Status: Unconditional (In the verses preceding the covenant, God gives a few prohibitions, including assigning the death penalty for murder and reaffirming man’s dominion over the Earth - these do not seem to be a part of the covenant, but rather a restatement of parts of the Patriarchal covenant.)
