I was preparing for it, and then I don't know what happened. It wasn't meant to be. Maybe another time.

Every time, every time, you come to the Lord, come as a little baby. That's why I desire to carry him as a little baby. Oh, did I cross any theological boundaries? I'm so sorry.

Every time you come to the Lord, Jesus, you must come as a little baby, a little child. You know why? Because if I go to the Lord and I say, Lord, I preached for you, and I made sure that the whole world heard your voice and heard your name. The Lord will say, I don't know you.

I will say, Lord, I built churches for you, and I did this for you, and I did that for you. The Lord will say, I do not know you. Read in Matthew 25, when those five ignorant virgins came too late, the door was shut.

They knocked at the door. What did they say to the Lord Jesus? We preached in your name. We did wonders in your name.

It was all about them. We did it for you. We preached for you.

We brought people to you. The Lord does not recognize people that say, we've done this for you. The Lord will only recognize those who say, I am blind.

I want to see you. I am dead. Please raise me from the dead.

I am hungry. Please feed me. I am homeless.

Please found me. I am lost. Come as a little baby.

When you read in the gospel of according to St. Luke chapter 15, the prodigal son. We may have heard this. We may have read this.

But maybe we may have not paid attention to what the father said about his son who just came back to him again. What did the father say? He said, my son was dead. He said he was dead.

And now he is living again. The father said, the moment my son walked away from me, that very moment he died. Now, the question is, can a dead person think? No.

Can a dead person do? No. Can a dead person change things? No. Can a dead person say, I am sorry.

Forgive me. No. Can a dead person come back to his father? No.

A dead person is dead. Who protected him in that far off country? The father. The son and the Holy Spirit.

God. Who touched his heart? God. Who made him realize his mistake? God.

Who revived his conscience once again? God. Who made him repent? God. Who made him turn around and come back to God? God.

God. I didn't come to church. The Lord brought me.

And since the Lord brought me, guess what? What does that tell me? He loves me. Would you want to see someone you don't love? Of course not. You would die for the moment for your eyes to fall on the person you adore.

Isn't it? You cannot wait to see the person you love the most. Since we are in the church, since we are listening to the word of the Lord, it is the Lord who made this possible. You and all of us better believe in this because this is the truth.

It wasn't me who came. The Lord touched my heart and said, come. It wasn't my friend, my brother, my mother, my sister, my husband, my wife that told me let's go to the church and listen to the preaching.

It was the Lord working through every single one. It's the Lord. Without the Lord, nothing good happens.

Nothing. It's him. So come to the Lord as a baby.

Say, Lord. What does the baby do? When mom or dad, God bless every parent, when mom or dad walk into that baby's room and then the baby goes... And then mommy or daddy walk away from that room and walk outside. World War III erupts.

The baby is gone haywire. Starts crying, there is no tomorrow. All hell breaks loose.

Why? Because daddy walked away from me and left me behind. Daddy runs back to that crying little angel. The moment daddy grabs that baby, it is heaven.

In a blink of an eye, it's heaven. No more cries, no more tears. The smile cannot fit on that beautiful angel's face.

Daddy takes the baby. The baby never questions dad. Where are we going? How long are we going for? Who are we meeting along the way? Never questions daddy.

The same baby grows older. Becomes a teenager. 16, 18, 19, past the teenage life.

20, 21, in their 20s. The same baby who became an adult. And it's the same father.

And it's the same mother. The parent will come to that very baby, who is now an adult. Son, daughter, let's go.

Sorry dad, where are we going? How long are we going to be away? Who are we meeting? Sorry dad, I don't have the time for you. We start questioning. The father says, How come you didn't question me when you were a baby? I'm the same dad.

I'm the same mother. I never changed. You changed, my child.

God says, come to me as a baby. I never change. But when you grow older, you change.

And then, suddenly you don't have the time for me. I don't have the time to go to the church father. I'm too busy.

Trust me father. If I had the time, you would have seen me in the front row every Sunday. You don't have the time? You want to get closer to the Lord Jesus, my beloved? Approach him as a baby.

And as a baby, we are hopeless. We are useless. We are reliant 100% on our parents.

I don't have a say. I don't have a talk. All I care about is I'm with dad.

I'm with mom. Who cares even if dad takes me to hell? So be it. Because it matters not the place.

What matters, I am with dad. Can we be Christians in this way? Like babies. When you come to the Lord, be a baby.

Total reliance on heavenly father. But when you face the world, be the wisest, the sharpest, the most prudent person they could ever come across. Don't ever be ignorant as a baby when you face the world.

But when you face the Lord, say, Lord, with all my PhDs, with all my ranks, with all the big position that I hold and the big throne that I sit on. I am the Pope. Jesus.

I am the patriarch. Jesus. I am the archbishop.

I am the bishop. I am the priest. But when I stand and face the world, I speak where no one can answer me back.

Because it is not you talking. It is your father who art in heaven that talks through you. Be wise.

Be a baby. Be a baby, you'll get the attention of the Lord Jesus. And it's good to thirst and long for the Lord Jesus.

It's very good. It's a very good sign, by the way, even though it's painful, even though it's difficult. Trust me.

I've been there, done it, so many times. Trust me. It's a killer.

The first time when the Lord Jesus comes, it's heaven. You feel him, you see him, you know him, one million percent. And then he disappears.

He doesn't. He makes you feel that he's gone, but he's always with you. But he makes you feel that he is no longer there.

So you go crazy, looking for him everywhere, searching for him everywhere. You go crazy. You know why? Because the Lord does that sometimes, deliberately, out of love.

Because he doesn't want you to get too comfortable with him. Because the moment we get comfortable with our loved ones, life becomes routine. And routine kills love.

You know when you get too used to your dad? At the beginning, dad, dad, I love you, man. I love you. I love you, daddy.

You get used to him after 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, every single day in your face. So after 20 years, oh, dad is coming, I better run away. I'm used to him.

I want something new. To have the relationship always rekindled, renewed, there has to be sometimes a bit of a separation. A bit of a distance, so that you long again.

And you don't get too used to the Lord Jesus where he becomes your cousin all of a sudden. I get scared sometimes when people say, I asked the Lord and he came. And I spoke to the Lord and he came.

And I called the Lord and he came. Straight away. Every time, all the time.

That's a dangerous statement to really say, I don't think so. It doesn't work that way. An over-saved Christian is a kind of dangerous Christian.

So they think all of a sudden Jesus is working for them now. I called him, he came running. Excuse me? Do you know who you're talking about here? The Lord Jesus, do you know what kind of people are below him? This monk went to Mount Athos.

You've heard of Mount Athos, yes? Beautiful Greece. But not so beautiful in the last times where they passed that law. Very disappointed with that government.

Yeah, the rainbow. It's not even the rainbow, but anyway. But for a devout Christian country.

Naughty government. Anyway, Mount Athos was chosen by the Holy Mother. Mount Athos was chosen by the Holy Mother.

Anyway, monastic life there has been over 1100 years. This monk went to Mount Athos. He wanted to be a monk there.

So he didn't even live in the monasteries. There are so many monasteries there. He went in that island, in the wilderness.

And it's a very rugged, tough, tough life to live in that island. In winter, it snows, it's freezing temperatures. And there are some wild animals as well that live in that island.

It's definitely not for everybody. So anyway, there was a calling from the Lord. Chosim, come, you be a monk here.

He said, I lived in the wilderness on my own. 10 or 15 years, not sure. 10 or 15 years, begging the Lord for one appearance.

For one sign. For one thing. He said, I was by myself, a monk, alone in that island, in the wilderness.

Without a whisper from the Lord Jesus. After 10 or 15 years, He sent me a monk. And joined me.

I looked at him, I said, I'm asking to see you Lord. You sent me one of your children. But anyway, thank you Lord Jesus.

You're very kind. And I don't know how many other years went by. Throughout his life, on that holy land.

He saw the Lord Jesus twice. He said, He appeared the first time. Not even a minute.

He said to me, a few words, disappeared. And then years later, He appeared the second time. For a few seconds, without saying a word.

And disappeared. You need to live by faith. You can't see all the time.

Because you see, if you see all the time. Then this is no faith. The Lord is saying.

How come you don't run to the church to receive the body and the blood of Christ. But if you hear an angel appeared in the altar. All of Sydney will come running.

Or holy oil is oozing from the icon. Everybody runs. But Christ himself is on the altar.

Every Sunday. Every holy mass service. It is the creator of the angels.

The creator of miracles. It is Him. But because I don't see Him literally.

What's the point of going? Where is your faith? You need to have faith. It's good to see Him. Trust me, I've been asking Him.

Especially lately, Him. I pray the Lord grants you wish, my beloved. From the bottom of my heart, I mean it.

But, in the meanwhile. Just go to Him as a baby. Enjoy His holy presence.

Enjoy it. And talk to Him. Enjoy it and talk to Him.

Is it still hot? No? It must be me then. I think I'll leave this one alone. Okay.

We'll leave it for another time. There are so many questions. I don't know.

Is this the same handwriting? Has somebody written a hundred questions? How does the orthodox think about speaking in tongues? They don't think about it in any way, form or shape. Speaking in tongues is not the way some people believe in. Look, with all love and respect.

We're not here to offend anyone or judge anyone. But, speaking in tongues in the way of some people think of it. It is not biblical.

It is not. In fact, it is something that started very recent. In the 18th, 19th century again in America.

A lot of things came out of America. One evening, many years back. I was invited to go to this house.

And it wasn't about talking about the Lord Jesus. There was a certain thing to be done. And they needed me to go there.

So, we went there. After we finished what we did. The owners of the house said, Please stay back for a cup of tea with us.

I said, yeah, okay, no worries. So, with all love and respect. So I said, let's pray.

I said, okay. Let's hold hands. Now, in an apostolic, again.

In an apostolic church, we don't do that. We either raise our hands or we bow. There is no holding hands like that.

Anyway, so I went along. You know, wherever I go. Whatever the rules, the guidelines, I follow.

No hard feelings, no problem. I have to respect. So, let's hold hands.

I'm in their home, so I need to respect them. So, I said, hold hands, hold hands, Habibi. No problem.

As long as you feed me tabbouleh and baba ganoush. No problem. And Italian pizza.

Very bellissimo. You know what I mean. So, anyway, we held hands.

And he started saying something very strange. No, no, with love and respect. No, no, with love and respect.

I'm just saying what happened. No, no, I'm literally saying what happened. So, anyway, he started talking like that.

I must say, I felt a bit uncomfortable. I felt there was something not right. But, I was praying in my heart.

I never said anything. And I was talking to my Lord. When he finished, he turned around and he said, I just, before praying, I asked the Holy Spirit to descend upon me and make me speak in tongues.

And then, the Holy Spirit did this for me and I spoke in Aramaic. I said, with all love and respect to you, my dear friend. No, I'm serious.

Honestly, let's be serious about it. I said, with all love and respect, my dear friend, it is not your lucky night tonight because I speak Aramaic. And what you just said now, it is nothing but mumbo-jumbo.

It is not Aramaic. So, he changed color. And then he said, oh, but this is how they taught us.

I said, hang on. You just said the Holy Spirit descended and told you to speak in Aramaic. And now you changed and he said, this is how they taught you.

Is it the Holy Spirit or they? And who is they? I said, look, my dear friend, please take it easy. The language, I'll say this again, the language of heaven, where Satan cannot fathom, comprehend, understand, is L-O-V-E. That is the language of heaven.

God is love. And God speaks the language of love. So now you come and tell me, how is the language of love spoken? Until you live this love, you'll never understand how it is spoken.

You'll never understand. Live that love. Love will teach you how to talk.

There was one in the apostolic era, the first century, where they spoke in tongue. And you see that in the book of Acts chapter 2, when the Holy Spirit descended as tongues of fire on the 120 people who were in that upper room. And the Holy Mother, the love of my life, who was one of those 120 people, when the Holy Spirit filled them, they started speaking in tongues.

And the Holy Bible said what kind of a language they spoke. All earthly. Because the Holy Spirit is the spirit of clarity.

So when they spoke, they started understanding. The Lord was about to send them to the four corners of the world. These disciples lived where they were born, in Israel, in the Middle East, in Palestine.

So they spoke Hebrew, Aramaic, main languages of the time. He was going to send them to China. Ni Hao, doesn't work.

So they need to speak Chinese. They need to speak Arabic. They need to speak Persian.

They need to speak whatever languages are needed for the message of the Lord Jesus to be sent to the four corners of the world. That is speaking in tongues. But you see, when you read 1 Corinthians 13, St. Paul, prior to that in 12, he's talking about speaking in tongues.

But he says, come, I'll show you another way that surpasses all tongues. If I give all my wealth to the poor, and I cast myself in the fire, and I burn myself, and have no love, I am nothing. The supreme ethic is love.

This language Satan cannot understand because he doesn't have it. Because love comes from God. The day you lose God, there is no love.

There is no understanding. So I don't know. I don't know any other language.

And obviously I will see other people that I've never seen on earth. And by the grace of the Lord, I come to know them as well. But those whom I lived with and I've come to know when I see them in paradise, definitely I will recognize that was my mom.

That was my dad. That was my cousin. That was my mother-in-law.

And to prove this, the Lord Jesus gave this parable. He said there was a rich man and there was a poor Lazarus. They both died.

The rich man saw himself in Hades burning and the other one, or tormented, the other one, the poor Lazarus, he saw himself in the bosom of our father Abraham. The one who is in Hades, supposedly to be definitely dead. What did he say? First, he recognized Abraham.

He said, father Abraham, tell Lazarus, he recognized Lazarus, because Lazarus was thrown at the front door of his house on earth. He would see him every day. Every time he walked out, he walked in into the house.

He would not help this poor Lazarus. So he recognized. How did you recognize him? Because my memory is with me.

And then he said, I have five brothers on earth. How do you know that you have five brothers? Because my memory is with me. And this is a true parable.

It's not a parable, but it's a true one, because the Lord mentions the name Lazarus. The Lord doesn't make up stories. The Lord doesn't make up names.

There was definitely one person who lived in Israel and was called Lazarus and he was born. I was a literal person. So this is a live parable.

The Lord just wanted to give a sneak preview of what happens in the next. So, yeah, we will recognize him because our memories are with us. Ah, yes.

Why is Jesus, I think, thumb and third finger used in icons? Is that it? This is the Greek style. It's somewhere like that. They make the sign of the cross this way.

Why is life so hard? Tell me about it. Trust me, I know. Is the temperature okay? It must be mean then.

It looks like today I'm very hot. Why is life so hard? Yeah. Biblically speaking, as Christians, ever since we broke God's word, life became hard.

Ever since we broke God's word, life became hard. There are so many challenges, so many obstacles within and without. From within and from without.

Some of the challenges that come our way is because we don't know everything. There are so many things that are still obscure, unknown. And every time we are placed in a situation where the future is unknown, we become anxious.

We panic. Because I don't know what tomorrow holds for me. I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it tomorrow.

I don't know if I will still have a job. I don't know what the future of my kids is going to be like. I'm looking around, I'm researching, I'm listening, I'm studying.

Things are going very, very left very quickly. And things are going really dark very quickly. And now I'm really anxious.

I don't know how my children will survive in such environment, in such societies, in such world. With all the evil that is happening in the world. And then I have the challenges of my own self.

The struggles. The thoughts that haunt me. I want to sit for a moment in absolute peace and silence.

And every time I sit and I close my eyes, thoughts are running in my head a hundred miles a second, not an hour. And I can't even stop those thoughts. I want that peace.

Every time I say, thank God, it's done. I finished this work. Before I even say it, something else pops up.

Dealing with the marital life, difficult. Dealing with the children, difficult. Dealing with life in general, difficult.

Responsibilities, duties, challenges, financial issues, spiritual issues, mental issues, you name it. Relational issues. With all its colors.

And why is it so hard? I guess it's hard, there is a positive aspect and a negative aspect to it. Maybe, so I don't talk a lot, but maybe the positive aspect is to make me a stronger person, perhaps. If everything was easy going, I'd never learn, I'd never progress, I'd never be a stronger person.

So maybe I need those hard times. Maybe I need those dark tunnels that come my way and go through. I need them because they are good for my well-being, for my growth, for my strength.

Maybe those dark tunnels will lead me to God more than the light. Maybe the failures make me a better person than successes. Maybe failures will teach me more wisdom than successes.

And this is why I should never be the person to define what is right and what is wrong, to define what is good and what is bad, to define what is easy and what is difficult or hard. I need to leave that to God to define it for me. Because what I see is bad, maybe God is saying, this is the only good thing that has ever come your way.

God, why do I have this person in my life? Why did you bring this situation in my life? Why did this happen to me, God? Why? Why? This why is the most commonly used word in our vocabulary. Why? Because we are trying to find out why. And since we are not able to fathom it, we come back and say, I'm not happy with my life.

I don't want it. I reject it. Why are you doing this to me, God? Maybe perhaps we will never know fully on earth, but definitely we'll know why when we go to heaven.

The psalmist King David says, It is the wicked who made my path straight unto you, Lord. It was the wicked, not the saints, not the holy. It was the wicked people.

Those people who gave me hell all my life were the ones who made a man out of me or a saint out of me. A saint out of me. Padre Pio, 50 years he was persecuted by his own church.

50 years. Persecuting him left, right and center. Pushing him aside, persecuting him.

Stopping him from his priestly services. You cannot talk to people anymore. You cannot talk confessions or take their confessions.

You cannot perform your priestly duties no more. They locked him. And he endued and endued and endued for 50 years.

That on its own is a saintly talk. I am a mystery to my own self. Amazing.

Amazing. Amazing. Because he did not understand why.

Why is it so hard, Lord? I don't know. All I know is I want to be with you at the end. You know.

Therefore I trust in the one who is omnipresent, omniscient, the almighty God that knows everything and everyone and is the creator of all. I trust you. When I leave that definition for you, Lord, I will not even try to define it.

Because I don't know. Because I don't know. You know, Lord.

Life is hard. But in a more simple way, when we look now, you know why life has become even harder in our time? One thing, materialism has engulfed humanity. And the other thing, technology.

Technology. I remember when I was, you know, I'm not that ancient. When we were like little kids, we would play with anything so simple.

Toys were simple. You know those Pepsi, Coca-Cola glass bottles? They had those, what do you call them? The caps? When they used to open them, we used to collect them and make wheels out of them. Tires.

Just. We enjoyed the moment. Simple.

Now, without an iPad, iPod, an iPad, it doesn't work. It doesn't work. Technology.

We're at home, we're messaging. We're messaging each other at home. The son is in the room, the mother in the kitchen, the father in the backyard.

Oh, yes. Are you coming? Where are you? Go and talk to them. Why are you sending messages? Face to face, talk to them.

So that human encounter, that personal encounter, that physical encounter became less and less and less and less. You see, I don't need to sit in the car and drive an hour or half an hour to see them. FaceTime them, brother.

We became programmed machines, robots. No feelings, no emotions. This is why we are swimming against the current.

When somebody wants to be nice, they face challenges because there is a thousand voices opposing you. You are looking the black sheep. You are the odd one out of the whole crowd.

We need to come back and stop being enslaved to materialism. Even our weddings, all our social activities became competitions. You know, my friend has a double story house.

How can I live in a single house? That is an absolute embarrassment. I cannot accept living in a single story house and my friend lives in a double story. You better build me a bigger mansion than that.

You better get me a more expensive car than that. You better get me a more expensive diamond ring than that. And what is happening? We became chasing our tails just like the Israelites in the wilderness of Sinai.

They run around, run around for forties without getting to the promised land because the aim was not God. The aim was all about me, me, me, me and then me killed me in the desert of this world. We chase vanity, absolute emptiness.

I am not saying don't have a house. I am not saying don't have a comfortable life. But what I am saying, share it with others.

Don't be greedy. Someone has billions of dollars in the bank account. When will they have the time to eat it all? Never.

The richest man in the world. How much can they eat? When they go to lunch, do they eat gold nuggets? Fish, fries, hamburger, subway, steak. How much are you going to eat? When this is full, that's it.

Why you have all the billions there? Go and do a charitable deed. Go and feed those starving souls out there. Where is the humanity in us? Where is it? We've made it hard on ourselves because Mammon became the God of the century, not the true God.

The Lord Jesus said, You cannot serve two masters. You cannot worship two. It is either God or money.

And Saint Paul says, The love of money is the root of all evil. See, Saint Paul didn't say money is evil. No, he said the love of money.

Because whenever you love something or someone more than God, that thing or that someone becomes your God. Because love was meant to be given to the true divine God, who is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, first, then to others. Love is supposed to be given to God, then to others.

When you love someone more than the Lord, He is your God. When you love money more than the Lord, the money is your God. It is the love that determines where your heart is.

Where your heart is. So, my beloved child, my beloved son and daughter, my beloved faithfuls, be content with what you have and thank the Lord for it. Thank the Lord.

No creature created at all. In Assyrian... No, I won't say that. God gave you this unique ID.

You know why? Because when you love, you love that person. That's it. You are my heart.

You are my love. There is no more room. Adam, your wife is Eve.

You can't have any more of Eve. If you are going to bring Eve and this and that and what kind of a heart is this? Not even a tomato sauce is like that. Your heart has only one place.

This is God's law. One wife. Not more.

Because if you say, I love you and I love you the same, you are lying. There is only one place. There is only one place.

The western world, maybe it's time. The western world has put a system in place where it takes you away from God. I've said this and I'll say it again.

In the east or the middle east, they kill the body. In the west, they kill the spirit. Not the body.

And this is the ultimate death. Because if they kill the body, the spirit survives. But if they kill the spirit, the body is already dead.

So who is dead? When the spirit dies, that person is dead. Not when the body dies. Not when the body dies.

And what kills the spirit? Pride. Pride. Pride.

This, which the holy bible calls Satan, what is he? Spirit. Angel. And he was the highest rank in the angelic order.

The highest rank. What made this highest angelic order to fall from the highest place to the lowest place? Pride. This is about me.

The western world, if you notice, will never talk about family value, all about individualistic lifestyle. It's all about you. Look at the ads.

It's all about you. You want to look good? You want to lose some weight? You want to do this? It's all about you. Have you ever seen any program on media? On mainstream media? Have there been any program speaking about family bond? Never.

You will never find that. Why? Because what makes the spirit live is the family, not individual. Family.

But in the west, they come to this teenager, they have no idea, their right hand from their left hand. They have nothing, no knowledge of what life is all about. They say, listen, when you're 16 and you want to leave home, and then they say, well, because there is domestic violence, but where is the education? Missing.

Have we educated the parents? No, because the parents, when they were children, they were not educated on how to be successful parents. It was missing in the educational system because money talks and love walks away. What we need to do in order to have a successful, prosperous, healthy, happy society is family.

Value. Family. This is what's missing.

In the Middle East, that's where I come from, and I'm proud. But I'm proud to be an Aussie as well. I've said it, and I'll say it again.

I will always pray for my beloved country, Australia. Till the day I die, I will always pray for my beloved country, Australia. I will never, never, ever deny my Assyrian heritage.

I come from Iraq, and I'm proud to be an Iraqi-born. Just like all of you, Lebanese, Italians, Chinese, Vietnamese, whatever country you come from, you should be proud. But love this country because this country also opened the doors and embraced you.

But in the Middle East, we were always taught that when any visitor comes into the house, you do not come out of your room until mommy or daddy call you to come and say hello. Respect. Respect someone who's older than you.

You don't look up to them. When you address your parents, you look down. Respect.

You see, this is missing. This is missing. That's why we've lost track of everything else around us.

We've lost track. Where is that love? Where is that respect? Because the West teaches you, you are free. You go and do as you wish.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Human rights. Value.

Human purpose. Family. Family.

You know, there is not much laughter in our life nowadays. It's very rare, and it comes every now and then. So we need to laugh sometimes.

I never believe, even when you are a Christian, and a true believer of the Lord Jesus, you need to have a very simple approach. Don't ever complicate things. Don't ever think by covering your head and locking yourself behind the doors, and praying fervently, and beating against your chest, and fasting and doing that, you think that this is the way to the Lord Jesus.

No. You could be fasting, you could be praying while talking to people and joking with people. Yeah? The Lord came to make it simple, not complicated.

The Lord came to set you free, not bound you. He set you free. It is okay to laugh, even if you are a good looking bishop.

It is okay to joke. It is okay. But, when you do it with love, because the Lord is joy and happiness, you can't sit with the Lord and be grumpy.

You can't be with the Lord and be miserable. I always say to people that work and serve in the church, when people come from outside into the church and they see these committee members all standing, and you greet them and you say, Hello. If they don't see a smiley face welcoming people, they are going to say there is something wrong here.

Well, if Jesus Christ is happiness, these people definitely are not, so they are not with the Lord then. So they need to go somewhere else and find a happy place, a welcoming place. So we need to be happy.

We need to be joyous. No matter how much problems we have and obstacles and heavy burdens we are, we need to put a smile when we come and speak with the Lord and for the Lord. Amen.

So be happy. Thank the Lord for everything. Doesn't matter what is happening.

Life is hard. My situation is difficult. Leave everything in the Lord's capable hands and trust Him.

Trust Him. Trust Him. He may not change your situation, but He will definitely change you to overcome the situation.

Yeah. So if you keep on focusing on the situation, the Lord is changing you, you have missed out. Trust the Lord and let Him work the way He knows how to work.

Amen. Hallelujah. Give everything to the Lord Jesus and say, My Lord, nothing is mine, everything is yours.

Don't hold on to anything because it is not yours. At the end, we came empty handed from our mother's womb and we will go back to our mother earth also empty handed. Nothing is ours.

Don't ever let anyone, including Satan, to deceive you and say to you, this is yours, fight for it. Hold on to it. Don't let anyone take it away from you.

The only thing you fight for and hold on to with your own blood is Christ, the King. Christ the King. He is your only portion.

This is where you belong. Everything else matters not. As church leaders, we should never fight for thrones.

We should never fight for positions, for authority, for rulership. All of us are followers. None of us are leaders.

The leader is Christ. From the highest rank to the smallest rank are all followers of the Lord. And if any church leader who is supposed to be a follower of the Lord tries to be the leader, he will destroy himself and the flock with him.

Because Satan can devour anyone and everyone no matter how wise, how intelligent, how powerful you are. Nothing stands in the wisdom of Satan outside of Christ. We need the Lord Jesus to make it to the shores of peace and to the heaven of all heavens.

On earth, when I had nothing, I was free. Don't let any materialistic things enslave you. Thank the Lord for what you have and for who you are and the way you look.

Okay, my daughter? You are beautiful. Beautiful the way you are. Don't let any doctor touch your nose.

Don't let. If they want to use the hammer and the chisel, let them use it on their nose, not your nose. And let nobody's nose know what you're doing.

And you know what? It takes a white bead to recognize if it's the voice of the Lord or if it's someone else's. You can tell after your beard goes white. You know it takes a long time.

So when his voice came when he taught me how to recognize his voice I realized it was his voice 100%. And he said why are you looking for me? Remember when you look at yourself you see me because I am you. The day I died on the cross and purchased you with my own blood you became me and I became you.

Lord make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love. Where there is injury pardon.

Where there is doubt faith. Where there is despair hope. Where there is darkness light.

Where there is sadness joy. Oh Divine Master grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand.

To be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
