9 Bible Verses on Discipling

9 verses

As believers grow in their walk with God, they are called to invest in the spiritual development of others. The apostle Paul models this in 1 Corinthians, where he invites the Corinthian church to imitate him as he follows Christ. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commissions His disciples to make more disciples, teaching them to obey all He commanded. Through regular gathering, mutual encouragement, and the teaching of Scripture, as seen in Hebrews 10:24-25 and Colossians 3:16, believers can help one another mature in faith, and James 5:16 highlights the importance of prayer in this process.
