God is concerned with the way His people conduct their daily work and business affairs. In Deuteronomy, He reminds us that our ability to produce wealth is a gift from Him, and we are to acknowledge and honor Him in all our endeavors. The book of Proverbs teaches that honesty and integrity are essential in business, while Leviticus warns against exploiting or cheating others. As Colossians instructs, whatever we do, we are to do it with sincerity and dedication, knowing that we ultimately serve the Lord, whether in our work or in our interactions with others.

But remember that it is the LORD your God who gives you the power to gain wealth, in order to confirm His covenant that He swore to your fathers even to this day.
Dishonest scales are an abomination to the LORD, but an accurate weight is His delight.
Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men,
You must not defraud your neighbor or rob him. You must not withhold until morning the wages due a hired hand.
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
It is well with the man who is generous and lends freely, whose affairs are guided by justice.
