Let's dive into this morning's study. Father, we come to you this morning and we ask, Lord God, that you would anoint the going forth of your word and, Lord, that you would anoint us to be teachers of your word and doers of your word, making us good students of your very, very holy and insightful word. We pray, Father, that as we gather together this morning, that you would take this message and, Lord, if it's anything of value to you, that you would, Lord, take it around the world and, Lord, that it would result in the changing of lives to the awesome glory of your praise and honor and worship in your holy word. Father, we ask now to bless this time. In Jesus' name and all God's people said, amen. Church, grab your Bibles this morning, if you would, and turn to what was last week, an assignment in your homework given last Sunday, and that is the book of Ezekiel. You can turn to chapter 38. And do turn there and get your pen ready as we look at part four of our series of the Middle East crisis update. And today's title is The Last Jihad. And what are we talking about, the last jihad? And who is using this term? And why is it important to many millions of people, perhaps a billion people around the world, and how it could become very important to you in the days ahead? Listen, while you're turning to Ezekiel chapter 38, we will be there this morning in our study, but a little bit by way of background and recapping your homework from last week. In Ezekiel chapter 36, no need to turn there, but in Ezekiel chapter 36, as you read last week, God makes a promise to resurrect the nation of Israel in the last days. You can read about that in Ezekiel chapter 36. God says there that he would draw back, listen, he would draw back his people, Israel, from all the nations of the world just before his return to earth. He would bring them back from all the nations of the world and that they would come into the land of Israel, number one, in unbelief, number two, from all corners of the world. They would come and they would be speaking Hebrew, and they do. They would be coming and they would be coming poor, and they did. That they would take a land and that they would bring it back from the absolute brink of being a wasteland, and they have. Ezekiel chapter 36, God said, I'm gonna do this in the last days. And ever since the early 1900s, God has been bringing back his people. And not only that, but of course, in 1948, the rebirth of the nation. And Ezekiel chapter 37, we see God speaking to Ezekiel, the prophet, and he tells him how God is gonna do that. Ezekiel is told by the Lord, this is how I am going to reestablish my nation, Israel, and what I'm going to do in them, through them, and with them in the last days. And God gives great detail in chapter 37 about that. But now we come to Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39, and it's an amazing account. Church, listen. It's an amazing account of a battle that is so well outlined with such perfect detail that it caused critics to say it must have been written most very recently. It speaks about military exchange and involvement of nations so specific to a modern day map that some have argued that Ezekiel must have been written maybe in the last five, eight, 900,000, 1,200 years, that somehow maybe it's gone through some sort of corruption because it is so accurate. But the truth of the matter is, archeologically, the book of Ezekiel stands firm. It is a document thousands and thousands of years old that speaks with such detail that many people have either discredited it because it's too telling, it's too exact, or it's so terrifying that nobody wants to believe it because it demands, listen Christian, it demands that you take the word of God in a very, very personal and futuristic manner. And so we are looking at some tremendous things. What an interesting topic we have today and what an interesting four or five weeks this has been in all the earth with all that's going on. But boy, a lot has changed again in this last week that you and I met last. And some of you are going to say, what about the ceasefire? I addressed that a little bit on Wednesday night. What about the ceasefire? What does that do? I can tell you right now, less than 24 hours ago, I was speaking to a very high ranking Israeli officer who was making it very clear that they are monitoring, church listen, they are monitoring military movements since the ceasefire from Iran, from Syria, back into Lebanon again, and Israel, the United States and England, they're watching this take place. And this word that was given to me yesterday was apparently it's not over and we are ready. And I said, yeah, but what about what has gone on? This ceasefire has caused you guys to look very bad and it's the time for the enemy to rearm. And yes, that was agreed, yes, but what happened to us the last four weeks is what happens when politicians fight wars. And now I assure you the gloves have been taken off and there'll be no politicians fighting the next step for our survival. So church, it ain't over. I told you a couple of weeks ago, it's not over till the what? Till the what sings? The fat angel sings. It's not over till the fat angel sings. And listen, the Bible is very clear about what we're looking at in the day and age in which we live in. By the grace of God, we're gonna be giving you some information that's gonna blow your mind. It might be hard to hear. We have a lot of technical involvement today. Pray that God blesses this, but by way of remembrance, we're gonna throw up a couple of slides, three slides this morning to get you back into the groove of what we're talking about regarding Jihad. These clips from Europe. Europe, take some lessons from 9-11. This is from a Islamic Muslim demonstration on the streets of London, England. Next slide, please. And you remember this one, be prepared for the real Holocaust. This is again, it's hard to imagine, but this is the streets of England. And then our final slide is this freedom go to hell. And what amazes me about this in England, that you have the freedom to protest and to demonstrate this Jihadist is actually calling for the death of freedom, yet he's enjoying, he or she, is enjoying well freedom enough to protest. That's beside the point. The issue is that there is a Jihad that is coming to Europe and to the West and to Israel that is well studied, well advanced and accurate according to the times in which we live in. You're gonna be learning all about that today and the call for global Jihad. You might wanna jot things down. And by the way, I encourage you. I wanna see the top of your head the most of the day today, because I wanna see you writing, write things like this down if you would. There's an essential requirement for winning any war, no matter who you might be, both if it's you fighting that war or your enemy, this truth is true nonetheless. It is this. Number one, if you are gonna wage a successful warfare, number one, you need to be knowing what your enemy is thinking. Do you understand that? That's called intel. You need to know what your enemy is thinking or else you'll never win. Number two, by the way, if you don't like the topic, then just apply it to spiritual issues like Satan. You need to know what Satan thinks and how he thinks to win this battle spiritually in anything of life. Number two, what does your enemy believe? You say, Jack, I don't care what my enemy believes. You better care what your enemy believes. Why? Because they believe it. It could be false. It could be insane. It doesn't matter. Your enemy believes something and you need to find out what that is. Okay, number three, what is your enemy's agenda? Does your enemy have an agenda? Does Satan have an agenda? Absolutely. Does Russia have an agenda? Does America have an agenda? Every nation has an agenda. Let's be honest. Does Christianity have an agenda? Yes, it is. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever would believe in him would not perish but have everlasting life. That's our agenda. To bring as many men and women, boys and girls to the loving, saving knowledge of Jesus Christ that they would go to heaven forever and enjoy God. That's our agenda. Does Islam have an agenda? Yes, they have an agenda. Know what your enemy's culture is all about. Their culture. How are they brought up? What are they trained to think in their schools and in their culture, their city, their nations, their regions? Number five, what is your enemy's doctrine? That is, what is the enemy that is about to wage war against you think in the way of teaching? Doctrine is a fancy word for teaching. What do they teach? Now, church, you are not gonna like what you hear from some experts this morning because you don't want to believe that your enemy is teaching what you are about to hear. Why? We are famous Americans. To be a famous American is I don't wanna know bad news. Don't tell me anything that's gonna scare me. And we get all tense. I can feel the vibe from here, but that's a good way to get shot or hung or decapitated is to see your enemy coming and to whistle a happy tune or cover your eyes and say, this ain't happening. I'm sure Nicholas Berg and Daniel Pearl was praying and hoping that this was not about to happen to them. Their doctrine. And then finally, number six, what is your enemy saying? You just saw clips a moment ago from the streets of London. What is your enemy saying? He said, well, Jack, I don't believe in what they're saying. It doesn't matter. They believe it. Thus, it's important. We need to listen to what is being said about and of those who are determining the destruction of the West and of Christian doctrine and Christian values and Christian Bible and all. So listen, just how serious is the title of this morning's message today? Where are you guys going? You're gone. Okay, well, we're gonna watch. Raised in the West Bank by Muslim parents, our next guest joined the Palestinian Liberation Organization and vowed to, quote, kill as many Jews as I can. But after intense study of the Jewish Bible, he transformed himself into an advocate for his former enemy. Joining us now, former PLO member, author of Why I Left Jihad, Waleed Shoubat. Waleed, thank you for being with us. Thank you for having me. You committed PLO acts of terror against Israel. You've been imprisoned and released. You continued violence even after that. You continued anti-Israel activities, even here in the United States. I continued jihad. Jihad. That's right. What changed you? What changed me, when I came to the States in 93, my wife challenged me, I guess love conquers all. She asked me a question. She says, the Jews corrupted the Bible you mentioned. The Jews are prophet killers. The Jews spread disease. The Jews are Shylocks. Can you show me where the corruptions are in the Bible? So I started studying the Bible for the first time in my life. I started purchasing Jewish education, Jewish songs, Jewish music. I watched Fiddler on the Roof and started realizing the Holocaust was a reality because we denied the Holocaust was true. Mahmoud Abbas denies the Holocaust is true. The whole Arab society denies the Holocaust is true. But they know it's true. They're just denying it for public presumption, I don't think. But look, let me ask this. They don't know it's true. Well, that's a shame. And that's really true. They don't know. And that's the fact. How do you fight radical Islam? Do we just go and some would say, just kill them? What's the best way to fight it? Alan, we have to understand. Islam is not merely just a religion. Historically and currently, Islam is a civil code. And it is also a government system to be established throughout the Holocaust. So how should America face it? What should we do? What should be our policy? Well, first of all, you got to get rid of the charismatic leaders. You got to, that's not a lie. By killing them? Absolutely. We should kill everybody. No, no. Kill the charismatic leaders. And excuse me, in Lebanon, the Lebanese community, the Shia community, that realize, recognize hundreds of thousands are marching in the street. We don't assassinate other leaders of other countries or other groups because it makes our own leaders more vulnerable. But the community is aiding and abetting the whole thing. When, even my cousin, he was injured. Two of my aunts got killed. Excuse me. The whole society even abetted the terrorists. You said you were in an interview that you were taught in school. You had never met anybody who was Jewish, but you were taught in school, you say from the Quran, that Jews were pigs and monkeys. You were taught that. Absolutely. We have converted the Jews to become detestable monkeys. Not only that, the revolutionary song. I memorized all the revolutionary songs. All the singers, artists, social life, graffiti, clubs, mosques, you name it. You once blinded a man in a fight. Yes, sir. And then you were happy when you found out he was a Jew. That's right. That's sad. That is sad. That's pretty, and to say that was because of indoctrination, you once went to blow up a bank in Bethlehem. That's right. What happened? Well, the Muslim police, the Waqf police, who is supposed to be protecting the holy site over the Temple Mount, one of the holiest places for the Jewish and the Christian and even the Muslims, then I was smuggled through by the Muslim Waqf police to be infiltrated out of the city to plant a bomb in Bank Lomi Israel in Bethlehem. You wanted to die a martyr. You were indoctrinated to look forward to heaven. Is this where you get 72 virgins? That's right. The Quran says very clearly, wa-l-tah-sabanna li-bina-qutulu fee-sab-i-llahi amwatun bal-ahya-unu-andha rabbihim yur-zaqoon Do not think that the ones who die in the cause of Allah are dead, but are alive with Allah receiving the blessings. The blessings are not 72 virgins. That's corrected. It's 72 mansions with 72 beds, and on each bed, 72 virgins. So a lot more than 72. All right, but let me ask this. I think the world is asleep. I think Islamic fascism is very similar to, in terms of its fanaticism, to fascism or Nazism. Am I right? Absolutely right. And it's not only one Nazi Germany that you have to deal with. You've got to deal with a Pakistan. If it's ousted out, you've got to deal with Iran. How many millions of people, if you were to estimate, to make an estimate, how many millions of people buy into Islamic fascism? Well, in the Middle East, 113,000 Arabs surveyed from all spectrum of life. Over 73%. The survey was done by Al Arabiya Network. Over 73% wanted Hamas to take over and not a secular government. And Hamas has in its charter to obliterate Israel. Absolutely. So you're saying there are millions and millions of people that buy into this. Absolutely correct. Over 62% of Jordanians. Last question. Is the world have any clue what it's dealing with? No, not at all. I've been saying this since 1993. I was telling Americans, going to church and synagogue, saying they're going to blow up your buildings. They're going to cut your heads off. Has more to come? A lot more to come? They want a grand finale in your country. What is a grand finale? A grand finale like the Twin Tower. They want a grand finale and nuclear or something. They want to destroy and cripple this country. Are they capable of doing that right now? Yes, they are. They almost fouled up an event in New York in the subways. They are able to, if they get a dirty bomb, that's it, no problem in Canada. We got to run. We thank you for being with us. Well, if you want to hear more of him, he's, by the way, speaking to governmental leaders around the world right now. Waleed Shoubat. Shoubat. Look him up online or read his book. He is a man from the other side who's speaking out. It was hard for some of those things for you to hear, but we need to understand these things, just how serious it is. Church, you need to understand that jihad is not going to go away. Do you understand that? You don't have the choice. I don't have the choice to say it stops or starts here or there. It's independent of you. It has nothing to do with you. It has to do with a doctrine that has been commenced since early 1990. It is happening. It will continue to happen. It will escalate until something happens regarding that. Number one in our study this morning, jot these things down if you would. Number one, when is the last jihad? Number one, it's not until ancient powers are back in place. The last jihad will take place when ancient powers are back in place. Ezekiel chapter 38, beginning at verse one. Look at it with me there. Now the word of the Lord came to me saying to Ezekiel, son of man, set your face against Gog, G-O-G, in the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshach, and Tubal, and prophesy against him and say, thus says the Lord God, behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshach, and Tubal. Number one, church, keep this in mind. It is a very important thing to realize. And you'll see in a moment, we'll point this out to you, that immediately the prophet Ezekiel is spoken to by God, chapter 38, and an announcement is made that there's going to be something that has to do with G-O-G, that is a term used for a government, a political military leader. There's gonna be a man who's got political intrigue and military intrigue as one man. The word Gog is a title for a ruler. Who or where is this ruler? Well, if we do some homework, we find out that it says here he's in the land of Magog, and names are given that you and I do not understand unless we are Old Testament readers. If you go to Genesis chapter 10, you will read and find out who are these regions, or where are these regions? And it's listed there of these nations, or the table of nations, that make up early empires, early governments of the world. Are you guys with me? And so you need to look at that. So you want to ask the question, who or where are these guys? That's an important thing. Number two, when is the last Jihad? It's when there is a Russian-Islamic coalition of nations. What? Yeah, when there's a Russian-Islamic coalition of nations. Look at verses five and six. It says there that Persia, Ethiopia, Libya will be with them. All of them with shield and helmet. Gomer and all its troops in the house of Togomar from the far north. Bible students, circle the word far north. And all its troops, many people or nations are with you. That's Ezekiel 38 verses five and six. Where or when is this last Jihad? It's when ancient nations are back in place. And number two, there will be a Russian-Islamic coalition. You say, well, what do you mean by that? Let's put the slide up of the ancient map of that region. Russia today is where Magog was in the ancient times. When the Bible speaks about things that are yet to happen in the future, it will go back to the foundational roots. Church, listen. Leave it up, you guys. Leave that slide up. You will never. You've heard us say specifically in the book of Revelation. You heard us teach that you'll never understand the book of Revelation unless you read your Old Testament. Remember that? You'll never understand Ezekiel also unless you understand earlier chapters of the Bible. Magog is this region here. It's a region. This is, by the way, these titles are superimposed over current political powers. The western region is Rosh, Belarus, Ukraine, extending down south, Tubal and Togomar, the areas of Turkey, Mishak, the areas that would be over here and there, so toward Lebanon, Syria and Iraq in here, Mishak. Gomer, the regions of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, all of these regions over here, even possibly the regions of Afghanistan, Pakistan and the parts of China. This huge area. But there's a word that's given that has caught every Bible student and scholar's attention. You heard it a moment ago when I asked you to mark it. It said those from the far north. The word in the Hebrew is someone coming from the uttermost parts of the north, a distance so far north you can't go north anymore. That is a key to who is Gog in the land of Mishak and Tubal and the rest, because whoever he is, he is governor over this region or strong influence over this region that brings about a north, a northern army descending south into the area of Israel, as you shall see in a moment. He is a political military leader bringing together this region that he has great power over. But watch what happens. It says here that he will also bring with them Iran or Persia. Persia is its tribal or root name. Persia is Iran. Ethiopia, circle that word in Ezekiel. The word means literally the northern parts of Africa. It doesn't mean today the Ethiopia that you see on a map. It means that Ethiopia and the westward movement. If you scan across the North African tip. Let me ask you this. Iran, Libya, did you notice that in your Bible? It's been there for thousands of years. What's the name? Libya, the area of Muammar Gaddafi today, Libya. It mentions these names. It states these locations. And you were looking at Togomar and Mishech, the areas of where Turkey is today. All of that region. It's interesting to see that what is the fate of those regions? Are these Jewish nations? I need to hear from you. I need some encouragement. Are these Christian regions? What today in the 21st century, we're just doing a little poll here. What is the religious belief system that is in this entire region, even southern Russia? Islam. No doubt about it. They're proud of it. Islam. Keep that in mind. The Bible speaks about in the book of Ezekiel, a Russian led coalition of nations listed here in Ezekiel that have Islam as a belief system that will attack Israel in the last days. Are we there? I don't believe we're there right now as I stand here on this Sunday morning. Not yet. Is the ceasefire gonna stick? Let me rephrase that. Has the ceasefire stuck? No. In fact, did you guys see what happened this morning coming to church? Did you see the news this morning? Can anybody tell me what happened in Iran today? They're having military maneuvers and they launched one of their most nasty, wicked missiles of all today. Iran. Not Lebanon or Hezbollah. Iran. Did that while we were sleeping Saturday night, Sunday morning. There's some saber rattling going on. And I can just simply tell you that out of Israel, we are hearing it ain't over. It's not over. I know CNN wants it over. Look, all of us want it over. Nobody wants to see death. But it's not over yet. So we see this thing coming together that there's ancient powers back in place, that there's a Russian Islamic coalition of nations. Listen to this. I read to you from Associated Press, headlined, Russian-Iranian President Warn of Escalating Middle East Tensions. Moscow. President Vladimir Putin and his Iranian counterpart, Mahmoud Abedbanjan, I can never say his name, warned Friday of escalating tensions from the month-old conflict in Lebanon, the Kremlin said. The two presidents who discussed the developments in the Middle East by telephone agreed, quote, the situation in Lebanon and the region as a whole has become even more tense, a Kremlin statement said. Russia is a key economic partner with Iran. And you ought to, church, are you listening to this? You ought to find out what the economic agreement is. It'll blow your mind. Russia just signed an agreement with Iran, a $10 billion gig to supply Iran with military weapons if Iran would supply Russia with oil. You can read about it anywhere in the world. Russia is a key economic partner of Iran whose leader has called for Israel to be removed from off the map. Diplomats at the UN stepped up its efforts on the ceasefire effort. Did you hear that? That's Associated Press. You were reading about a Russian-Iranian agreement. Even when the Iranian president declares this week, Israel must be removed from off the face of the map. Did Russia condemn them for saying that? Did Russian say, we break off all ties with you for saying that? No, not at all. These things you need to mark down. Is this the fulfillment of Ezekiel? I don't think so, not yet, but it sure smells like something's coming, doesn't it? It's pretty amazing. Okay, number three, jot it down. When is the last Jihad? When a great northern nation is a weapons supplier. Ezekiel 38, verse seven. This is announced to Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshach, and Tubal. He's a leader. We believe in the area of Russia, as you saw on the map today. Prepare yourself and be ready. You and all your companies that are gathered about you and be a guard for them. Church, be educated. Circle the word guard. In the English, it's the word guard. It's an okay word, but in the Hebrew, the word means this, and I'll give it to you directly. Be the chief warrior, be the post, the pillar, the strength, the cover, the one who provides. You guys, this is what the Bible says. Whoever Gog is, and he's the prince of Rosh, Meshach, and Tubal, he's got an Islamic alliance of nations that are not some of them Muslim, not one of them Islamic, all of them are Muslim nations. Joining together with this guy who commandeers, or I should say, strike that word, it's who commands this great northern empire. They're gonna come together, united against Israel. What will his part be? To supply, to be a post, to be a pillar to those nations that come into the war, or that make up the war. Ezekiel chapter 38, verse seven. The word in Hebrew means to be a supplier. This is amazing. Russian made arms for years have been making their way into Iran, by the way, Iraq as well, but Syria, and to many terrorist groups around the world, Russian made arms, guaranteed by the way, by treaties and by alliances. Number four, when is this last Jihad gonna happen? Only after Israel is back in her land can it happen. Only will the Jihad where there is a push to destroy Israel and conquer the world for Islam, when will it happen? Only after Israel is back in its land. Where do we get that from? I'm glad you asked. Ezekiel chapter 38, verse eight. After many days you will be visited. This is this army and dog. In the latter years, you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many nations on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They were brought out of the nations and now all of them dwell safely. Is that clear enough? Is that amazing? Number five, when will this last Jihad take place? When other nations seek to take the land of Israel. Where do we get that from? Well, Ezekiel chapter 38, verse nine says, you will ascend coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many nations with you. Listen to this. Something that I think you already know, but several weeks ago, the Iranian president said, and I quote, the only real cure for the conflict in Lebanon is the elimination of the Zionist regime of Israel. Close quotes. They are united on the destruction of Israel. By the way, can I say this? Well, I'm gonna say it anyway. You better pay attention to what happens in Israel because they're the first line of our defense. Think of that. I don't really care what goes on over there. You will care if Israel loses, there's gonna be somebody knocking on your door. In a sense, they are us fighting on that soil over there. Of course, we know. In fact, I was talking to a dear friend of mine in Israel and I said, you know, the scary part about the United States versus you, Israel, is that we don't have any promises in the Bible. The United States ain't got one promise. The Bible is written about Israel and the Bible makes it very clear. A remnant of them in some coming attack in the future against Israel, there'll be so many killed, but a remnant will survive and God will fulfill his promises. America doesn't have such a promise in the Bible, anywhere in the Bible. They'll come to take the land of Israel. This battle of Ezekiel is not Armageddon. It is not a final world war. It is a regional battle with local participants as you saw a moment ago. There's an agenda to destroy them. We're gonna give you this next video clip. It's quite alarming, so pay attention to this. For a moment, we wanna bring in a former Palestinian terrorist. He was recruited into the terror ranks at the age of seven. Kamal Saleem is in Silhouette to protect his identity tonight. Kamal, thank you for joining us. This report that we were just discussing, alleging a couple planned to sacrifice their own child, a baby, in the Sky Terror plot. To me, it sounds like it's almost unbelievable. You've been on both sides. How do you see this? What's your reaction? Well, Kimberly, this is the norm. My family used me from the early age. I have so many brothers and sisters and I was recruited at the age of seven to go ahead and start moving into the radical camps of the PLO and then we moved to Syria and we trained in Syria and we trained how to kill the enemy in every way, form, or shape. But with this, they're really, this is a foundation Islamic teaching. This is a Hadith by Muhammad who said, "'Teach your children how to kill the enemy, "'how to throw the arrow and bow, "'how to ride the horse and how to surprise the enemy "'and how to speak the enemy language.'" That's right out of the Koran. How do they go about doing this brainwashing at a young age to recruit young children like this? They build you up and they tell you, Allah has so much for you in heaven and they give you a key to heaven. And so many times they pay your family up to $35,000. Wow. Coming from Libya or Iraq or different places, Kimberly. And with this, your family, it's more applicable to your family to tell you, Allah is opening the gate of heaven for you to come through and they make you, they give you a weapon to carry and you feel very strong about yourself. And when you enter the combat and you see the enemy falling down, you know that you have the power and you know it's Allah on your side. That sounds like they do a lot of self-confidence, self-esteem building when they own you and control you. What role do mosques play in this terror recruitment of youngsters? Say it again, I'm sorry, Kimberly. What role do mosques play? I mean, it's a place of worship, but what role does it play in terms of recruiting young terrorists? All mosques where they are in local neighborhood, this is where everything take place, where the adult come around the kids and build them up and tell them, this is the only way. According to Corey and Kimberly, the only person in Islam that can go to heaven is the martyrs. And they teach us martyrdom at young age, especially against the Jew. If we can destroy the Jew and kill them and annihilate them and with the American, this is the great Satan, we can go to heaven straight away. That's really scary. I don't know how we're gonna fight against it. Come on, Steven, I wanna thank you so much for coming on the lineup tonight. Isn't it amazing? Were you guys able to hear that? Isn't it amazing that what he said in the closing, that the goal is to destroy America, the great Satan. And in print, you can read from Muslim websites. I read a lot of Muslim Islamic websites, terrorist websites. You can read them. It was first to kill or destroy Israel, then America. And that doctrine has changed recently. They have found out that, you know what? We need to destroy America, then Israel will have nobody. So we are the great Satan that Ayatollah Khomeini, remember him, spoke about. And the doctrine now is to kill the great Satan and its illegitimate child, it's Israel. You say, Jack, I don't like what I'm hearing. This is reality. And you can put your head in the sand and run away, but it's coming. And my prayer is that the Lord comes first today and takes us out of here. That's my prayer. But if not, we need to know. We need to know what our enemy is thinking. And it's very sad that we even have to show you such things. Number six, when is the last Jihad? When Israel is fooled by a veiled ceasefire. Something that's like now today, but greater. Where do we get that from? Ezekiel chapter 38, verse eight, verse 11, verse 14. Israel will agree to a ceasefire. It will say at some point in time, Israel is going to fall asleep under the guarantee of peace. The only thing is those who have, quote, made peace with them do not plan on peace at all. Two things Israel and any Israeli on the streets of Israel will tell you, two things they want. Number one, Israel is tired of war. They're tired. And so they want to be left alone. Number one, why can't the world leave us alone? Number one. Number two, why can't the world leave us alone in peace? That's their request. World, leave us alone. Number two, leave us alone in peace. And someone at some point in time, UN, whatever, before the Ezekiel battle happens, Israel is going to think the word in Hebrew for safety or peace implies an assumed peace. They are talked into a believed peace. It will be no true peace at all. Listen, when you want something so bad, you will imagine it coming to pass. You will even look for signs that are not there to convince yourself that's it, because you're so desperate. Israel is desperate for peace and for existence. And so they'll sign on to anything. This week, Israel signed, in my opinion, an absolute disastrous agreements. Absolutely, number one, how did this whole thing start? Soldiers were taken captive out of their own land, kidnapped and taken into Gaza and into Lebanon. That's how it started. Israel said, give back these guys. And the answer was a Katyusha missile in your face. That's how it started, all right? Now, at the end of this ridiculous agreement that the Israeli government just signed, it makes Israel give all the concessions. Hezbollah does not have to disarm. And where are the soldiers? In the negotiations, they didn't even get their soldiers back, which sends a message to the Israeli army. Now, even if you're captured, we're not gonna come get you. That's why you're seeing on the news today, soldiers across Israel by the tens of thousands saying, we're not gonna do this again unless you let us do it our way. Stop running the show from some office in Tel Aviv. That's why Israel lost this week, this battle. They lost. How is that? They spent $6 billion defending themselves, didn't get the soldiers back and Hezbollah is rearming as we speak. This is a disaster. I was told it's not gonna happen again. I hope not. But by the way, Israel has never attacked the nation to advance its borders without first having been in a place of defending itself, like the Six Day War and the War of Independence and the like, keep that in mind. Number seven, when is the last Jihad? When Russia thinks to invade the land of Israel. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, if you don't know, you heard it here first. Russia will think to invade the land of Israel. You say that's unthinkable. Well, that's because the Bible says that God is gonna allow an evil thought to enter their mind. Look at verse 10, Ezekiel 38, verse 10, thus said the Lord God, on that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind and you will make an evil plan. You will say, I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will go to a peaceful people who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls and having neither bars nor gates. Isn't that interesting? Who thinks this thought? Whoever he is, he's a political military leader who holds the same office and commands a region that is not only the uttermost parts of the North to the top of the world, but the nations underneath it. Whoever those nations are, they are Islamic in faith. And it's to the extermination of Israel. You guys have got to get excited because until 1948, that couldn't have happened. There was no nation of Israel in existence. This is awesome stuff. So what do we know? That there's a Russian led invasion against the land of Israel. By the way, just a little side note. In the 1990s, and since the breakup of the former Soviet Union, there's been the reformation of the ancient land of Russia, the motherland of Russia. What's amazing about that is tens of thousands of people have come to know Jesus Christ since 1990. And the preaching of the gospel throughout the entire nation of Russia, of which this church, by the way, was the second Calvary Chapel within two weeks to step foot on Russian soil and preach the gospel. I had the high honor of preaching the gospel right in front of Lenin's tomb to hundreds and hundreds of Russians that gathered around here. And much of our mission support still goes to churches in Russia that we started or had help starting in the early 1990s. What's amazing to me about all of that is the fact that God loved the Russian people. And for 71 years, Jesus and the Bible was illegal in Russia. And church, if you're a skeptic, you better wake up to this fact right now. It was in the 1990s and up to this moment. In fact, we're going next month to Russia again to preach the gospel. God is bringing out of Russia, the land of Rosh, Meshach, and Tubal, a people of his own. People have come to faith in Jesus by the tens of thousands. Are you ready for this? Are you sitting down? Number two, just from the area of St. Petersburg, Russia, over 600,000 Russian-born Jews have left Russia and moved back to Israel. One million plus have left Russia and moved back to Israel, or moved to Israel for the first time, having been born in Russia, Jewish people. You guys, that's a miracle. That is an absolute miracle. And not only is it a miracle, listen to this. Isaiah chapter 43. Isaiah chapter 43 speaks that in the last days, God's gonna bring all his people back into the land of Israel. But listen to verses five and six of Isaiah 43. Fear not, for I am with you. He's speaking to Israel. I will bring your descendants from the east. That means they get to go from the east, they just go. And from the west, they move from New York and LA to Israel. I will command, the word in Hebrew is command. I will command the north, give them up. The north? What's north of Israel? Russia. God commanded Russia to let the people go. How did he do that? Through the amazing political strategies and military prowess of Ronald Reagan, quite frankly, challenged Gorbachev. Wound up taking the Russian nation, the Soviet Union to the bank, and they went bankrupt trying to defend themselves against us without us firing a shot. The wall came down and one and a half million Jews, Russian born Jews, made their way back into Israel, just as Isaiah 43 would say. And God says, I will say to the north, I command them. Let them go. And God did that in your lifetime and mine. That's awesome. By the way, it's considered the second greatest exodus in Israeli history. Did you know that? When is the last Jihad? Number eight. When is the last Jihad? When Israel has caused the land to flourish. Oh, this is something. Boy, all of us have enjoyed this. When Israel causes the land to flourish. Ezekiel chapter 38, verse 12. Listen to this. They will think, the evil thought is this. I will take a plunder and to take the goods to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited. And again, a people gathered from the nations who have acquired livestock and goods and dwell in the midst of the land. Church, look at these three simple slides. This is the land of Israel today. It's absolutely wonderful. This is Israel. Did you think that was California? That's Israel. God says, I'm gonna bring my people back. By the way, before this happened, it was just absolute abandoned wasteland. God says, I'm gonna bring my people back. Israel. Israel has a phone ringing. This right here, this location is a fertile growth area, agricultural area of much of what Israel is all about. And the amazing thing about this is the Israelis have invented state of the art. I have no idea what that is. State of the art technology that is rivaled by no one in the world regarding agricultural of desert lands and converting them into a tremendous blessing. Next slide. This is the brand new David Ben-Gurion Air Force. Not even a year old yet, or maybe it is just now a year old. Absolutely state of the art. By the way, the number one highest level of security for passengers in the world. When was the last time you heard of an Israeli airplane being hijacked or blown up? They have amazing, amazing security. Jumbo jets coming from all over the world. Tourism is a multi-billion dollar resource for Israel. This is modern day Israel. Next slide. This is a mall in Israel. This is a picture taken. Many of our teams have gone through these malls in Israel. By the way, according to my daughters who love to shop, they tell me that the malls in Tel Aviv, they're the best malls they've ever been to anywhere in the world. State of the art stuff. This is Israel today. What does the Bible say? That whoever this leader is in the North will come against a land that has been brought back from desolation with all these things that are a people with goods and they come to take a plunder. They have rejuvenated the waste places and they have livestock and all of this. Israel now, by the way, since 1948, went from not even on the map to the second and third largest producers of fruit and flowers in the world. Smaller than the land of New Jersey. That's a hint of what God's gonna do in the millennium. Amen? From that land. So the Jihad ain't gonna happen until Israel's back in the land and flourishing. Who says? Ezekiel says. What do we have in real time? Exactly that. Okay, I need to warn you. Don't start it just yet, Dave. You need to take a deep breath. Everyone take a deep breath. Okay, relax. You're gonna need to read fast. These have subtitles. This video, this woman's life is under threat. Wafa Sultan, she's in hiding. I believe she lives in the United States now. You'll see why. There's a fatwa on her life. If anybody finds her, they're gonna kill her. She's not a Christian. She's not a Jew. She's an Arab secularist. She's not Muslim either. She believes in nothing. She's a professor of, I forget, professor of philosophy or something. Anyway, you ready? Let's go. The clash we are witnessing around the world is not a clash of religions or a clash of civilizations. It is a clash between two opposites, between two eras. It is a clash between a mentality that belongs to the Middle Ages and another mentality that belongs to the 21st century. It is a clash between civilization and backwardness, between the civilized and the primitive, between barbarity and rationality. It is a clash between freedom and oppression, between democracy and dictatorship. It is a clash between human rights on the one hand and a violation of these rights on the other hand. It is a clash between those who treat women like beasts and those who treat them like human beings. What we see today is not a clash of civilizations. Civilizations do not clash but compete. I understand from your words that what is happening today is a clash between the culture of the West and the backwardness and ignorance of the Muslims. Yes, that is what I mean. Who came up with the concept of a clash of civilizations? Was it not Samuel Huntington? It was not Bin Laden. I would like to discuss this issue if you don't mind. The Muslims are the ones who began the clash of civilizations. The prophet of Islam said, I was ordered to fight the people until they believe in Allah and his messenger. When the Muslims divided the people into Muslims and non-Muslims and called to fight others until they believe in what they themselves believe, they started the clash and began the war. In order to stop this war, they must reexamine their Islamic books and curricula, which are full of calls for repentance and fighting the infidels. My colleague has said that he never offends other people's beliefs. What civilization on the face of the earth allows him to call other people by names they did not choose for themselves? Once he calls them A, Allah, Dama. And another time he calls them the people of the book. And yet another time he compares them to apes and pigs, or he calls the Christians those who incur Allah's wrath. Who told you they were people of the book? They are not people of the book. They are people of many books. All the useful scientific books that you have today are theirs. The fruit of free and creative thinking. What gives you the right to call them those who incur Allah's wrath or those who have gone astray? And then come in here and say that your religion commands you to refrain from offending the beliefs of others? I am not a Christian, a Muslim, or a Jew. I am a secular human being. I do not believe in the supernatural, but I respect others' rights to believe in it. Are you a heretic? You can say whatever you like. I am a secular human being who does not believe in the supernatural. If you are a heretic, there is no point in rebuking me since you have blasphemed against Islam, the prophet, and the Quran. Brother, you can believe in stones as long as you don't throw them at me. You are free to worship whoever you want, but other people's beliefs are not your concern. Whether they believe that the Messiah is God, Son of Mary, or that Satan is God, Son of Mary, let people have their beliefs. The Jews have come from the tragedy of the Holocaust and forced the world to respect them with their knowledge not of their terror, with their work, not their crying and yelling. Humanity owes most of the discoveries and science of the 19th and 20th centuries to Jewish scientists. Fifteen million people scattered throughout the world, united and won their rights through work and knowledge. We have not seen a single Jew blow himself up in a German restaurant. We have not seen a single Jew destroy a church. We have not seen a single Jew protest by killing people. The Muslims have turned three Buddhist statues into rubble. We have not seen a single Buddhist burn down a mosque, kill a Muslim, or burn down an embassy. Only the Muslims defend their beliefs by burning down churches, killing people, and destroying embassies. This path will not yield any results. The Muslims must ask themselves what they can do for humankind before they demand that humankind respect them. When is the last Jihad? Number nine, when the nations do nothing to aid Israel. Ezekiel 38, verse 13. Sheba and Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all the young lions thereof, shall say unto you, Have you come to take a plunder? Have you gathered your army to take a loot, to carry away silver and gold, and to take away livestock and goods, and to take a great plunder? Notice that, church, that the last Jihad will take place when the nations of the world do not help Israel at all. Right now, the United States is the only nation standing with Israel. According to the Bible, there will be a change in America. And just for the record, today is August 20, 2006. I date this message to say that in the near future, there will be a change in American politics that will somehow, some way, shape, or form recoil, step back, stop helping Israel. America will stop being the big brother to Israel as we have been for the last 60 years. And that will be the beginning of our demise. God says in Genesis 12, I'll bless those who bless Israel, I'll curse those who curse Israel. This is a very critical thing. The nations will gather together in condemnation of Israel. And when you read that verse of Ezekiel 38, 13, Have you come to take a plunder? Why are you doing this? Notice that that's all they say. You know what that means? I'm fully convinced that it's another UN resolution. Oh, why this? Oh, why that? Let's file a resolution. For what reason? None of them were ever upheld. None of them were ever obeyed. The world is expecting a belief system to honor a UN agreement when their belief system is religious, not secular. They believe they are serving their God. They will not serve the UN, the EU, or the US. You understand that? It will never work. And the UN, the EU, and the US is stupid when they think that a group of people with a religious belief will sacrifice that belief for the concoction of some crazy politicians about bringing peace to the Middle East. It won't happen. The world is futile in this attempt. It's sad. If anything, preach the gospel and set people free. It's not going to come through UN resolution. Number 10, when is the last jihad? When Israel's neighborhood is set on her destruction. Verse 14, therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, thus says the Lord God, on that day when my people Israel dwell safely, you will know it. Then you will come from your place out of the far north. You and the nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company of mighty army. You will come up against my people Israel like a cloud and cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will make you. In the latter days that I will bring you, excuse me, against my land so that the nations may know when I am hollowed in you, oh, God, before their eyes. That's an awesome thing. I asked you to read before Psalm 83, Zechariah 12 and Joel chapter 3. No time to bring them all up right now and read them. But read those verses later. Psalm 83, Zechariah 12, Joel 3. All they're describing as to why God does this. Number 11, when is the last Jihad? It is when Israel awakens from her spiritual coma. Right now, Israel is spiritually asleep. And verses 17 to 23 says, thus says the Lord God, you are he of whom I have spoken of in the former days by my servants, the prophets of Israel who prophesied for years in those days that I would bring you against them. And it will come to pass at that same time when Gog comes against the land of Israel, says the Lord God, that my fury will show in my face for in my jealousy and in my fire, fiery wrath, I have spoken. Surely in that day, there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel so that the fish of the seas and the birds of the heavens and the beast of the field and all creeping things upon the earth and all the men who are on the face of the earth will shake at my presence. The mountains will be thrown down and the steep places will fall. Every wall shall be knocked to the ground and I will call for a sword against you. Oh, God, throughout my mountains of Israel, says the Lord God, every man's sword will be against his own brother and I will bring him into judgment with pestilence and bloodshed and will rain down upon him from heaven hailstones of fire and brimstone. Thus, I will magnify my name and sanctify myself and I will be known in the eyes of, listen, many, not all nations, but many nations. Then all shall know that I am the Lord. Wow. Number 12. When is the last jihad? When Russia and Islam is defeated by divine intervention. Ezekiel 39, next chapter, verse 1. Behold, I'm against you, O God, the prince of Rosh, Meshach, and Tubal, and I, the Lord, will turn you around. Listen to this. I will turn you around and lead you on, bring you up from the farthest north to bring you against the mountains of Israel. Then I will knock the bow out of your left hand and cause the arrows to fall out of your right hand. You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops, the Muslim alliance and the nations that are with you. I will give you to birds of prey for every sort of beast of the field to be devoured. You shall fall on the open field, for I have spoken and say at the Lord, and I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in the secure regions of the coastlands. Then they shall know that I am the Lord. Apparently, Russia and its regions of the coast will be severely judged by God. Church, we're almost done. The London Times this week, and I quote, reported in Islam, as in Judaism, as in Christianity, there are certain beliefs concerning the cosmic struggle at the end of time. Gog and Magog, the Antichrist, Armageddon for Shiite Muslims, the long awaited return of the hidden Imam, ending in the final victory of the forces over good and evil. However, these may, however, these may be defined. Mr. Avanajad of Iran and his followers clearly believe that this time is now and that the terminal struggle has begun. And it is indeed well advanced. It may even have a date, a date of August 22nd, 2006, which correlates to the 27th day of Rahab in the Muslim calendar 1427 since Mohammed. August 22nd is the day of Saladin's victory over Jerusalem and the celebrated day of Mohammed's night ride into heaven. In the Iranian nation, the 11th grade textbook within with a statement by all of Ayatollah Khomeini is quoted as saying, quote, I am decisively announcing to the world that. And by the way, this is like in the 70s, that if the world devours the infidels of power, wish to stand against Islam. We will stand against their whole world and will not cause will not cease, excuse me, until the annihilation of them all. Either we all become free or we all go to a greater freedom, which is martyrdom. Either we shake one another's hands, enjoy a victory of Islam over them, or all of us will turn to eternal life through martyrdom. In both cases, victory and success is ours. Close quote. But what's so potentially alarming about that specific date? London Times states, it seems that August 22nd has great Islamic significance. That's in two days from now. Particularly this year of 2006, according to Bernard Lewis, a world renowned Middle Eastern and Islamic scholar and professor emeritus at Princeton University, the following is taken from an article that he wrote in The Wall Street Journal. This year, August 22nd, 2006, might well be deemed the most appropriate day for the apocalyptic ending of the nation of Israel. U.S. News and World Report, Michael Chertoff, of the United States Homeland Security Secretary states that the British plot was getting close to executing, to the execution stage and date for British and American crisis planners. The date, August 22nd, appeared several times as the date of the attack. President Ahmadinejad of Iran has cited that August 22nd is the date on which he will also give a final answer, in his words, to the world regarding their nuclear ambitions in Iran. The foiled British plot involved blowing up 10 commercial airliners over the United States cities. This plan corresponds with the longstanding ambitions held by Al-Qaeda. Close quote. Interesting. Number 13, and we're done. When is the last jihad? It happens while a great jihad is underway, which leads to the Islamic collapse. Ezekiel 39, verses 9 through 12 says, then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out. This is after the battle that God brings, apparently, you know, it says that he'll knock their arrows right out of their own hands and they'll be judged that way. Could you imagine if you launch a missile that you've intended to hit at Tel Aviv? You launch it and it takes off. Has this not happened before, by the way, in God's dealing with nations? The missile takes off, goes up, up, oh, turns around. Oh, oh, no. He says, I'm going to knock your arrows, by the way. Test this and see if I'm not telling you the truth. Go look up what the Hebrew word is for arrow. The word is simply a projectile. That's all the word is. See, the King James translators put, what's a projectile with a bow? The word, by the way, in Hebrew for bow is launcher. So when they read it in the Hebrew to make it into the English, the King James translator said, based upon their time, what is a launcher? Oh, it must be a bow. And what is a projectile? Well, it's an arrow. So in the English, they put arrow and bow. The ancient Hebrew is very specific. It's launchers and projectiles. Pretty interesting. They're going to come back on their own head. Something's going to happen. It says that Israel, verse 9, it says that they will make fires with the remains of the weaponry for seven years. They will take no wood from the forest nor cut wood down from the fields because they will make fires with the weapons and they will, of those that they've plundered and pillage those who pillage them. This is the Lord God. It will come to pass in that day that I will give God a burial place in the land of Israel, the valley of those, listen, who passed by east of the sea, the Mediterranean, those who passed by downwind from the prevailing winds. And it will obstruct travelers in those days because they will bury God and his multitude of nations there. And they will call it the Valley of Hemingog. And for seven months, the house of Israel will be burying the dead to cleanse the land. We'll end here for now. Keep reading later this afternoon. The Bible says that Israel will hire men of continual employment who bury the dead for seven months. And it says in your old, old Bible, that if anybody comes upon a bone from those killed in the battle. That no one's to touch the bone, but to set up a flag by it until the professional barriers come and bury it east of the Mediterranean Sea. Read Ezekiel 39. Church. These are amazing times. Is this going on now? No. Is there turmoil in the Middle East? Yes. Is the alignment of nations something that we've never seen before? Yes. Are they calling for Israel's destruction any day now? Yes. Amazing. Make sure you know Jesus Christ, my friend. For four weeks, I've been pleading with you to know Christ. You can all stand. Let's stand. You're tired. Worship group, come on out. I understand that it's late at the end of this song. If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, I would do that now. Here's the reason why. There is no guarantee that you and I will see this battle recorded in Ezekiel. We could get raptured out of here today and watch it from heaven above, according to the Bible. If we stick around and we see it happening, we can go to all of our neighbors and say, I told you, I told you. And believe me, they'll be asking you, give me the gospel one more time. Know the Lord.
