The ultimate reckoning of humanity's deeds is a solemn reality throughout Scripture. According to Hebrews 9:27, each person will face judgment after death, and 2 Corinthians 5:10 reveals that believers will give an account of their actions to receive their eternal rewards. The Bible warns of a terrible fate for the unrepentant, as seen in 2 Peter 2:4, while Romans 2:5 cautions that God's patience will eventually give way to wrath. On that final day, as described in Revelation 20:11-12, all will stand before the throne of God, their works and hearts laid bare, to receive the verdict that will determine their eternal destiny.
