Lord, I ask that you bless the tape message, that for those who will hear it in the future in other places, that God, that you would impress upon their hearts the gravity of the hour that we live in, and how much what I'm about to share tonight is breaking your heart, this very hour that we're living in. Lord, surely there is a cause, surely there is something that we can do. Lord, speak to each one of our hearts, individually in this house tonight. Let none of us escape, no more excuses, no more reasons. Lord, may we hear your word, may it go deep. Holy Spirit, I can't deliver this that you put upon my heart in my own strength. I don't have enough wisdom, I don't have enough strength. Lord, I don't even know how. It's got to come from you, it has to come from your heart. Jesus, hide me tonight, hide me. Hide me and be lifted up. And speak now, sovereignly. I invite you, Holy Spirit, to lift up Christ and speak sovereignly. Speak sovereignly to this church body, to every life, to every heart. Speak sovereignly to those who will hear this message in the future. Speak sovereignly. Oh Jesus, I thank you for this tonight. Truly your word is marching forward with unprecedented strength. Help us to understand your heart and where you're going, that we may follow in your footsteps. We thank you for this tonight, in Jesus' name. Amen. The Aaron ministry, Exodus chapter 4, beginning at verse 10. I'm sharing something tonight that God put on my heart late last night. Something that is a grief to the heart of God. I'm only touching, I'm only touching the hem of the grief that's in the heart of Christ tonight. And as such, I feel completely inadequate to speak this word. But if you look beyond the vessel tonight and just let the Holy Spirit speak to your heart, there's a grief in the heart of God. A deep, deep grief in the heart of God. And yet he also has a plan. And that plan involves you and me. Let's make our lives open tonight. Exodus chapter 4, verses 10 to 16, the Aaron ministry. And Moses said unto the Lord, Oh my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant. But I am slow of speech and of a slow tongue. The Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? Or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Have not I the Lord? In other words, God's saying to Moses, What are you looking at your lack of ability for? Do you not realize who it is that's speaking to your heart? Do you not realize it's me, it's God? That I have made everything that there is and I can take any man that calls out unto me and I can change him, I can make him a new creature. I can put words in your mouth, Moses. I can use you in ways that you never dreamt were possible before. Now, therefore, go. He says in verse 12, And I will be with your mouth. I will be with you, Moses. Go. And I'll teach you what you should say. I'll teach thee what thou shalt say. In verse 13 he said, And oh my Lord, he said, Send I pray thee by the hand of whom thou wilt send. In other words, Moses is saying, This is a wonderful thing that you're speaking, and I hope that you certainly find a man that's capable of doing it. In verse 14, it says, The anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses. And he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee. And when he shall see thee, he will be glad in his heart. And thou shalt speak unto him and put words in his mouth. And I will be with thy mouth and with his mouth and will teach you what you shall do. And he, that's Aaron, shall be thy spokesman unto the people. And he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth. In other words, Aaron was going to be in the place of Moses' lack of ability to speak. And thou shalt be to him instead of God. An incredible scenario, an incredible introduction to the ministry of a man called Aaron. And the beginning, I believe, of a ministry that has gone down through the ages and sad to say is prospering mightily in America today. The Lord became angry with Moses because Moses was not willing to respond to the call that he was putting upon his life. And it was at this point that Aaron enters the ministry of deliverance to God's people. Just as today, there are many men called who have chosen to focus on their own needs, their circumstances, their inadequacies. They've failed to heed the call and they've given rise to the modern day Aaron ministry that is plaguing so much of the church of Jesus Christ. A modern ministry has arisen with no heart for God. You see, the Lord said to Moses, he will be your mouth but you will be as God unto him. In other words, he's going to go with you but he doesn't hear from me. He can't hear from me. There was something in this man's life that brought him into continual reproach before the Lord and caused him to lead the people in ways that they shouldn't go. I was speaking with a man, he was a friend of mine several years ago, who after a long series, a long, many, many years of pastoring, finally had the courage to search his heart. And the Lord spoke something to him. He had been pastoring a church for many years and the Lord spoke to his heart. And I thank God for him because he finally had the courage to say, I was never called to pastor a church. Everything I've put my hand to, it hasn't really prospered the way it should and it's been a continual difficulty in my life. And I was speaking with him and I said, well, how did this happen in your life? How did you end up in the ministry? And he said words to this effect. He said, it just was the thing to do. You see, in North America, we have been in probably in our third decade now of relative ease and prosperity and the churches have not been under persecution to any great degree and so it just became the thing to do. He came from a large Pentecostal background and he said everybody went to Bible college. All my friends went to Bible college. We went there for two, three years. He said then the most talented and the ones that had the best presentation at the end of three years of college got the better churches. And he said the lesser talented people were sort of left to dig out and fend for themselves. They finish school, they send out resumes all over the country to churches. You see, this is what we've come to in this hour that we're living in. I was talking to a senior pastor one time about a year, maybe a year and a half ago. He shared with me that he was looking for an associate minister. He let it be known in his denomination. And then the resumes started coming in the mail and then one by one the men that he contacted started coming. And they sat before his desk. He's an older man. He said, I was dumbfounded. He said, they sat before me and before I had a chance to say anything to them they said, I want three weeks holidays. I won't come here for less than such and such amount of money. I need a house. I need all of this. I need that. You see, that's the Aaron ministry. These are just good idea men who just have gone through the system. There's no call of God on their lives. They're not impassioned. There's no passion for Christ upon their lives. They don't consider it a privilege just to be able to stand and speak His name. Aaron went simply because of his ability. They're good speakers. They're good presenters. They send resumes. What an awful situation. And now, these men 15, 20 years ago that came in as associates are now leading churches all over the country, all over the continent now. Men without a heart for God, but they're well presented. They borrow ideas from other people and they preach liturgically perfect three-point sermons that have no life in them. I remember going to a minister's meeting in the city where I used to belong and I left there and I went home. I said to my wife, I don't understand these men. They're pastoring some of the very large churches but the one thing that marks them is they are passionless. They're passionless in their prayers. They're passionless in their messages. They're passionless in their conversation. They don't even seem to have a heart for God. Aaron was well presented and well spoken. The Lord in His anger said to Moses, He said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. You see, but God hadn't chosen Aaron because of his good speaking ability. There was something in his heart that wasn't right. But the deadly fact about Aaron is that he didn't hear from God for himself. There's an exodus again. I'll read it to you. 416 says, He said to Moses, He said, He will be to you instead of a mouth, but thou shalt be to him instead of God. Now we go on. After the children of Israel have been delivered, you know the story. From Egypt and they go out into the wilderness and Moses now is up in Mount Sinai. God's meeting with him there. He's receiving the Ten Commandments, the Law. And it was a season where the word of the Lord hadn't been heard. Moses was there. Aaron's left in charge of the people. Now Moses has gone to the top of the mountain to meet with God. It's only been days since Moses has been gone and the murmuring starts to the people. Aaron's left in charge and he doesn't know what to do because he can't hear from God. He's cut off from God. He's not called to be where he is. Not that he's not a good man. Not that he wouldn't have made a good usher somewhere in the back ranks of Israel. But he wasn't called to be where he was. He was there because somebody else wouldn't fully respond to the call. That's what gave rise to the Aaron ministry. And in Exodus chapter 32, verse 1, Aaron now is left to himself. Moses is in the mountain. The word of God has become scarce and he has no intimate communion with God. And in verse 1 it says, When the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron and said unto him, Come up, make us gods, which shall go before us. For as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we want not, or we don't know, what has become of him. And Aaron said to them, Break off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons, your daughters, and bring them to me. And the people break off the golden earrings which were in their ears and brought them unto Aaron. And he fashioned them at their hand and fashioned it with a graving tool after he had made it a molten calf. And they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it. And Aaron made a proclamation and said, Tomorrow is a feast unto the Lord. Aaron was left to himself. Aaron was not able to communicate with God. And so he turned to the gods of this world and he fashions a god of gold, a god that caters to the lust of the people. And the very first thing he did was build an altar before this false god that he had carved, made of the gold of the lust of the people to cater to their lusts. And he proclaimed a feast. Tomorrow is a feast unto the Lord. And that's the sign of the Aaron ministry. Carving out gods of gold in society, creating a gospel that ministers to the lust of the people, challenges virtually no one, doesn't lay forward the claim of Christ upon people's lives, requires absolutely no cost. There's no repentance to this gospel. There's no cross or very, very little. There's just token mention of the cross and repentance, but there's very little reality. There's no word. There's a lot of stories. There's a lot of talk about signs and wonders and sensory experiences. The word is cast aside. And all of a sudden an altar is built and a continual feast. That means it's going to get better and better, folks. There are prophets out there that are crying gloom and doom and judgment is coming to America. But no, sir, it's going to get better and better. A continual feast. We're just going to feast, we're going to relax, we're going to worship, we're going to dance, we're going to sing, and soon everything is going to be all right. Does that sound familiar to some of you who've come through the wilderness? Listen to the prophets that cry against it. Zephaniah chapter 3. If you can turn there quickly. Zephaniah chapter 3. The prophet Zephaniah cries out against this ministry. In verse 1, he says, Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city. She obeyed not the voice. She received not correction. She trusted not in the Lord. She drew not near to her God. Her princes within her are roaring lions. Her judges are evening wolves. They gnaw not the bone till the morrow. Her prophets, verse 4, are light and treacherous persons. Her priests have polluted the sanctuary. They have done violence to the law. We see a likeness now arising in the church of North America, a treachery, a carnal, a light treating of the things of God, a mockery of those who still preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Now go to Jeremiah. Go back to Jeremiah. Just after Isaiah. Jeremiah chapter 14. You hear the prophet Jeremiah also cries out against this. Jeremiah chapter 14, beginning at verse 13. Then said I, Ah Lord God, Behold the prophets say unto them, You shall not see the sword, neither shall you have famine, but I will give you assured peace in this place. Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither speak unto them. They prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, a thing of not, of the deceit of their own heart. Therefore thus said the Lord concerning the prophets that prophesy in My name, and I sent them not, yet they say sword and famine shall not be in this land. By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed. The apostle Paul says in 1 Timothy chapter 6 and verse 5, These are perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds. They are destitute of the truth. Supposing that gain is godliness, from such withdraw thyself. The Aaron ministry has a discipleship focus. You'll always hear a lot about discipleship in the Aaron ministry. And I want to remind you though that Aaron raised two sons. Nadab we heard about this afternoon and Abihu. Two sons that offered strange fire before the Lord. And the Lord met them with the true real fire of His presence and consumed them in the tabernacle. They offer strange fire before the Lord because they've never known the fear of the Lord. And they've never possessed within them the true heart of God. These disciples are just doing what they've been taught to do. I had a phone call last week and I've been told that there's a certain group in the church of Jesus Christ now that are sending out emissaries or ambassadors, disciples of their midst going into other congregations and teaching them how to set an atmosphere so that manifestations will begin to occur in their midst. Teaching them how to set an atmosphere. Not how to seek God. Not how to cry out to the Lord. Not how to repent. Not how to begin prayer meetings. But how to create an atmosphere that's conducive to sensory manifestations beginning to happen in their midst. Strange fire going into the house of God. These disciples who never really knew the fear of the Lord. They never really possessed within them the true heart of God. Disciples of the Aaron ministry. The modern day Aaron ministries have arisen because of those who have been truly called of God failed to respond to that call. I believe that with all of my heart. That God has never left Himself without a testimony. He's never left Himself without a witness. It has never been the will of God that this should ever have happened to His church. Especially in this generation we're living in. There has always been a call of God. There's always been a cry of God. There have always been people that He's been reaching out to. There have always been people like Moses. And Isaiah. And Jeremiah. There have always been Esther's that He's been reaching down to and calling and calling and calling. But sad to say in the last 2, 3, 4 decades in North America it seems that the people have been so consumed. One says, well I've bought myself a farm. I cannot go. I can't go for you Lord. Another says, well I've got a wife. I can't go. I've got a great job in the city. I can't possibly leave that to do what you called me to do. And all of the Moses that were called. So many. God has spoken this message to my heart. So many that He's called over the last 3 decades. Refused to go. And because they wouldn't go. The errands. There is an errand waiting in the woodworks for every Moses who will not go. For every man, every woman who won't respond. There's one who will go. But they're not the scent. They're called the wint. There is a difference. They're well spoken. They're polished. They're well presented. But I want to tell you something. You raise up a holy man or woman of God filled with the fire of God and the contrast between the two is so different that the people will begin to turn like they did in the day of Elijah. We've got to pray like we never prayed before. As we gather to pray. God raise up Elijah's again in the land. Raise up men and women that are not looking at their own frailties. But they're looking at God. The one who created them. He's the one that's able to make them stand and fill them with the fire of His Holy Spirit and put words in their heart and words in their mouth. God raise up men again who will stand if they haven't got a... If the churches won't have them, have them do like John Wesley and George Whitefield. Have them stand in the field and preach to the people. You see, your calling, Paul says, brethren, your calling, how not that not many wise after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things that are mighty. And the base things of the world and things which are despised or the lower things in the eyes of man has God chosen. And things which are not to bring to naught, or in other words, to bring to nothing, things that are that no flesh should glory in His presence. My brothers, my sisters, don't ever limit what God can do through your life. Don't make the mistake that Moses made. Moses looked at himself and said, I'm not eloquent. I'm of a slow tongue. I'm not a good speaker. Oh God, the deliverance You talk about is mighty. Do it by the hand of the man that You will send. And God saw that Moses had a disbelief, an unbelief in his heart. And because of it, Aaron was raised up. And Aaron caused nothing but grief to God, to Moses and to the people of Israel from that day forward. The Aaron ministry was born. A ministry of polish and perfection. A ministry of tremendously good presentation. But a ministry that doesn't know the heart of God. They failed to go. And so out comes the slick presenter, driven of winds. These men are driven of winds. They don't have a hold of the heart of God. And so everything that comes through, I heard recently, a person called me and was, or called my wife and was distressed. And apparently the leadership in the church that they attend had gotten up and said, there's a new wave now, of some new thing. Now, don't even try to figure out what it is. It could be anything. We've had so many waves in the last two decades. There's a new wave. It's in England now. And thus and thus and thus is happening through this wave. And we're waiting now because it's coming. Any day it's going to come here. This new wave is coming our way. You see, it's just other men's ideas. It's just another false wind. And because they don't have a hold of the heart of God, they just sit there and wait for the next wind to come in. There's no reflective presence of Jesus. There are no windows in the church and every wind of doctrine just flies through. And what's ever in the air, they reach up and grab it and pull it down and begin to preach it as if it's their own. They're always building on other men's ideas. They're always building on what the other Aaron ministry throughout the world has laid a hold of. A whole group of ministers who don't know the heart of God. They've never laid hold of Him. The Aaron ministry has pioneered in this generation. The self, the success, the positive confession and the prosperity gospel. They've all come from the Aaron ministry in our generation. The Aaron ministry has stripped the people of the true armor of God and left them naked before their enemies. Moses came down from the mountain in Exodus 32, 25 and it says, Moses saw that the people were naked for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies. It's a gospel of likeness and treachery. Jeremiah said it this way, They say still unto them that despise me. The Lord has said, You shall have peace. They say to everyone that walks after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you. My brethren, there was a time a few years ago that somebody told me where I was that a great prophet, a great man of God, sadly to say from the United States, had come to Canada that I needed to go and hear him. He was a prophet. He declared himself to be a prophet and they said you really need to go hear him. I was not in the habit of going to too many of these things but they pressed upon me and said, You need to go. And I went that night and the longer I sat in that service, the more grief came upon me. I was grieved. I didn't even know why but there was a deeper and deeper and deeper grief. And then finally this man got up. He spoke a word. It was not overly challenging but it was not in error either. It seemed to be a reasonable word. You see these men will always mix truth with their error. And then it came time to prophesy over people's lives. And you wouldn't believe the number of churches that gathered together for this thing. It came time to prophesy and they said, Now Brother So-and-so is going to prophesy over people's lives. He's a prophet, you know. And they said you can come here and nobody has to be afraid. Brother So-and-so never prophesies anything but nice things over people's lives. And then all of a sudden the people get up and they start coming forward and you're going to have a miracle ministry and you're going to do this. People full of rebellion in many cases is written all over their faces. Distant from God. If a true prophet of God had walked into that place they would have fallen on their faces or run out the back door. A true prophet of God if he had stood in my counsel Jeremiah the Lord said through Jeremiah they would have shown the people their sin and turned them from the error of their ways. Lightness and treachery. And the people loved to have it so just like the prophet said. Such a grief to the heart of God. They'd come by the hundreds. They'd come by the thousands to hear this bag of wind prophesying nice things over the people. And really profound things. Like you've got a six on your driver's license just like the amazing Kreskin used to do years ago on television. A spiritual Kreskin. There's such a lack of discernment because the people have sat under the Aaron ministry for so long. They don't know what the truth is anymore. The Aaron ministry is leading the people of God in this generation into the realm of sensory experience and manifestations far away from the heart of God. They've crafted and fashioned their own God. The present day Aaron ministry fearing the people more than God are the present architects of the user-friendly churches the politically correct Bibles and the no-cost Gospels now sweeping across America. We are living in the day of the Aaron ministry. Now back in Exodus chapter 32 verse 21 And Moses said unto Aaron What did this people unto thee that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them? And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my Lord wax hot. Thou knowest the people that they are set on mischief. For they said unto me, Make us gods which will go before us for as for this Moses the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt we want not what is become of him. And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold let them break it off. So they gave it me then I cast it into the fire and there came out this calf. Isn't that something? I cast it into the fire and out popped this calf. I saw a television interview of one of the modern day architects of error and he said this and listen to how familiar it sounds. He said, well we were just going about our business as usual not doing anything different not asking for anything in particular then all of a sudden bingo one day things just began to happen. Out popped this calf. We weren't doing anything. And Aaron was a liar. He had fashioned this calf to satisfy his own need to see a God that he could touch in no other way. And this man also is a liar. Because I happen to know that they had been spending many many months fashioning trying to create an atmosphere promoting an atmosphere where physical manifestations would occur and take place. They had set their hand to fashioning this calf for many many many months and even years. It didn't just happen. They were working on it for a long time. Out popped this calf. Finally Moses says he stood in the gate of the camp in verse 26 in Exodus 32 and he said who is on the Lord's side? Let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. Who is on the Lord's side? That's what the Lord is speaking to this generation. There's a voice. There's a word that's beginning to go out now again across the land. All men have an invitation to hear. Hebrews 4.16 says Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. The veil has been ripped in two by the shed blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And any man, any woman with an honest heart can now come in and hear from God for themselves. Who's on the Lord's side? Who's tired of all of the foolishness? Who's tired of all of the sensory illusion? And wants a genuine saving relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? In verse 27 it says He said unto them Thus saith the Lord God of Israel Put every man his sword by his side. In other words cover your nakedness. Pick up your sword that you laid down somewhere. Get the word of God once again and get it into your heart and get it into your life. Turn away from all of this foolishness. Now I realize that this word tonight is for well beyond the walls of this church and I know it's going out on tape to different places. But it may also apply to somebody who's here tonight who's wandered in and you're stuck in all of this illusion and you wonder where your life is going and you wonder if God has a plan for your life. And God's calling to you tonight and saying put on your sword. Cover your nakedness. There was a church in Revelation chapter 3 that said they were rich and creased in goods and had a need of nothing. But He said to them in 318 I counsel you to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, white raiment that thy nakedness may not appear, that you may be clothed and the shame of your nakedness does not appear. In other words, get back to the word of God again. Dig in this book by the power of the Holy Spirit and say oh God, examine my heart. Prove Me. Try Me. Change Me. Rebuke Me. Reprove Me. Let the nature of Christ be formed in Me. God I'm not going to look at my own weakness anymore but I'm choosing to look at Your strength. If You call me I'm not going to flee the call but oh God I'm going to go and I'll stand and I'll speak Your word oh God with every ounce of strength that You put within my body. Ephesians chapter 6 The Apostle Paul says that we're to put on the whole armor of God. Put on the whole armor. Ephesians chapter 6 This is the end of side 1. You may now turn the tape over to side 2. My brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil flesh and blood but against principalities against powers against the rulers of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand. Stand therefore having your loins girt about with truth. In other words having the truth of this book deeply embedded within your interior parts not just in your mind but in your heart. And having on the breastplate of righteousness. In other words make sure the righteousness you have is of Christ make sure it's of Christ alone. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Not like Moses who was so hesitant to go and because of his hesitancy allowed the birth of a ministry that was a grief to the people of God. But have your feet shod. Have your confidence not in yourself but have your confidence in Him. And be ready to go. Brothers and sisters there's coming a day when the call of God is going to be perfected and fulfilled and etched in every one of our lives. A day of turmoil and distress is coming upon the whole world like we never knew it before. It's not a day to be hiding. It's not a day to be looking for somebody else to make some kind of a slick presentation. It's an hour and a day for the weak the nobodies the nothings of society that have nothing but a wholehearted confidence in God to rise up in the power of the Holy Ghost. Stand on a soapbox in Times Square if you have to and preach the saving gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and fight for the souls of men and fight for the honor of God. Put every man, he says, his sword by his side. Put on the whole armor of God and above all taking the shield of faith wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Take the helmet of salvation the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and all supplication for all saints. Then back in Exodus 32 he goes on he says Moses stood in the gate of the camp said, Who is on the Lord's side? Let him come unto me and all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. Verse 27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel Put every man his sword by his side go in and out from the gate to gate throughout the camp and slay every man his brother and every man his companion and every man his neighbor. In other words the Lord is speaking to this generation I'm raising up a holy remnant bride that are going to know me they're going to love me they're not going to be part of the Aaron ministry anymore they're going to come out from under the slick presentations of men that don't have a heart for God they're going to begin to seek me for themselves they're going to begin to cry out to me and they're going to say you are my God and I'm going to say to them you are my people there's going to be a revelation an ever deepening revelation of Christ in the heart of this bride that God is calling out of this generation and through the preaching of the word the revelation of Christ this ministry shall go forward the nobodies the nothings of society the weak the bumbling the stumbling so empowered by the grace of almighty God that the ministry of flesh shall be slain in their midst the ministry of flesh shall fall people will begin to see that there's a difference between the spirit and the flesh there's a difference between the children that are born of the spirit and the children who minister in the flesh there's a difference between those that have good ideas and those who have the heart of God the very spirit of God embedded within their lives hallelujah this bride is going to be an impassioned bride she's going to love him with all of her heart the prophet Isaiah said in the midst of the fires in the midst of the calamities in the midst of the difficulty she's going to be filled with all and while everybody else is running around looking for some new theory some manifestation to help them get through the difficult times she's going to be raising up her voice and say this is our God here he is I have waited for him we sang that song the battle hymn of the republic this day that song ministers because it's the cry of the heart of God this is not fun and games it's a war for the souls of men it always has been a war we are fighting against powers and principalities we're not fighting against errant ministers and we would be wrong to try to do something to harm them we're fighting against the powers and principalities that are controlling them because they're not in touch with the heart of God we're fighting against powers and principalities and our battle is for the souls of men we're to go out in the power of the spirit without compromise and tell them that they have violated the laws of God they've sinned and fallen short of the glory of God all their works are all their righteousnesses are filthy rags apart from the righteousness that is imparted through Jesus Christ as the apostle Peter did bumbling, stumbling Peter who was just a fisherman who was afraid of his own shadow at times we're to stand up and tell the men everywhere that they're to repent that they're to turn from their sin and receive Christ as their Savior there's no other way to be saved Jesus said I'm the way the truth and the life and no man can come to the Father except through me we're to tell them that Jesus Christ has a legitimate claim on the life of every man woman and child that comes to Him we are not our own we are bought with a price therefore if God says go we go if God says speak we speak if God says stay we stay we are bought with a price we are not our own we're not given the liberty to fashion a God of gold after the working of our own hands and call Him Jesus we're not at liberty to create things that minister and cater to the lust in our own heart nor the lust in anybody else's heart we are called of God with a holy calling we're called to walk out of darkness into the marvelous light of Him who has saved us and redeemed us by His precious blood we're called to be a city that's set upon a hill ye are the light of the world Jesus said a city that's set upon a hill cannot be hidden we're not called to be down in the valley with all of the ministers of Aaron we're called to be up on the hill at Sinai with Moses and God we're called to be there hearing from the Lord we're called to be in a place where people look upon our lives and they see the glory of the risen Christ within us hallelujah hallelujah tell them of the legitimate claim of Christ I'm not my own my pathway is not my own I'm not at liberty to chart my own course and God help any man woe be unto any man I'm not at liberty that thinks that you can have Christ and walk your own path at the same time you can't my brother my sister those who do those or do these things don't have him as Lord if you don't have him as Lord we don't have him as Savior either tell them that Christ has a legitimate claim on the life of every believer Jesus had a legitimate claim on the life of Moses and yet Moses chose to look at his own inadequacy and because he would not go and I believe that God knew he wouldn't go unless somebody went with him then Aaron was raised up and the Aaron ministry has been a continual grief to the body of Christ throughout all of history he was a type and shadow of a man that's well spoken but doesn't know the heart of God networking picking up other men's ideas nice little three or four point sermons with all the words that rhyme but no heart for God always borrowing from other people because they can't hear from God for themselves they grow churches because of their organizational ability but the Jesus that they present to the people is a golden calf fashioned after their own hands the user friendly churches are I suppose the epitome of what I'm speaking about today they send out surveys and they say how would you like us to fashion Jesus what part would you like to set your hand to and so everybody says well I'd like a Jesus that has a swimming pool I'd like a Jesus that gives us a bowling alley I'd like a Jesus that lets us square dance every Saturday night in the gymnasium of the church and so everybody says and so the iron minister goes and he begins to fashion a God he calls him Jesus the God of gold and presents him he says here's your God that's delivering you out of bondage and the people don't know it but the pathway is as broad as the one that leads into hell itself they have no idea they're worshipping another God irrespective of what they call him and who they call him bring them to Calvary bring them to the place of brokenness bring them to the place of humility bring them to the place where their faces are down in the dust before a holy God and says God I'm not worthy that you should even save me I'm not worthy to even call upon your name but Lord I pray that you would have me I pray that you'd come into my life and save me and God I'll live for you for the rest of my life I'll serve you I'll speak your name I'll get into this book I'll cry out for the Holy Ghost and fill my life day in and day out bring them to Calvary bring them to Calvary my brother and my sister don't take them to a user friendly church take them to Jesus bring them to Calvary every man, woman and child in this generation has an invitation tonight you have an invitation to be saved and that's the only invitation that God has ever given to any man on this earth you have an invitation to be saved you have an invitation to come to him in full repentance and have your sins washed away you have an invitation to surrender your life to him to be your Lord as well as your Savior to say God in the early church I remember an evangelist one time that I met with a great, a man of tremendous integrity and he told me, he said in the early days we would give all the calls in the church and he says lawyers would come and doctors would come and people of report and renown in the community we would tell them you now from this day forward you don't have a right to your practice anymore whether you're a lawyer or a doctor you are now a bond slave of the Lord Jesus Christ if God lets you keep it, you keep it if God takes it away, you give it up you are now no longer your own, you're his isn't it odd in this generation now how the errant ministers let people come to the altar and encourage them now in their rebellion to God and encourage them to well, go your own way build your own empire and somehow you're going to get into the kingdom of heaven I'm not saying tonight that God's going to take everything away from everybody that comes, no if you're a doctor he'll use your skills and talents and maybe send you to the mission field if you're a lawyer you can use that for the glory of God if you're an athlete you can continue to be an athlete and God will use that for his glory but there's got to be in your heart a willingness to lay it down a willingness to put it away if God should call you to something else lest you become like Moses I believe that the errant ministry has been raised to the extent it has in this generation because of the number of people that God has called who just wouldn't go if they had gone we would have had a holy word in the pulpits of America for the last 30 years as it is there have just been a spattering of voices all over the continent but the errant ministers have risen up in abundance and gathered in thousands and thousands of people into the deceptive ministries you have an invitation to come boldly before the throne to find grace to help in time of need don't let the lie that you're too weak or too frail or not well enough spoken ever get to your heart and cause you to think that God will deliver Moses said well deliver by the hand of whom you will send and that thought can get into anybody's heart ever occurred to you that it might be you that God is calling has it ever occurred to you that it might be you that he's sending to a specific country of the world to start up something you know we read throughout history of the church it's been the most unlikely vessels that God has raised up young men like D.L. Moody just a 17 year old virtually illiterate young man full of foolishness he would do all kinds of foolish things and always get himself in trouble and one day he's sitting on a park bench and a man a Christian man that he knew comes and says the world is yet to see what God can do through a vessel that was fully surrendered to him and the man got up and left and he said these words he said by the Holy Spirit that's within me he said I shall be that man I shall be fully surrendered to God and you know what God did through his life how many multiples of thousands of people were touched through his life over and over again God has chosen the foolish of the world but over and over again there are many that he has chosen and called that have refused to respond to the call you have an invitation to learn of Christ and put on the full armor of God to respond to the call that he's placed upon your life if you and I don't respond I believe that millions will perish in this generation that's what brings the grief to the heart of God there are a people who know the truth all over the nation there are pockets of people who know the truth they know Jesus the real Jesus they know the scriptures they know the claim of Christ upon a sinner's life they know the power of God they know what it is to be broken and they have a yielded heart but they won't go they won't go there's such an inward focus in some cases it's fear in other cases it's preoccupation with the things of this world they just won't go and because of it those who have never been called rise up and take the reins of the church the body of Jesus Christ my brothers my sisters these things ought not to be in this generation or any other they ought not to be there are men here tonight and women that God has a call upon your life I don't know what it is but you know or you will know if you will open your heart to it God has called you to something may not be to stand behind a pulpit but it it may be to something else but whatever it is if you will walk in that path God will bring victory and deliverance to lost souls sitting in darkness and Jesus Christ will be lifted up and honored through your life and through the ministry the entrust to your hands if you will go if we don't go we're living at the threshold of eternity now I'm I tremble sometimes because I read in one of the prophets I believe it's in Joel where he says that weep and howl for the harvest of the field has perished we have lived through the age of the slick presenters the money grabbers it's evident now it's evident that it's so utterly bankrupt that you don't even need discernment anymore to see it you don't even have to be saved to know it's so bankrupt there's now a void being created in much of America and much of Canada and the people are beginning to search and look there are some out there that are still searching and looking for truth the message that God has put on my heart is can he call you and I to go can he call us and will we go will we honestly if he speaks and says I want you to do such and such will we respond to it and will we do it would you please stand this has been a very hard message to preach and I'm sure it's been very hard to hear for some but brothers and sisters I know what the Lord has spoken to my heart we are living in a desperate hour he has said before you in this pulpit time and again weak vessels that he has chosen he has called from brother West who by his own admission was born didn't have a father he was an orphan he was a very shy awkward backwards boy that God just touched and filled with his spirit and called him some day and he said I'll go and multiple thousands of lives have been touched and the call is going forward continuously there needs to be a new generation of evangelists there needs to be holy men and women of God that are raised up and God has touched and God has blessed in this house and God has spoken some of you have repented till there's no more tears to cry you know the Lord with all your heart and now you've come to the place of decision where God's going to call you for a specific purpose don't look at yourself don't look at your strengths don't look at your weaknesses when the Lord first called me what he spoke to my heart was so utterly preposterous that I knew that only if God did it it would ever happen it would never happen without him it was preposterous I couldn't speak just like Moses but God was gentle and kept working upon my heart and it's not just for me there are multiples of people that he's called over the years that have refused to go but this day the Lord is speaking you can be here tonight and not be saved and not even be a Christian but the call is to you too as well if you'll respond and repent of your sin if there's an open invitation that you can come and you can be saved and God will touch your life and set you apart for a purpose in his kingdom there are others in this house tonight God has spoken to you the Holy Spirit has spoken to you you don't have to try to reason what you're going to do don't even think about it no amount of reasoning and thinking would have ever put me in New York City from where I came from so don't try to think about it God knows the place that he has for you all he's looking for is a heart a true ministry a true heart an impassioned heart that says Lord I'm yours God I really am yours everything I have is yours Lord it's true I come before you it's true Lord everything I have is yours you can take my life and God if you want to leave me where I am then I'll stay but if you want to move me I'll move you want to put words in my mouth I'll speak them oh God you want me to stand up on a soapbox on the street corner I'll do it God for you I hear your cry I hear the cry of your heart the Lord is looking for a contrast to this ministry of Aaron this Aaron ministry the Lord's looking again for a contrast to this ministry throughout his body that will rise up in spirit and in truth and begin to preach the saving gospel of Jesus Christ once again to this generation hallelujah put every man his sword by his side this is our sword the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword piercing, dividing between the soul and spirit the joints and marrow and goes right in and discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp slay every man his brother and every man his companion and every man his neighbor in other words through the word of God bring to nothing the works of the flesh doesn't mean kill people but bring to nothing the works of the flesh pray for such a manifested presence of Jesus Christ upon your life tonight I pray for it upon my life everyday God if you have to consume me God consume me let there be a manifested presence of Jesus Lord that's what we ask for tonight at this altar those that have come Jesus in the power of the Holy Ghost and through your witten word raise up a bride raise up a holy remnant bride God raise up a true priesthood a Zadok priesthood O God in this generation those who would love you more than leisure love you more than self love you more than prosperity love you more than success love you more than the things of this world God a church that would love you with all of her heart her soul, her mind, and her strength God I'm asking in the power of the Holy Spirit that you would touch those that have responded tonight in a very deep and a very powerful way Lord God empower us enable us Holy Spirit to present our lives as a living sacrifice unto you that Lord you can touch our lives that Lord you can take us in places even where we don't want to go God that you could be lifted up and Jesus you could be glorified through each one of our lives by bearing much fruit for your kingdom O God Father forgive us tonight forgive us and the generations before us for allowing this errant ministry to rise in the nation O God Lord we put the blame at our own doorstep O God every one of us who have not responded to your call every one Lord that have not done the things you've asked us to do Lord that have not walked the pathway of your footsteps have allowed and had a hand in the rising of this ministry over this nation God we repent of this tonight O Lord O Jesus pray with me now those that are at this altar Lord Jesus I lay my life down as a living sacrifice for you take my life use my life speak through my life let your word become a mighty sword in my mouth fill me with compassion that I might bring you to the lost and bring the lost to you use my life for your glory deliver me from self-seeking deliver me from self from desiring ease deliver me from the errant ministry deliver me from the ministries of men who have good presentations but don't know your heart deliver me from ever being a person like that fill my heart with fire let me live for you let me bring honor to your name let me bear children for your glory I ask this Father in Jesus name This is the conclusion of the tape
