23 Bible Verses on Astrology

23 verses

The pursuit of guidance from the stars and celestial bodies is addressed in Scripture as a form of idolatry and a rejection of God's sovereignty. In Deuteronomy and Jeremiah, the Israelites are warned against being led astray by the practices of surrounding nations, which include astrology. Isaiah and Daniel record instances where pagan astrologers are shown to be powerless and ignorant of God's plans, highlighting the futility of seeking wisdom from the stars rather than the Creator. Leviticus also prohibits seeking guidance from mediums and astrologers, emphasizing the need to seek God's wisdom alone.

Your dream and the visions that came into your mind as you lay on your bed were these:

For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD. And because of these detestable things, the LORD your God is driving out the nations before you.
