In times of trouble, God's presence offers a refuge of safety and protection. According to Psalms 46:1, He is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in distress. The prophet Isaiah reassures us that no weapon formed against us will prosper, as stated in Isaiah 54:17, and Isaiah 41:10 reminds us not to fear, for God will uphold us with His righteous right hand. The apostle Paul also cautions against taking revenge, instead leaving room for God's wrath, as seen in Romans 12:19, while Psalms 32:7 promises that God will hide us in the secret place of His presence, protecting us from trouble.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD.
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness.
Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for God’s wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.”
You are my hiding place. You protect me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah
