Job 40

Edwards

Job 40:2-4

Job 40:2-4. Since Job had undertaken to find fault with God and His dispensations, and to desire an opportunity to dispute with Him, that he might argue the matter of the erroneousness of His dispensations with him, he is now called upon by God to ‘answer’ to what He had said, and speak in his turn. But now Job declines it and owns he has nothing to answer - “Behold, I am vile,” etc.

Job 41:11
