11 Bible Verses on Service

11 verses

Serving others is a fundamental aspect of the Christian life, as believers are called to use their gifts and talents to bless and support one another. According to 1 Peter 4:10, each person has received a special gift, and they are to use it to serve others. The apostle Paul teaches in Galatians 5:13 that Christians have been called to freedom, but this freedom is not for self-indulgence, rather to serve one another in love. Jesus Himself set the ultimate example of service, as recorded in Mark 10:45, where He came not to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many, and Colossians 3:23-24 encourages believers to work heartily, as if serving the Lord.
