Furthermore, James 1:19 instructs believers to 'be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger,' highlighting the transformative power of listening in fostering relationships and promoting peace. Godly listening also involves discerning the voice of God, as described in John 10:27, where Jesus states, 'My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.' By cultivating a heart that listens, we align ourselves with God's will, allowing His truth to penetrate our hearts and guide our actions.
