Reliance

In the New Testament, Philippians 4:19 reassures believers that "my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus," further emphasizing the notion that reliance on God encompasses both spiritual and physical needs. Overall, reliance in the biblical context is a central aspect of faith that calls for an active, ongoing relationship with God, marked by trust, devotion, and acknowledgment of His sovereignty.
