10 Bible Verses on Teaching the Word

10 verses

Scripture is the foundation of Christian teaching, as seen in 2 Timothy 3:16, which emphasizes its inspiration and usefulness for instruction. The Word of God is to dwell richly within believers, as noted in Colossians 3:16, guiding their thoughts and actions. Those who teach the Word are called to be diligent in their study and presentation, as encouraged in 2 Timothy 2:15, and are held to a high standard of accountability, as warned in James 3:1. Ultimately, the Word itself is living and active, as described in Hebrews 4:12, able to transform and renew those who receive it.

Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Consequently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you.
