The term "Native Indian" does not appear in the Bible, as the text was written long before the existence of the indigenous peoples of the Americas was known to the authors of the biblical texts. The Bible primarily focuses on the ancient Near Eastern context, addressing the cultures and peoples of that region, such as the Israelites, Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, and others.However, if one seeks to reflect on the biblical understanding of nations and peoples, it is essential to consider the broader biblical principle of God's relationship with all humanity. For instance, in Genesis 1:27, it is stated that all humans are created in the image of God, which affirms the value and dignity of every ethnic group and culture, including Native Indians. Moreover, Revelation 7:9 envisions a diverse multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language standing before the throne of God, indicating God's inclusive plan for all nations throughout history. While specific references to Native Indians are absent, the Bible upholds the inherent worth of every culture and people group in the eyes of God.
