Hi!I've been registered here for awhile but never actually posted till today.I guess my only real purpose for this post is to thank all involved here at Sermon Index for the wonderful resource this is! It's been something I've been very grateful for.As for a little about me:33, maleWife and a baby boy due on July 1stWould consider myself saved two and a half years ago at 30yrs old though I always called myself a Christian, grew up in a Christian home and was baptized at 6.My buddy Josh and I have a ministry in Canton Oh (Stand Ministry for the Gospel) where we walk the streets a bit talking with people and have worship on Fridays. We have no idea where we are going with it but it's been a blessing since we began in March.Looking forward to the occasional post here and looking in on the discussion. As a sidenote, I tend to get bogged down with message boards sometimes and hate arguing/debating over the internet. It gets rough too often. I'll try to keep myself out of things for that reason. Thanks for the company!

Thanks!I actually have over 70 sermons on my iPod that I've listened to over the years from this site including each of those. The Ten Shekels and a Shirt message was actually the reason why I began to listening his So Great A Salvation Series and in part, a reason why we've gone about our ministry for the Lord in the way we have.I suppose I'll list some authors I've enjoyed reading books from over these past few years:RavenhillTozer (Let Us Go On Unto Perfection is my favorite sermon)EdwardsSpurgeonFinneyJohn OwensJohn FlavelJohn Wesley (I just have a collection of his sermons)Dr. Martyn Lloyd JonesArthur PinkT. Austin Sparks (read the Centrality of Christ thanks to a sermon here)E.M. BoundsJohn BunyanDavid BrainerdWilliam Gurnall (been joyfully slugging my way through the 1,200 page "Christian in Complete Armour" thanks to a video of Ravenhill chastising others for not reading it :))Mark K
