- Study of Types
STUDY OF TYPES 1. Be sure you have Biblical warrant for your supposed type.
2. Begin with more simple and evident types, e.g., Passover (Exodus 12:1-51 and 1 Corinthians 5:7); High Priest; Tabernacle.
3. Be on your guard against the fanciful and overstrained.
4. In studying any passage of possible typical suggestion, look up all the Scripture references.
5. Study carefully the meaning of the names of persons and places mentioned.
