I heard that the former lesbian who is a Christian now (the actual birth-mother who fled) was able to escape with the child before they arrested Tim, and is in hiding (Edit: I don't know that for sure, that's just what I heard). Hopefully, this ruling will help her case--whether or not she is found or comes out of hiding.
This story well illustrates the concept that the way of the transgressor is hard. Also that you cannot play with sin and not get burned! And...when you sin you also create a storm for other people. (Chuck Swindoll using Jonah's story to illustrate this fact.)
