Desperately Needed Word
This was powerfully convicting to my own soul. Owe how convicting the part about us saints standing before the judgement seat hearing the book of rememberance being read about our life. Even if we live holy, what about if we Hebrews 2:3A- How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation. rnieman Colossians 1:28 28Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

The Judgment Seat Of Christ
Leonard Ravenhill paints an amazing picture of what the judgments of God will be like when all humanity stands for judgment before God. He describes the Great White Throne judgment with all the people, great and small, who will be judged, and all the events and sins that will be revealed. He describes the misery of hell that those who are judged will face. Then he turns his attention to the Judgment Seat of Christ for believers. Leonard describes the saints and all the rewards they will receive for their works on earth. He uses an inspiring example of John Wesleys life. He also issues a very powerful challenge and rebuke to the powerless and backslidden church that doesnt live for the final judgment but for the pleasures of this world. This is a very powerful and inspiring message that every Christian is sure to benefit from.

Much Needed Sermon
This message needs to be pronounced in the Church today. I am afraid that many Christians fail to realize that a day of judgment is coming, and accordingly are not living as we ought. We need reminders, often,to live our lives so as to please God, and not to forget that we are going to be held acountable.

Convicted or Critical?
I can imagine that there will be many who "know better" who will find this sermon to be long in the tooth and short in the memory. But the true believer will substantiate this message in pangs and pitterpats not invited, but welcomed in their hearts. God's blessings.

The Subject Matter
I heard Brother Ravenhill preach this message in the late 80's in a smaller church, and also speak on this subject with other ministers. I wondered then and I wonder still, if we ministers really comprehend what it means to stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ one day and be fully exposed? This is another message of Christ that must be watered by much prayer and heart searching. Oh that more would preach Christ in such a manner and on such a subject. Fresh manna from heaven; not like the grocery store bread that is sold everywheretoday, -with dough conditioners, additives and another 20 ingredients, but no substance that fills a hungry soul!

I thank God for this Web-site it is truly a blessing.Wnere are the men of God today who not afraid to preach hell. When I listen to a sermon like this I wonder how much cheap grace and humanism I'm polluted with.

Judgement Seat of Christ Leonard Ravenhill
I listended to this sermon. Mr Ravenhill preaches as though with an urgency that is givrn from above. Holy Spirit empowered preaching. Those readers who are reading this comment - This is a confrontation from on High and cannot be lightly listened to. There is a giganitic storehouse of grief being created on earth and in Eternity. Only Christ, the mighty sin bearer can bring relief to those stricken with the grief of sin. The condition is contrition. I implore all pastors reading this word to preach the whole counsel of God with the utmost urgency. May God pour out His Spirit in His mercy.

One of the top sermons ever
This is one of the top five sermons I've ever heard and I don't think many would disagree. Although a different topic I think it's at the level of "Ten Shekels And A Shirt" A life changing sermon.

Convicting
We Don't Hear preaching like this in most of our churches. I love this kind of teaching because it causes you to see the Goodness and the severity of our Holy God. In this age of seeker friendly, feel good, and self seeking church we miss this kind of teaching. We need this kind of teaching to sober us up!!!! Whatever you do please listen to this message it will cause you to think of eternity, fear god and love him for what he has done for us. Friends when we listen to preaching like this we will thank him with all of our heart for the great salvation he has purchased for us.

Stamping Eternity

Ravenhill expounding the Judgment Seat of Christ. What more can I say? There are sections of this sermon where I just go breathless as the awesome majesty of Jehovah is revealed. Only praying, holy preachers can do this. The terrible doom of eternal judgment! Man, this is the stuff we need to hear!

In Re: Judgment Seat of Christ by Leonard Ravenhill We truly need more sermons such as this. I found it very well written and most inspiring. I am somewhat troubled by the words spoken in regard to pictures of Jesus. I find the pictures in my home of Jesus to remind me of His love, peace, joy, and all the fruit of the Holy Spirit. God looks upon the heart and will bring to light that; which dishonors or displeases Him. His word never comes back void. Thank you! God bless you! Blueangel

Giant of the Pulpit!

A swift message on Christ the Great Arbiter of the day of wrath. I think even a heathen would say that the Spirit of God was on this man. Ravenhill was a harbinger of revival. Let's carry the torch!

Trumpet Blast!!
"Only one life, twill soon be past, only what's done for Christ will last. And when I am dying, how happy I'll be, if the lamp of my life has been burned out for Thee." This message is a trumpet blast to the church of our day! are we thinking on eternity? on the future judgement where all our actions, motives, ministries will be exposed before the one that we have to show account.
