19 Bible Verses on Pressure

19 verses

In the face of trials and hardships, believers are called to trust in God's sovereignty and provision. According to Romans 12:2, they are to be transformed by renewing their minds, rather than conforming to the pressures of the world. The apostle Paul assures us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that God will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, and James 1:12 promises a crown of life to those who persevere under pressure. Psalms 118:5-6 and 1 Peter 1:6-7 also remind us that God is our refuge and that our faith is refined and strengthened through trials, ultimately leading to a deeper trust in His goodness and faithfulness.

For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. Am I now seeking the approval of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
