I believe genuine revival is necessary for the Church around the world, and each generation must have a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit. The Church has lasted for 2,000 years because the Holy Spirit continues to push it along. And if the Spirit's not involved, if we're not living lives that He can use, there won't be a next generation of Christians. So we must surrender. He must fill us with His love, His love for those who don't know Him so that we can tell them, but His love for those who do know Him so that we can help them. Together, we can all end up around the throne. There's nothing greater that we can have than the filling of the Holy Spirit in the whole Church. I'm not talking about one tradition or another, the entire body of Christ. Each generation needs to be refueled for the completion of the Great Commission.
