whence : P Oxy II. 237 viii. 33 (A.D. 186) δηλοῦντες πόθεν ἕκαστος τῶν ὑπαρχόντων καταβ̣ε̣βηκεν εἰς αὑτοὺς ἡ κτῆσνεύις , severally declaring the sources from which the property acquired has come into their possession (Edd.). For the enclitic ποθέν , cf.
