PGW-04 3. Gods love for us

1 min read · Chapter 4 of 82

3. Gods love for us For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 For while we were yet weak, in due season Christ died for the ungodly. . . But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Rom 5:6; Rom 5:8 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Jehovah hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Isa 53:5-6 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became as it were great drops of blood falling down upon the ground.

Luk 22:44 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Mat 27:46

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Gal 3:13 knowing that ye were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from your vain manner of life handed down from your fathers; but with precious blood, as of a lamb without spot, even the blood of Christ:

1Pe 1:18-19 who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.

1Pe 2:24
