“Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?” Pilate asked.

And Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

And Pilate said in answer to them, Is it your desire that I let the King of the Jews go free?

“Do you want me to release to you the King of Jews?” he asked them,

Then Pilate answered them, and said, Will ye that I let loose vnto you the King of ye Iewes?

But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

Pilate [Armed with javelin] answered them, saying, “Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews [Praisers]?”

Pilate knew that the bosses of the Jewish ceremonies were jealous of Jesus, and that was the only reason why they brought him to Pilate. They wanted Pilate to kill him. So when those Jerusalem people asked Pilate to let a prisoner go free, Pilate said, “All right, how about I let Jesus go? You reckon he says that he is your big boss. What do you reckon, will I let him go?” But the ceremony bosses got all those people to be angry with Jesus, and those people told Pilate, “No. Not him. We want you to let Barabbas go free.”

Pilate answered them, “Would you like me to release for you the man whom you Jewish people say is your king?”

Pilate answered them and said, “Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”

But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release to you the King of the Jews?

Pilate answered them, saying, “Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”

and Pilate answered them, saying, 'Will ye [that] I shall release to you the king of the Jews?'
