Mar Mari Emmanuel explains that God created humans to be kings with dominion, and despite the fall, His will is to restore us to this royal purpose through surrender to Jesus Christ.
In this sermon, Mar Mari Emmanuel teaches that humans were created to be kings in the image of God, but the fall disrupted this divine plan. He explains how humanity's search for fulfillment in worldly ideologies fails, and only through surrender to Jesus Christ can we reclaim our royal identity and purpose. The sermon emphasizes the spiritual battle between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of the world, urging believers to surrender fully to God's will and live as servants expanding His kingdom.

How can we find out what is God's will in our lives? God's will, after the human race fell into sin, after we broke his word, after that moment, God's will was one thing, for everyone to be saved and everyone to come back to him and live in his presence forever. This is God's will. What is God's will for us? For us to be delivered, for us to be saved, and for us to enter eternal life in his kingdom, in his holy house in heaven.
Now, what was God's will prior to the human fall? God's will was for everyone to be a king, for everyone to be a king. And for this very reason, Adam was created the very last thing out of all God's creations. The Lord God created the heavens and the earth, as Genesis 1.1 talks in the beginning, Elohim created the heavens and the earth.
And then he came to the earth and he created everything that was necessary to come into existence. And after the Lord God had finished of creating the heavens and the earth and filling the earth with everything that is needed, the very last thing God made, not created, but God made was Adam. And the Lord God said, let us go down and make man in our image according to our likeness.
Genesis chapter, you read that in the beginning of Genesis. So, Adam was made in the image and the likeness of God. And he was the last thing.
Why? Because Adam is the image and the likeness of God. God, in his nature, he is the king. God, in his nature, he is the king.
And since he created us in his image, according to his likeness, so he created us to be kings. That's why in Genesis 1.26, the Lord God says, let us give dominion to this man whom we create. What is dominion? Meaning he rules, he reigns, he conquers.
And the king rules, the king reigns, the king conquers. The reason why Adam was brought last, since he is a king, therefore a king cannot be without a kingdom. So, a king cannot claim his kingship without having a kingdom.
That is why it was necessary for the kingdom to be made first in order for that king to come. Now, my beloved, I'll say this. If I ask any one of us, whether we are Christians or not, regardless what our religious background is or is not, if I ask any human being, why do you change places? Why do you, for example, you were living in this area, you moved to another area.
You were living in this country, you moved to another country, from one city to another, from one state to another. If I ask anyone, why did you seek another place? The answer will not be, I went from one country to the other, from one place to the other, seeking religion. That will never be the answer.
The only time we change places, because we are seeking a better place, we are seeking a safer place, we are seeking a place where we hope to find that place that will give us everything we lack and everything we miss and everything we need. I seek a place for safety, security, prosperity and fulfillment of my lacking. This is the only reason why we change places and countries.
I will never ever change my country seeking religion, but I change my country seeking freedom. As we say, we are all, the whole entire human race is seeking this utopia, the utopian world, the perfect world where it gives me and provides for me everything I have been in need of. And that's why we move and we change places.
Why? Because we were created in the very beginning to be kings. The king naturally has for himself, he owns that place, that place is him. The king always seeks a place, the king does not seek a religion, he seeks a place.
The entire human race since the fall, this creation of God, Adam, till this very moment, every human being is seeking this utopian world, the perfect world. We are seeking a place where we find our freedom, our security, our prosperity, our everything that we are looking for and seeking and searching. No, and the more we look in this world for the perfect world, the more we ruin everything, because we are searching in the wrong place.
So the human race came up with all these different ideologies, hoping that in that perfect world. So we came up with something called communism, we came up with something called naturalism, we came up with something called democracy. We came up with so many different belief systems and ways, hoping that we will get to this perfect world through all these different systems that we've created.
The more we came up with these different ideologies, the more we destroyed and decimated our values. And we never found that peace, we never found that fulfillment, because we have been till this moment looking and searching in the wrong place. There is only one place which is the perfect world, which is the utopian world, and that place is not a country, it is a person called Jesus Christ of Nazareth, all glory to him.
The moment any human being finds the Lord, that person finds his kingdom. Because this is the land that I must inherit, this is the kingdom that I must inherit, but I am seeking my kingdom in the world for getting something very important, the prince of the world. So how can satan give me peace? How can satan give me prosperity? How can satan give me life, security, since he is the father of all lies and the killer of mankind from the very beginning.
What do people do in the world? Seeking the perfect world, they destroy one another, they kill one another, they take one another of their very basic human rights and touch of something foundational, the right to be a human. So God's will is, prior to the fall, he wanted us to be kings, rulers, not slaves. After the fall, that is his will, and bring us back to this kingship, bring us back to this kingship, but that kingship, he promised it up there in heaven, not on earth.
Here we will suffer. Those who follow the Lord shall be persecuted, shall be rejected, shall be cast out, shall be trampled underfoot, shall be killed and slain, but there all of us will be kings to the thrones, kings. I know whether God wants me to get married or to give my life to him.
Beloved, God will definitely let you know whether he wants you to get married or he wants you to marry him and be his bride, live for him. He will definitely let you know. He will put it in and no matter how many times you try to run away from it, how many times you try to erase it from your memory, how many times you try to preoccupy yourself with so many things in this life in order to forget about whatever that thought has been bombarding you with, you will never be able to run away with what God has prepared for you to do.
So, for example, if the Lord Jesus wants you to be a priest, until kingdom comes, you will be and he will make sure that this is his will. Now, there is one thing I must say. If we become stubborn and with all the very clear messages and signs and you name it, that the Lord has been sending my way through people, through dreams, through visions, through encounters in my life and through the conscience, God talks to us through the conscience internally.
His voice, he brings it to us internally. If we become stubborn and avoid all this and insist on hearing his voice or shutting the door in his face, then we will encounter a lot of troubles in our life because what is good for me, the only one who loves me the most is Jesus Christ. The Lord will never ever give you something that is not good for you.
The Lord will never ever give you something that is not going to be a reason for your blessings, for your prosperity and for your success. Impossible. The one who died for you and rose from the dead for you will never come back to hurt you.
He hurt himself to give you comfort. He died to give you eternal life. Trust in the Lord and if that voice of the Lord is still there after one month, after six, after one year, after two, after three, after four, after ten years and you've been ignoring it, you've been avoiding it, stop running away from the Lord and stop resisting the Lord.
Surrender my beloved, surrender. You know when we stand to pray, why do we lift up our hands? Have you ever wondered why? Why do we lift up our hands to pray? See, the Lord came to establish his kingdom on earth and he called it the kingdom of heaven. Why? Because the Lord wants to expand on the kingdom of God to colonize other territories and make his kingdom greater and bigger and stretch his boundaries.
So he came and brought the kingdom of God from heaven through the cross by the shedding of the blood of the Lamb of God on that cross. The kingdom of God was established on earth and he called it the kingdom of heaven. Now the kingdom of heaven is on earth.
There is another kingdom here called the kingdom of the world and the prince of that kingdom is satan and the king of the kingdom of heaven is Jesus Christ. Now since the kingdom of heaven is light and the ruler and the sovereign authority of this kingdom is Jesus Christ, the king of kings, the kingdom of the world is darkness and the kingdom is satan. So there is a battle, there is a struggle, there is a war between light and darkness, between the truth and the lie, between the life and death, between Jesus Christ, the king of kings and lord of lords and satan.
When the Lord established the kingdom on Calvary, on the cross, kingdom of heaven, through the holy baptism, entered them into the kingdom of heaven. Now once we accepted the Lord, he came back to us and said, now since you lived with me, since you lived for me and learned from me, now it is time for me to send you back so that you bring more people for my kingdom to expand and become greater and greater. And that's why the Lord needs us all to be servants of his, not resist him but surrender to him.
Since there is a battle between the kingdom of heaven and the king and the kingdom of the world, I on my own to walk in the Lord's path, I need to fight satan, foul spirits and his kingdom. I on my own cannot fight satan and his kingdom because he is much more powerful than me and he will devour me before I blink my eyes. The only way for me to engage in this battle, for the kingdom of heaven to be expanded through me and through you and through everyone, to do one thing and one thing only, I need to go to the Lord Jesus and surrender to him.
When we go into battle, when the army loses that battle, they get captured by the enemy. The first thing this army, what do the soldiers do when they get caught in war? They lift up their hands and this sign saying to the enemy, I surrender, please don't kill me. I can't fight against satan, I cannot do nothing without the Lord Jesus and the Lord said it in the gospel verse 5, without me you can do absolutely nothing.
So I need to go to not my enemy, I need go to my sweetheart Jesus Christ and I need to lift up my hands and say, I am a servant of yours Lord, I want to work for you, I want to be engaged in this battle to expand your kingdom on earth but you know what Lord, I cannot fight without you, I am surrendering to you Lord, I'm lifting on my own, cannot do it without you Lord, I come surrender to you, catch me, hold me and chain me to you Lord and lead my way. When we do this from the heart, you will know what Jesus wants from you 100 percent, whether he wants you to get married or he wants you to be for him, whether you become a nun or you become a monk or any position in the church and the holy church of our Lord, he will definitely tell you my beloved but what we need to do, we need to let go of ourselves and surrender to him and let him work freely in our life, it will be extremely clear, clearer than the sun when it shines forth, trust the Lord my beloved.
