Ezekiel 25:14 Summary
This verse, Ezekiel 25:14, tells us that God will take revenge on the nation of Edom because they treated His people, the Israelites, very badly. God will use the Israelites to punish Edom, and this will show Edom how angry God is with them (as seen in Ezekiel 25:12). This teaches us that God is a fair and just God who will not tolerate wrongdoing, and we can trust Him to take care of situations where people are being treated unfairly, just like He promised in Deuteronomy 32:4. By seeing God's justice played out, we can learn to trust Him more and have faith in His goodness.

Who will carry out God's vengeance on Edom?

Is God's vengeance on Edom still relevant today?
While the specific historical context of Ezekiel 25:14 may not be directly applicable today, the principle of God's justice and vengeance remains relevant, as seen in Romans 12:19, where believers are reminded not to take revenge, but instead to leave room for God's wrath.
