8 Bible Verses on Men Working

8 verses

The Bible teaches that men have a responsibility to work and provide for their families. In Genesis, God gave Adam the task of caring for the Garden of Eden, establishing work as a fundamental part of human purpose. The New Testament reinforces this idea, with 1 Timothy instructing men to provide for their households and 1 Thessalonians encouraging them to work quietly and depend on no one. Additionally, Colossians and Ephesians emphasize the importance of working with integrity and diligence, doing so as unto the Lord, and using one's skills to benefit others, as seen in Ephesians 4:28.
