In all aspects of life, believers are called to labor with diligence and dedication, knowing that their efforts are ultimately for the Lord. According to Colossians, whatever task is undertaken, it should be done heartily, as if working directly for God. The apostle Paul encourages perseverance in 1 Corinthians, reminding believers that their labor is not in vain. Jesus Himself demonstrated a strong work ethic, saying in John that His Father is always working, and Luke records the angel's affirmation to Mary that nothing is impossible with God, inspiring faith and diligence in service.
