Psalms 123:2

untill that he have mercy upon us] Untill he deliver us out of this misery. This argues constancy in prayer, Luke 18. 1, 7.

Psalms 123:3

we are exceedingly filled with contempt] Psalms 88:3. When the faithfull are so full, that they can no more endure the oppressions and scornings of the wicked, then with hungry desires they cry for help, not ceasing till they obtain it, 2 Chron. 20. 12.
