10 Bible Verses on Following Man

10 verses

Blindly following human leaders or traditions can lead to spiritual darkness, as warned in Matthew 15:14, where Jesus cautions against following the blind. This danger is also highlighted in Psalms 118:8-9, which advises against trusting in princes or putting confidence in human leaders. The book of Proverbs, in 14:12, notes that there is a way that seems right to man, but its end is destruction. The apostle Paul also addressed the problem of divisions and following human leaders in 1 Corinthians 1:10-13, urging believers to be united in their devotion to Christ. By contrast, Jesus teaches in Matthew 15:9 that following human traditions can lead to vain worship.
