In this sermon, the speaker emphasizes the importance of not allowing blasphemies against God's name. Second Thessalonians, and after the second chapter, please. Four second letters to the Thessalonians, and after the second chapter. Just before we look into the chapter, let me recapture something of last week's message, just for a moment or two. We looked up this plan of the bears last Tuesday. After the church, after all the blood-bathed, born-again believers of this dispensation, after all the saints saved by grace of leftness, we were looking back at this planet when the church had gone, and then the Holy Ghost had been taken away. After the translation of the saints, and the departure of the spirit, we were looking at this planet, and we noticed this, that it was dividing itself as far as nations were concerned, into four great amalgamations of nations. In fact, you know, even tonight before the church has gone at all, we can see this beginning to take place. We noticed that right out in the far east of this planet, that the chains of the east were getting together. I believe, of course, that China and Japan will amalgamate, and I have a feeling from prophecy that India will throw in their lot with them. And you just try to imagine this evening, the Chinese nation, with all the power which they have just now, and the Japanese, and India thrown into the bargain. It would be quite a formidable force. And then we noticed that right across the whole northern hemisphere, that the Russian nation with all its satellites, would make a bewildering force. Right in the south I can see Nasser doing his very best to gather all the Arab nations together. He would like Lebanon, and Syria, and Jordan, and Iraq, and Egypt, and indeed all the Arab nations to gather together. And I believe that this would compose the richest crowd on earth. They would be a mighty force. But we can see quite clearly just now, as we look back at this planet, when the church is gone, not only the kings of the east, and the king of the north, and the king of the south, as you like, but we can see already the ten toes of Daniel's image beginning to form. This is the united states of Europe lying out in the west here. Britain and a few others are knocking at the door to get in, and in they'll get. But as we look back at this planet, and we can see these nations merged in together, we can see this great united states of Europe, the common market if you will, we can see its mighty parliament, and also this parliament arising as president, and rise he will. He would be the man of sin. And we were looking at the man of sin last week. We were just looking at the time when he will be revealed. Not until Jesus comes, and the saints go, and the apostasy and relearness begin, and the Holy Spirit is removed, the scripture says, then shall that which is won be revealed. And not a moment before. We looked at the time when he would appear, and then we took time to look at the titles given to him in this book. Mighty titles. He's called the man of sin. Called the son of perdition. He's called the wicked one. He's the little horn of Daniel. He's the king of the astounding. He's the beast of revelation. And some of the scholars have found 40 or 50 other titles in the book for him. But we looked at his time, and his titles. But we're going to come closer to this character this evening, because I believe that this will be Satan's superman. Satan is going to put a superman on this planet, when the church goes and the Holy Spirit goes. And we're going to look very closely at him this evening. We're here in 2 Thessalonians, and we're reading in verse 3. 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 verse 3, and Paul is speaking to these saints at Thessalonica and saying, Let no man deceive you by any means. For thus they shall not come, except they come a-falling away first. And that was to say, And thus man of sin be revealed. The son of perdition. Who opposes and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped. So that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Remember ye not that when I was yet with you I told you these things. And now you know what withholdeth, that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity does already work. Only he who now let it will let until he be taken out of the way, and then shall that wicked be revealed. You see Paul was pretty sure that the devil even in that day was on the job. And that he was looking forward to the day when he would put his superman on the floor. Paul uses a great phrase here when he says, The mystery of iniquity doth already work. There are great many mysteries in this book. You remember once when we were going through the Corinthian letter, that I took a note of all the mysteries mentioned in the New Testament. There is the mystery of godliness. What is the mystery of godliness? It was God manifest in flesh. God walking on our planet. Top of the flesh. God manifest in flesh. You remember we talked about the mystery of the church. You remember Paul saying to the Corinthians, Behold I show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. There is the mystery of the translation, and transformation of the body of believers. There are great many mysteries in this book. But you want to get this settled in your mind, that because the word mystery is there, this is not something you can't understand. You see if the mystery was something you couldn't understand, it would be folly for Paul to say to the Corinthians, Behold I show you a mystery. A mystery in this book is not something that the human mind cannot comprehend, but it means this, that the human mind would never have thought about this thing, even in its wildest flight of imagination, if God had not revealed it. You see you would never have thought for a moment that some of us would leave this planet without dying. Neither would we be saved, you know, by the countless thousands who will never pass through the oracle of death. We shall not all sleep, we shall all be changed. You would never have thought that a poor sinner, sunk and on down and on free, almost damned in sin, you would never have thought that grace could have saved him in such a way that he would have become united to Christ, so much you could say that he was bone of Christ's bone and flesh of Christ's flesh. And that's the mystery of the church. We are united with Christ in a unity that will never be dissolved. You will have to destroy Christ to break the unity. You know about the mystery of godliness, you would never have thought about it. You would never have thought that God, who made the world, would come into the world. Yet it successed. He was in the world, and the world was made by him. And yet the world, in the world that he made, didn't know him. Now the mystery of the liquid is a strange one, isn't it? You would never have thought about it. You know, it's just a man on this planet, absolutely, entirely, continually, without any reservations, in control by Satan. Somebody taking over completely by Satan. Satan's superman. It's the mystery of the liquid. He would fall, says he, because the mystery of the liquid is already worked. Only he who now lets us will let the holy ghosts in the way yet, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that wicked be revealed. Verse 9. Even him whose coming is after the working of Satan, with all power and signs, and lying wonders. We are going to look closely at him this evening, because he's got power. There will be wonders wrought by this satanic, energized superman. You know, it has always been Satan's idea from the very beginning to be like God. Let's turn from where we are for the moment, and go to the book of the Revelation, chapter 13. The book of the Revelation, and we're at chapter 13, and you can see this man of sin again, it's another picture of him, because he's called the beast here, but we've already proved it's the same person. John says, And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, so on. And it says at the end of verse 2, And the dragon gave him his power, and his feet, and great authority. There's a tremendous lot in these little phrases, because you know who the dragon is. If you don't know who the dragon is, just turn back into chapter 12. It says in verse 7, And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon fought, and his angels, and prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the devil and said to him, God's not going to let you make any mistakes about the dragon, all the names are there. The dragon is the old serpent called the devil and Satan. That's plain enough. Holy Ghost is very particular about these personalities. And you see here in the book of the Revelation, that the dragon, the devil, Satan, is giving to this little man his power. Just infusing him with his satanical, diabolical power. Giving him a seat and great authority. We'll get into that in a moment. So that there are two great personalities there. And then when you go down to chapter 13 a little bit further, it says this in verse 11, John says, and I beheld another beast. That makes number three. First beast and then the dragon. The man of sin and the devil. And now another beast comes into view, and I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, and he speak as a dragon, and he exercised all the power of the first beast before him, and caught up the earth, and then it dwelled therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. Now this dragon, he seems to be directing the attention of the whole world upon the second one. Trying to get them all to worship the first beast. Now isn't it a trinity now? And I say it's a satanic trinity. You see the old devil has always wanted to be like God. And now he has formed a trinity on earth. He is the anti-God. And of course the beast, the man of sin, is the anti-Christ. And the third one is the anti-spirit. Because the work of the Holy Ghost tonight, is to get everybody to look at Christ. Jesus Christ said about the spirit of God, when he is come, he shall glorify me. That's how you know your preaching is right, because if the spirit is controlling you, Christ will be exalted in the preaching. He is a satanic trinity. The anti-God, the dragon. The anti-Christ, the beast. The anti-spirit, this false prophet. Because that's another name for him. You see when the Lord Jesus comes to destroy these two, see chapter 19, verse 19. John says, I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse and against his army. And the beast was taken. With him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshipped his image. You know they were both taken alive and cast into the lake of fire. That's a strange thing, and yet it's not so strange. You know if you look back across the pages of history, there are two men who went to heaven without dying. Enoch went. He didn't die, God took him. And Elijah went. They both went into heaven without dying. Adam will be betrothed down into hell without dying. Taken body, alive, put into hell. The beast and the false prophet, God would just lift them one day and bash them into the lowest depths. This is the satanic trinity. We'll come again to that. But it's this superman, this second person of this satanic trinity, that we want to get caught up to this evening. We want to see him first of all, of the wily politician. Because he's going to be in the parliament in the United States of Europe, I think he'd be the president. What a wily politician he is. Now we want to get this done very carefully this evening. It's the birth of the book of Daniel. And we're at the seventh chapter. Book of Daniel. And we're at the seventh chapter. And verse 24 will be us. We've been through the other bits. Daniel 7, 24. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings which shall arise. And another shall arise after them. That's the little horn of Daniel. And we found out that he is the same as the beast. And the man of sin. And he shall be diverse from the first. And he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against the most high. This is one of the marks that God has given us in this book, of identifying him. You can go into any of the great prophecies, and you'll always know if it's the Antichrist, before you're on the page, if you get this mark that God has given us like. It's his mouth. He's always speaking against the most high. Speaking blasphemies. Now we'll look at where we came from. Sorry to take you back again, but I think it's worth it. 2 Thessalonians, did you mark it as we pass by? I've got to go back and forwards to teach the class. When it talks at the end of verse 3, about the man of sin. The son of perdition. You'll notice the next word in verse 4, 2 Thessalonians 2 verse 4. Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God. All that is worshipped, so that he has God fitted in the temple of God. You'll find that he's opposing God. And everything that belongs to God. He's speaking great words against the most high. Did you see that beast in Revelation? Have a look at Revelation chapter 13 again, and just see the mark that's there. Revelation 13. And you'll notice this person. It says in verse 5. And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies. Did you get that? Yes, this mouth comes into it all the time. You know he's speaking blasphemies against the most high. And I'll tell you this. That this age that we're in is leading very slowly up to it. You know Lord Sutter. And I'm almost hesitating to take such a name on my lips. You know it was a book some years ago. And in the midst of it, you can read it for yourself and then you'll know. He said that the Lord Jesus slithered with nearly a martyr all the days of his life. Somebody said to me once that's getting terribly near to blasphemy. I said that's not near blasphemy, that is blasphemy. How dare any man say that my blessed Lord slithered with anybody. That's blasphemy. And that has been a curse on the true name of the Methodist Church. And you Methodists, you've got to face that. One of your presidents blasphemed my Saviour. And some of you never said a word about it. Some of you just smiled. Some of you were just silent. I will God hold you accountable. You can't go on with a bear like that you know. Now I'll tell you this, but Weatherhead is another Methodist. He wrote a book recently. And he said that Zacharias, who was a priest in the temple and who was an old man. He said that old Zacharias the priest got the young virgin Mary and he set her up in the temple. And he went in unto her every day and he kept her there until he made her pregnant. And that's where Christ came from. That's another Methodist principal, president. Oh you should hang your head in the bush. For killing a child like that. You are blasphemers. You don't want me to be happy in the Bible do you? Send me not then as we contend. For the faith, I won't stand up and let these men say this about the Lord without speaking up. Not on your life, I won't. I would never talk like this if I did. I'm not worried whether I upset you enough. If you're one of these old poor miserable Methodists who haven't got the guts to stand up. You deserve all you're getting. Oh my dear friends this is my Lord I'm defending. And I will not stand for it. That's for the moment. But you know this is just the lead up isn't it? In the Episcopal church in England now they need a new bishop the other week. The fellow who said a few weeks before Christ was a homosexuality. Christ played a homosexuality on the days of his life. He ran about with men. So they make him a bishop for that. They know what I would do with him. I wouldn't like to tell you. Certainly it wouldn't do him. This is the lead up you know. This is the lead up. This is the age we're living in and the drift is on. How dare any believer stand still and smile or even pretend to be silent when such blasphemies are spoken. The Lord Jesus expects more of you. He loved you. He gave himself for you. Is that true? And you would let them blaspheme his name? You're not worthy of Christ. Yes. But there's a day coming you know. The new superman will come out in the open and he'll blaspheme God and everything that belongs to God. These are only his forerunners that we are seeing. Yes he has a mouth. Speak great things against God. Have a look at Daniel 7 again until we see this character. Daniel 7 verse 25. And he shall speak great words against the Most High. And so there are the saints of the Most High. You know it's perfectly true that the church has gone. Ah but it's equally true that in that horrible day when this satanic diabolical superman from Satan is on the face of this planet. Breathing out his blasphemies against God. In that very day God shall bring out of this earth 144,000 witnesses for himself. They'll be the saints of that day. And they'll have to take a lot. Sometimes we think we're taking a lot. We know nothing about it. He'll try to wear them out. But I'll tell you this. There won't be one mission at the end of the three and a half years. They'll all be there. And his God can keep 144,000 for three and a half years for trillions. Yes he can. He can do it. We should be looking to God you know. Not the clock. That would be a miserable creature to be looking to. He would be looking to God. He would act like the saints of God just the same. I want you to notice this. That this character that's going to arise. He shall speak great words against the Messiah. And so wear out the saints of the Messiah. Now I want you to see him as a wily politician. And think to change times and laws. I wonder did you ever give that any study at all. It's a very wonderful statement you know. I think of course the laws are just the social laws. But I think that the times are divine times. Sometime when you get time you should study the times in books. Let me show you this. Have a look at Acts chapter 1. This is the day that the Lord Jesus left the Mount of Olives. Went away back to heaven. And just before he went. In verse 6, Acts 1. When they therefore were come together they asked of him say. Lord wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel. He was very anxious about this. And he said unto them it is not for you to know the times. Or the seasons which the father hath put in his own power. You know right across the course of history. God hath had times. For certain things. When Paul talked to the Thessalonians in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 about the rapture. He said you know I wouldn't like you to be ignorant about this. But when he came to chapter 5. He said there is no need that I write unto you. About the times and the seasons. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord shall show time. You see the day of the Lord is a period of this world's history. That God has marked out. It shall set in time. For when the Lord Jesus was to be born. God had it marked out. And when the fullness of the time was come. When this character meets with his king. God found it. Ah but he lost you know. That's how mighty he is. He is going to change times and laws. For he thinks. Well I know that there is quite a lot that will help him to change the social laws. The last labour parliament we had in on division. Or they brought in the divorce law. It's a far greater measure. And then they brought in homosexuality. You get a license for it now. Or they are changing laws. Because they brought in abortion. And that genius preacher. The preacher he threw out in the last election. Voted for abortion. No wonder he got thrown out. Yes. Oh we are just talking. I don't know. That's all. Change. Abortion is a horrible thing. You know when God talked to Jeremiah. He said this to him. Before I found thee in the belly. I knew thee. And when God found a child in the belly. God help you if you put your hand to it. You are not only murdering the child. But you are going against God. And the Labour government. Black people. Red. No wonder they got pitched out. Time they were pitched out. There are no labour or unions or anything. And just a bible teacher. That's all. Friend I want you to get the hold of this. That this character. That's coming to parliament. He thinks. That he'll change times. And law. That's his idea. You've been going to have a good look at this. While it's on the tissue this evening. This goes from Daniel 7 to Daniel 8. And this is the same person. We can easily prove this. He birthed 23. And in the latter time of their kingdom. When the transgressors had come to the fore. Our king of fierce countenance. And understanding dark sentences shall stand up. And what would you think is meant by the phrase. Understanding dark sentences. It's a mighty phrase isn't it. And certainly not God's word that is working this. Because God's word is life. Now I have a feeling that this fellow. Is going to get along with the devil. And he'll be able to listen in there right. He'll know every whisper. Comes from the heart of his master. Understand he understands dark sentences. I read in some book somewhere. I don't remember the title. I read it about Hitler. And in fact it was the local doctor who showed it to me. There in the last days of the war. He would shut himself up for hours. And seek the devil's help. Now there's a fellow born to do it better than him. He's coming. He's going to be a hard man to manage. He's got power you know to begin with the devil's. And he's got ideas about changing gods. Times. And social laws. And he'll understand. Dark sentences. What a character. You're beginning to see him. I hope you're saved and you never meet him. Friend I want you to notice this. Have a look at this. We're at chapter 8. We might as well do it when we're there. See verse 25. And through his policy also he shall cause class to prosper in his hand. You know that's devilish enough isn't it? You know I believe of course when the common market gets going. And the parliament is united. Both economically and politically and religiously. I believe this character will get so much help from the devil. That through his policy. He may cause to prosper. I believe the common market will prosper. But it's just going to be an allurement from the devil. Many a good man the devil has destroyed for prosperity. Many a good man. Yes you know he's going to make things go. Because I don't think he would ever get the whole world behind him. Unless he prospered the people a bit. You know it's the slightest things that he has to pay attention to. I preached with a great German preacher once. We were both preachers at the big convention. Sitting in the little vestry waiting for to go on the platform. I said did you fight with Hitler in the war? He said I did. I'm very sorry to say I didn't. I said did you really give your heart and soul to follow this character? He said I did. Really I did. I said I need to learn. Tell me what happens. They said as a young man 1928. About 18 years of age. In 1928 he said we had no work in the country. And we were down in Iceland. We were all in poverty. And then this fellow appears on the horizon. I didn't know him then. He said but you know he began to shove the Masonic Order about. And this about. And that about. And he began to get work going. And he said really by 1938 we were the best nation in Europe. And we were earning tons of money every man in the nation. That was just the forerunner wasn't it? Led the nation to hell. That's what he did. He prostrated them to go to hell. This is what the Antichrist will be about. The devil's on the job here. And I want you to look at this. It says in verse 25. And through his policy also he shall cause class to prosper in his hand. And he shall magnify himself in his heart. And by peace shall destroy many. If you've got a good reference margin of bible. You will find that the word peace in the margin is the word prosperity. And by prosperity shall destroy many. That's what he's after. You know this is diabolical isn't it? Because when you go to the book of the revelation. You see he never said to this. You can go to it now. Chapter 13. We were there a moment ago. But this is how we have to do it. Chapter 13. And you know this second beast. This sad prophet. This anti spirit if you like. It says in verse 16. He causes all those small and great and rich and poor and free and bond. To receive a march in their right hand or in their foreheads. And that no man might buy or sell. Save he that hath the mark hath the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. It's in the understanding of the number of the beast. For it is the number of a man. Number is 666. You know he's going to have a march anyway. You see he's a mighty character isn't he? He's got power and he's going to stand up and he's going to blaspheme God to his face. He's going to try to wear out those who are witnesses for God. And you know friends. He's going to have a mark placed on every inhabitant of the world. And if you don't receive it. Then neither buy nor sell. He's determined to blast out everything that will be for God. There's been so many things done with 666 that one wouldn't touch it. I just see it like this. Six. Well it was for such day that man was made. He's just a man. The six again is one less than seven. He's an imperfect man. And the sixth commandment is thou shalt not kill. And this imperfect killer. Is going to scatter the blood. Of all who stand up for God. And unless you have the mark you will not live. So he says. Yes you can see this wildly. Politician can't you? But we want to go a little bit further than that you know. He's not only a wily politician but he's a warrior king. I want you to follow this as best you can. It will be difficult but please try to follow it. If you go back to Daniel chapter 7. Daniel 7. And we've already read 24 but we'll do it again. 7 24. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise. The ten toes of Daniel's image. The United States of Europe if you like. And out of the United States another shall arise after them. This is this king of faith countenance. This is this man of sin. And he shall be divest from the first. I want you to get this. He shall subdue three things. He's going to have bother with them in the common market. They don't all pull the line after he gets in. He'll block them off. He's going to have bother with them in the common market. He's going to be a warrior king in there. He'll let them know what's what. Now I want you to go back to chapter 13 of Revelation. See I'm piecing it together and I think this is the best way to do it. Chapter 13. Speaking of him again it says in verse 5. And there was given unto him a mouse speaking great things and blasphemies. And power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. Three and a half years. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God the blasphemer's name. And his tub and neckle and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints. And to overcome them. Yes you know the common market is not only good to have trouble with them. I'll tell you this that all the witnesses for God's going to have trouble with them. Going to make war against them. What a day it will be. My to take your stand for God in that day will mean that you must be prepared to seal your testimony with your blood. It is where the text says he that endureth unto the end shall be saved. Don't put bringing it into the dispensation of grace you know. When the Philippine juror said what must I do to be saved. Paul didn't text endure unto the end. He said believe on the Lord Jesus and thou shalt be saved. Don't get the dispensation mixed up now. But let's see this warrior thing. Let's go back to chapter 8 of Daniel. I want you to see this bit because this is tremendous. Daniel chapter 8. Hebrews 9. Out of one of them came forth a little horn. That's the same person if we examine it all through. Which wept exceedingly toward the south, toward the east, toward the pleasant land. That would tell you where he came from. He doesn't come from the west, nor the east, nor the south. He's coming from the north. And it wept great, now watch this. Even to the host of heaven. And it cast down some of the hosts. And of the stars to the grass and stamped upon them. Imagine the angels are going to have trouble with it. Now that's a difficult one isn't it. You never dreamed of this. You can start to see him defeating the kings in the common markets. And you know that he can murder the saints. But now he's leveling his power against the very angels. The host of heaven. Throwing some of them down and stamping. You see, you forget that he's got Satan's power. And the old devil has made war with the angels before the day. And this man is going to have mighty power. Even the angels in heaven are going to have trouble with him. This is the mighty character. I want you to get the hold of this. I want you to see this. You see chapter 8, you see 25. You see his policy also he shall cause class to prosper in his hands. And he shall magnify himself in his heart. And by peace shall destroy many. He shall also stand up against the prince of princes. You know that's it. I wouldn't need to teach a class like this, that. Don't put on the Lord Jesus cloak. Oh, I told you this is a bold boy. This boy's going to have trouble with his character. Have a look at what it says. Way back in Revelations chapter 17. Revelations 17. I wouldn't dare to go through this class without reading this. Verse 12. And the ten horns which thou sawst are ten kings. Which have received no kingdom as yet, but received power as kings. One hour with the beast. Throwing in their lot with the beast. These have one mind and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb. Did you get that bit? Because that's right on the page. Here's the bit you want to lick your lips over. And the Lamb shall overcome. You should say Amen. That's right. And that's the one that led him. Amen. You're getting your waking up now. And that's right. Can't forget we're about to forget you now. That is. Yes. I want you to see this as a warrior character. I want you to see they're going to have trouble with him in the common market. And the witnesses for God are going to have great trouble. And the angels in heaven are going to have great trouble. And he's going to attack the Lord evil. He's such a character. We're getting terribly close to him. We're sketching out his picture bit by bit. It's a sort of picture clip I'm putting together. But you know I want you to get this into your mind. That he's not only a wily politician and a warrior king. But he longs to be a worshipped leader. This is the whole thing you know. It's worse of the disaster. Not content with being the Superman. Or the President of the United States of Europe. Or being a warrior against God and the host of heaven. You know he wants the world to worship him. That's what he's after. But you know he'll have to get some sort of religious system to work that out. And I'm going to take up the religious system next week that he selects to work out his diabolical ideas through. Now take time with it. And I'll show you for once and for all what system he will select. And you shouldn't miss the class. Even if you have the flu you should come. I should have seen him you know. Let's have a look at this. We were at 2 Thessalonians. Did you notice this? You know it says of him in verse 4. That he opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped. 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 verse 4. So that he as God sits within the temple of God showing himself that he is God. You know I think the Jews are going to build the temple one of these days. Maybe now that the cease fire is on. You never know what will appear in Jerusalem. Maybe the next time that we go back there we might see the temple being built up yonder on that temple site in Jerusalem. I'm sure it will happen. But in that very Jewish temple this man will sit and he will say he is God. He wants worship. This is what the old devils asked her all the time. He said to the Lord Jesus. If thou fall down and worship me I will give thee a whole world. Have a look again at Revelation 13. And just see this bit. Revelation 13. And this beast arises. And it says in verse 3. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death. And his deadly wound was healed. And all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast. And they worshipped the beast. See verse 8. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him. Whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. You know he wants the whole world and he is going to get the whole world. All those whose names are not written. You know even this second beast. His idea is this. See verse 14. He deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast. Saying to them that dwell on the earth that they should make an image to the beast. Which hath the wound by a sword in the blood. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast. That the image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. What a day it will be. You know he is asked for this worship. He does not want to be this wily politician. Or even the warrior king. He wants to be the worshipped leader. He wants himself to be the wonder man. You know I want you to follow this very carefully here. Verse 3 in chapter 13. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death. And his deadly wound was healed. And all the world wondered after the beast. Now I want you to go to chapter 17. Verse 7. And the angel said unto me. That is the angel who is speaking to John. Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman. And of the beast that carries her. Which hath seven heads and ten horns. The beast that thyself was and is not. And shall ascend out of the bottomless pit and go into perdition. And they that dwell from the earth shall wonder. Whose names were not written in the book of life. From the foundation of the world. When they beheld the beast that was and is not and yet is. You know I think he is going to worship sick here. And he is going to make the world wonder. I put a lot of thought into this. And I cannot be dogmatic about it. And you don't need to accept it unless you want to. I believe of course. That the tenfold of Daniel's image is the common market. And will be the united states of Europe as all church so long for. And out of this great western parliament will this wily politician arise. This warrior king. This one who longs for worship more than anything else. And I think to be the wonder man he is going to use television. He can do anything on television you know. I have seen the fellow walking up the wall and along the floor and down the other side the other night. He can do anything at all on television. And I have a feeling you know. That there is going to be a great master procession somewhere. And all the world will be commanded to watch. And if you don't watch they will come and get you. The world will have to do as they are told in those days. Then God will not be here. And I believe there will be staged the death of this great man. Someone will watch him and assassinate him. It will be a stage to say. And he will lie in space. And as the world watches and wonders and possibly weeps. He will rise again. Have a shock. He will be called the one that was and is not and yet is. And what he said to me you know he being the son of prediction. Maybe this is Judas brought back again from the dead. I said son Judas hadn't the brains for this job. He is too big a book to be brought under these shoes. Now he is damned. Friend we are beginning to focus light on this great personality. We saw the time when he came. We watched the battle. Now we have seen him as a wily politician. We have seen him as a warrior leader. We have seen him as a worshipped one. And as the one man. Now we need to take a step forward next week. We want to see him taking some system. To make a world then. And worship it. That system. You don't miss next week. We will take what time and get what.
