How to Trust God When Your Life Feels Unfair

Here we go Psalm 32 and verse 11 be glad in the Lord and rejoice you righteous and Shout for joy all you upright in heart Luke 21 verses 18 to 19 But not a hair of your head shall be lost by your patience Possess your souls and all glory be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ forever and ever Amen, we're gonna see today how these two are linked together Psalm 32 11 and Luke 21 18 to 19 in Psalm 32 11, please put the screen back in there again in Psalm 32 11 There are two words in the first part or in the first half of the verse There are two words in the first half of the verse and these two words are number one Be glad and number two rejoice we see that in Psalm 32 11, the first word is be glad and the other one is rejoice and Between these two words the psalmist put the word the Lord Between these two words between glad and rejoice the psalmist put the word the Lord Firstly be glad be glad or be happy Happiness or gladness is Something that is external Happiness is from the outside now rejoice Secondly joy is from the inside so gladness is from the outside and Joy is from the inside and Then the second part of verse 11 Psalm 32 We also find two words in the second part of verse 11 the first word is Righteous and the second word is upright in heart So I'll repeat it again in Psalm 32 verse 11 and the first part half of the verse we find two words Glad and rejoice glad is to do from with external matters so gladness is that comes from outside and Rejoicing or joy comes from the inside from within and then in the second part of verse 11 We find again two words righteous and upright in heart now Righteous and upright in heart now Let us connect these four words glad rejoice Righteous upright in heart. Let us put them together as One verse and let's see how it will read Here we go. Be glad You're righteous and rejoice all you upright in heart in the Lord I'll read it again.

Be glad you're righteous and rejoice all you upright in heart in the Lord We said that gladness is from outside therefore gladness is for the righteous and We said joy is from the inside Therefore joy is to do with the upright in heart so gladness for the righteous and Joy for the upright in heart now, let's link Psalm 32 11 with Luke 21 18 to 19 Now, let's read in Luke 21 18 to 19. So what is so special about the righteous why Bishop? You're saying that the righteous are those who believe in the Word of God aren't we all believers in the Word of God Well my beloved Believing in God's Word is not done mealy through speech It's not done mealy through speech my beloved the Lord gives us or gives you promises always When the Lord gives you a promise Time goes by then you look at yourself and You see your circumstances are totally against the promise God gave you God promised you So you look at your circumstances and what God has promised.

There's no match totally against an example The Lord will come and say I give you this promise You'll be great it'll be a mighty one and then after that I see problems descending upon me from every angle and I see what God promised me to do for me is not what I am really living What I am Experiencing what is going on? Then you sit and start thinking Where is this greatness Lord? You promised me to make me great. I'm being bashed left right and center for this very reason the righteous are Those who Prioritize God's Word over their own feelings I'll say it again. The righteous are those who prioritize God's Word over their own feelings meaning my feelings are sincere in other words when I'm going through a situation and I'm feeling miserable This kind of a feeling is actually sincere.

I'm not making it up. I am miserable I am NOT assuming I am NOT pretending I am NOT imagining I am living through hell right now And I'm feeling it is hell the way I am going at this moment So your feelings are sincere not insincere You are genuine in your feelings Yet I chose to put God's Word before my sincere feelings. God may has promised me to make me great I'm going through hell.

I'm a nobody I'm feeling I'm a nobody. I know I'm a nobody. I'm going through this hell But I still chose to put God's promise before the way I'm feeling.

Are you with me? When you put God's Word before your sincere feelings You are on the path to righteousness Because my beloved when we go through a dark tunnel the first thing we say, where is God? We forget about every promise he made We lose track. We get worried. We get anxious.

We get frightened we get That we have been deserted When I choose God's Word and believe in it This decision will lead me to the second point, which is upright in heart So the righteous one is the one who puts God's promise Before their own feelings or their own sincere feelings when you stick to God's promise Even though it is totally Contradictive to the way you are feeling at this present moment But you still choose to put his word before your sincere feelings This will lead you to the second point. You will be upright in your heart You will be upright in your heart. So now the question is what doesn't mean to be upright in heart Upright in heart my beloved that heart is walking in one path only When you are walking in one path only then it is an upright heart But there is a problem When it comes to the heart Sometimes the heart walks in one path only but there are times the heart walks in More than one path because The heart will walk Depending on how you feel Are you with me? I'm feeling miserable I'm questioning the Lord So now when I am feeling good and loving the Lord the path The heart is walking in one path that is an upright heart But when you start questioning the Lord Why is this happening then the heart begins to walk in more than one path now my beloved When the heart walks in more than one path, what do we call this heart crooked heart Crooked heart Well Elijah the Prophet said it Look at this in first Kings 18 21 and Elijah came To all the people and said how long will you falter? falter means Swing between this side and that side how long will you falter between two opinions if? The Lord is God follow him, but if Bala Bala means Satan, but if Bala But if Bala is then follow him you can't follow the Lord Jesus and Satan You can't be in the church and in the club. You can't praise and swear You can't be in the light and in the darkness.

You need to stop Faltering between these two opinions stick to one. It is either the Lord or Satan So when the heart falters when the heart walks in more than one path, it becomes Crooked Heart not upright anymore Now I will give you an example from the Holy Bible of what an upright heart is all about Are you with me? You guys are too quiet Sometimes I get worried when you are too quiet. It's either you are fully focused or I've lost you Which one is it the former or the latter? the former Hallelujah Jeremiah 2 5 All right, I feel like one of those American, you know preachers Go for it.

I'll give an example from the Holy Bible The Lord Jesus and his disciples in the gospel according to st. In other words truly Then Jesus said to them most assuredly or truly I say to you Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood you have no life in you and like imagine yourself Back in those beautiful blessed days of the Lord and you have been following the Lord because you've heard some wonderful News about Jesus Christ and you got really excited and interested in meeting him so he started following him from this place to that and Before you know it the Lord stopped and start preaching and he said to you Unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood you have no life in you Sorry, eat your flesh drink your blood Man, I want to go home Please leave me alone. This is too much. My head is gonna explode.

What do you mean eat your flesh? This can't happen It's cannot be fathomed by my little minute intellect Lord What are you talking about? Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood you have no life in you this is hanging on between death or life or life or death So if I don't eat your flesh and drink your blood I'm dead, but I can't do it Lord And I want to live. What are you doing to me? Look at this my beloved All those who walked with the Lord Jesus were called disciples All those who walked with the Lord Jesus were called disciples None of them and I mean none of them Believed in what the Lord just said in John 6 53 the entire Disciples none of them believed or nor accepted what Christ Spoke in John 6 53 you need to eat my flesh and drink my blood None of them believed in it. In other words the disciples who do not did not believe were that twelve apostles and Other disciples all of them are called Disciples a follower of Jesus Christ is a disciple.

So in the midst of those people were the twelve apostles also Simon Peter Philip Andrew Nathanael you name them the all twelve none of them Believed in what Jesus just said However, the twelve apostles Decided To stay with the Lord the twelve apostles Decided to stay with the Lord and all the other Disciples left him and walked away. They said those who walked away. They said This is a hard saying Who can understand it? What do you mean eat your flesh and drink your blood? This is a hard saying Jesus.

No one can understand Now who were those who left the Lord and walked away from him? Who were they? I'll tell you who they were the 5,000 men not including the women and the children where the Lord Jesus performed that miracle by Multiplying the two fishes and the five loaves of bread. He fed 5,000 men not including women and children. They were in the thousands When he fed them with those two fishes and five loaves and there was extra left over they Followed the Lord Jesus because this miracle blew their mind away They followed him shortly thereafter the Lord Jesus says To all of them unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood You have no life in you all of them walked away from him Except that 12 Apostles 5,000 men not including women and children Each man has a wife That's another 5,000 women Man, that's difficult So five ten thousand children There would have been maybe at least twenty thousand people All twenty left the Lord because he said you need to eat my flesh and drink my blood That just shows you how much you need to rely on people One day they love you the next day will deny you One day they'll glorify you the next day wipe the floor with you When you rely on people outside of Jesus Christ of Nazareth There is no relationship The Lord must be the foundation to everything They followed him they worshipped him they adored him Few hours ago later on all of them denied and walked away from him except the 12 now listen to this Except the 12 they decided to stay the 12 Apostles stayed But their eyes were saying they are in disbelief of What you just said Jesus so they remained but the Lord Jesus looked at their faces looked at their eyes and He could read what's in their heart, even though I mean he's God he knows but by looking at their eyes was enough to know that what their heart is saying is Totally different to what their action is really saying you stayed with me, but your eyes are saying you're not believing in me But you chose to stay Incredible even though you did not believe even though you did not fathom it, but you decided to stay with the Lord Regardless they stayed back because in John 6 67 in John 6 67 It says then Jesus said to the 12 To the 12 Apostles then Jesus said to the 12.

Do you also want to go away? Hmm you want to go I can see it in your in your eyes. I can see it written on your faces Do you want to go please do be my guest? Do you also want to go away? You have the words of eternal life Lord to whom shall we go you're saying do you want to go also you're asking us to go I'm asking you Lord. Where shall we go? Because we've realized that the words of eternal life are only with you They are nowhere else to be found but in you even though you speak eternal Words eternal life your words are eternal life even though you speak And we believe that your words are eternal life yet We understand nothing yet we fathom nothing yet We comprehend nothing, but we chose to stay because in you life eternal lies That is an upright hearts reply my beloved now question Who can remain with the Lord Jesus while failing to grasp his words? I'll ask it again who can remain with the Lord Jesus yet They are Understanding nothing of what he is saying Who can remain with the Lord Let me put it this way when you go to a place, and you don't understand anything. Are you going to stay there or? Are you going to leave? I'm asking you come on You leave isn't it.

It's only normal. It's only natural to leave because I'm not relating. I'm not understanding Why should I go and stay in a place where I'm understanding nothing the moment? You don't understand you pack yourself and leave and you will never go back to that place ever again true or not true or not Now when you go to the Lord Jesus and follow him live with him live for him And you become a true disciple of the Lord Jesus You will not understand what the Lord is saying what the Lord is doing yet You'll remain with him How are you able to remain with him yet? You don't understand anything from him who can tell me? The only way is to be patient by your patience possess your souls Through your patience gain your souls through your patience gain Salvation possess your soul meaning You will deliver yourself if you have patience with the Lord Are you with me? Christ's glory you better be patient on earth in order to gain glory at the end Since we are living in the kingdom of Christ and his patience then he who endures He who is patient endures to the end shall be saved Matthew 24 13 The Lord Jesus said it he who endures endures meaning being patient he who endures till the end will be saved Matthew 24 13 my beloved so many times Things come our way Sent by the Lord Jesus.

Let me tell you this not every Thing that comes your way is from Satan the Lord sends it But please don't blame Satan all the time. You have to be fair even when it gets to your enemy Be fair with him. Give him a break Yeah, so there are things that come our way.

We think it's from Satan, but no it is directly from the Lord himself So many things come our way from the Lord Jesus yet, we are not convinced by them We are not convinced by them. So what happens we keep on asking Why did the Lord do this? Why did the Lord allow for this? Why did the Lord break my heart? I Was gonna marry Rachel and And he took Rachel away from me yet I begged him I prayed For two years to marry Rachel. Well, you didn't do as well as our father Jacob our father Jacob he begged the Lord for 14 years to marry Rachel So I begged the Lord.

I wanna marry Rachel. I begged the Lord I wanted to pass the exam and I failed I didn't get what I wanted Why did the Lord break my heart? Why why why is a word never stops never stops being invoked by these lips Why? I thought I knew so-and-so I thought I was going to be prosperous I said I'm gonna pray because this is what we hear from the church leaders from the preachers Ask and it shall be given to you pray and you shall receive well, I prayed and I asked and everything I received was totally contradictive to my Way of thinking this is why whatever the circumstances are where you can't make any sense of them Don't you dare move and walk away from the Lord Jesus like many disciples did like many disciples did You need and must believe that he is Jesus Christ that he is the only one who can bring you into his kingdom You need and must believe that Jesus Christ is the only One who can bring you into his kingdom for he is the way the truth and the life John 14 6 you must believe in this and Let your heart be upright and follow him in other words Who is that? Upright heart is the heart that walks in one path and that path better be Jesus Christ That is an upright heart when you follow in the footsteps of the Lord Jesus For there is only one way there is not many ways All roads leads to Rome Sorry All people worship the same God.

Sorry. I always recall Padre Pio in this instance And I'm sure I'm sure many Saints would have said the same thing But I just happened to see to watch his movie and Out of that entire movie, I don't know how long it was two and a half hours. I can't remember It was a beautiful movie about his life story But one thing is is engraved in the crevices of my soul engraved there I will never forget it and every time I Remember Padre Pio and I pray it's always and every time I speak about Padre Pio Only one thing out of the entire movie comes to mind at the very last day of his life on earth This bishop who was sent by the Vatican to go and make sure that Padre Pio is not a fake Christian because he had the stigmata Appeared on his body. The Lord Jesus said I'm gonna give you my wounds for 50 years.

He carried them 50 years pain unbearable non-stop 24-7 for 50 years So they sent this bishop to say that you're a fake this bishop gave Padre Pio a barbecue treat The last day Padre Pio was passing away. He was exhausted the bishop said For God's sake tell me who are you? I Want to have my own rest as well. I want to have closure to this case.

I Am I'm losing sleep. I'm losing my mind. Tell me Pio.

I know it is me, but it's that child this person now No, I don't know who I am compared to that child when I was a young man I don't know who I am now compared to that young man because when I followed the Lord what the Lord had done in my life my Intellect cannot fathom but I chose to remain with him Even though I understood nothing what the Lord was doing in me, but I trusted in the Grand Weaver. I Trusted in the Grand Weaver that whatever he's doing yet.

I'm not understanding. It is all good at the end It's all good It's all good. And The Lord Jesus says to Padre Pio to me and to all of us in John 13 7 What I am Doing you do not understand now, but you will know After this what I am doing now You do not understand but you will later you will later when I bring you home And then you'll understand why all of those things came your way my beloved Things now may be difficult and may seem unfair Things now in your life may be to somewhat degree very difficult and They may seem very unfair But at the end you will understand You will understand one how the Lord dealt with you to in Order to save you three and bring you to the father's house Later you will understand how the Lord dealt with you in order to save you and bring you to his father's house When you realize this afterwards While you're in heaven with the Lord You will say this was definitely Unbelievable.

This was definitely unbelievable How God Puts things together Unbelievable how God operates Unbelievable how God thinks unbelievable how God walks unbelievable how God moves on Believer bull I was trying while on earth frantically to get some sort of an insight Clarification of what is happening in my life yet and I blamed God so many times Why are you doing this to me? Why are you so difficult with me? You look you seem like an enemy to me. You don't want your daughter to be happy God. What's wrong? You don't want your son to be successful Why why why why not realizing God did it so perfectly so eloquently so majestically to bring you home So when he did it end up marrying Rachel Thank him Actually speaking of this not marrying Rachel I just want to tell you this joke just to break the ice a little bit.

The Lord is saying be perfect Just as your father in heaven is perfect. You want to make it to heaven? you need to be perfect like God and the only one who can perfect you and make you perfect like God is the hands of the Good Shepherd Weaving you together and bringing you into perfection so that you can enter God's kingdom So let him do it.

You're not gonna make me king and then another occasion the Lord Jesus fed thousands of people they came chasing him and They were intending to making him king over their life. They said if he becomes our king, we're not gonna starve anymore We know we don't need to work anymore because whatever we need he'll give us looks like this guy is a miracle doer So we make him king and we will live like kings The Lord Jesus said to them you did not follow me because you believed in me, but because your tummies got filled.

I Don't want people like that to be king over Why the Lord Jesus rejected both offers from Satan and people why because the Lord Jesus says my father Is the one who made me king? Not you Satan not you people. It was my father who made me king He made me king long time ago. Look at this song Psalm number 2 verses 6 to 8 look at look at King David He says yet.

I have set my king over my holy hill of Zion Yet I have set my king on my holy hill of Zion who is speaking here God the father yet. I have set my king on my holy hill of Zion I will declare the decree the Lord has said to me You are my son the Lord has said to me. You are my son So who is the Lord God the father said to Jesus Christ the Son of God you are my son Today I have begotten you ask of me and I will give you the nations for your inheritance and the ends of the earth for your possession and I have set my king on My holy hill of Zion God the father made Jesus Christ king over all long time ago God the father promised My son, you will be king over all nations the Lord Jesus was patient with the father's promise The father said you are my son.

You'll be king over all nations The Lord Jesus was patient with this promise When did the Lord Jesus become king when he was Well done when the Lord was nailed on the cross That moment he reigned that moment he reigned So God the father said you'll be king but through the cross why Why can't I just be king with glory By the cross he did not question the Lord Jesus said Not everyone who says Lord Lord shall enter the kingdom of God, but he who does the will of my father shall enter I Came to do the will of my father the will of whom Has sent me I came to live not for me But for my father then whatever my father has chosen for me into in my path. He got upset Somebody slapped him he got hurt. He cried. He was hungry.

He had to sleep like a human being So he had human feelings But he chose to put God's Word before his own feelings. That's why he was glad always righteous and Because he was righteous it led him to the second point Upright in heart his heart walked in only one way the father's way No other way not his way not anyone else's not Satan's not humans Not his own but his dad's way. That's why he rejoiced He rejoiced and Because he was patient with the father's will he gained His soul at the end The father raised him from the dead in glory the father raised him from the dead in glory those who Ridiculed him made fun of him Spattered him kicked him punched him dragged him in the streets of Jerusalem on Good Friday all of them trembled and fell From their thrones on Sunday resurrection one will say I'm not happy in my marriage.
