In times of great tribulation, believers are called to persevere and remain faithful. According to Luke 21:36, prayer and vigilance are essential for escaping the trials that will come upon the world. The apostle John warns that the whole world is under the control of the evil one, as stated in 1 John 5:19, and believers must be aware of this spiritual battle, as described in Ephesians 6:12. Ultimately, enduring to the end is crucial, as Jesus teaches in Matthew 24:13, and those who remain faithful will be rewarded, as promised in Revelation 2:10.

And they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

God told him that his descendants would be foreigners in a strange land, and that they would be enslaved and mistreated four hundred years. ‘But I will punish the nation that enslaves them,’ God said, ‘and afterward they will come forth and worship Me in this place.’
