1 Chronicles 22:5 Summary
[This verse shows us that David was a wise and faithful leader who wanted to make sure that the Temple would be built in a way that would honor God. He recognized that his son Solomon was young and inexperienced, but he also knew that Solomon was the one who would ultimately be responsible for building the Temple, as seen in 1 Chronicles 28:5-10. David made preparations for the Temple because he wanted to ensure that it would be a beautiful and glorious place where people could come to worship God, just like the Tabernacle was in Exodus 25:1-9. By doing so, David was following the example of the Lord, who instructed Moses to build the Tabernacle according to the pattern shown to him on the mountain, in Exodus 25:40.]
