14 Bible Verses on Our Purpose

14 verses

God has a plan for each person's life, as expressed in Jeremiah 29:11, where He promises to give us hope and a future. According to Romans 8:28, He works all things together for the good of those who love Him, guiding our steps and directing our paths, as stated in Proverbs 16:9. Jesus teaches in John 15:16 that He chose us to bear fruit, indicating a purposeful role for believers. The apostle Paul's own calling, as recounted in Acts 26:16, illustrates how God can redirect our lives to fulfill His purposes, demonstrating that our lives have meaning and direction in His plan.

Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
