What good is it, my brothers, if someone claims to have faith, but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you tells him, “Go in peace; stay warm and well fed,” but does not provide for his physical needs, what good is that? So too, faith by itself, if it does not result in action, is dead.
If anyone does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? When did we see You sick or in prison and visit You?’ And the King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’ Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men,
The entire law is fulfilled in a single decree: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Beloved, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
