13They must not approach Me to serve Me as priests or come near any of My holy things or the most holy things. They will bear the shame of the abominations they have committed.
14Yet I will appoint them to keep charge of all the work for the temple and everything to be done in it. 15But the Levitical priests, who are descended from Zadok and who kept charge of My sanctuary when the Israelites went astray from Me, are to approach Me to minister before Me. They will stand before Me to offer Me fat and blood, declares the Lord GOD.Cross References

Ezekiel 44:13 Summary
[Ezekiel 44:13 is saying that some people who used to serve in the temple will not be allowed to serve as priests anymore because they did some very bad things, like worshiping idols, and now they have to live with the shame of what they did, as a reminder that our actions have consequences, as seen in Galatians 6:7-8. This verse is teaching us that God takes sin very seriously and that we need to be careful to obey Him and follow His commands, as stated in Deuteronomy 28:1-2. It's also showing us that God is a holy God who wants us to be holy too, and that we need to be careful not to do things that will separate us from Him, as encouraged in 1 Peter 1:15-16. By following God's commands and living a life of obedience, we can demonstrate our love and commitment to Him, as seen in John 14:15.]
