1 Kings 7:51 Summary
This verse tells us that King Solomon finished building the temple, and then he brought in special items that his father David had set aside for God. These items, including silver, gold, and furnishings, were placed in a safe and sacred place in the temple. This shows us that God is worthy of our best and that we should be willing to give our resources and talents to Him, just as David and Solomon did (see 2 Corinthians 9:6-7). By doing so, we can honor God and support the work of His kingdom, just as they did in their time.
