Job 30:24

Job 30:24. “Howbeit He will not stretch out His hand to the grave” i.e., to rescue men from death. Every man must die and be retained in the grave, - “the redemption of the life is precious, and it ceaseth for ever;” - God will recover man from thence to live again in this world, [though they cry in His destruction,] though they dread death never so much when death comes, and would never so earnestly cry to be delivered from the grave.
