You Cannot Hide Your Sins From God

The Lord is very, very sharp. He said, tell them I have eyes like a flame of fire. I have feet like a refined copper, very fine copper or brass or copper in the proper translation.

I have eyes like a flame of fire. If I ask someone here, especially the young boys and girls here, if I say, what is your vision? You'll say, it's 2020. It's almost like a perfect vision, right? So you have a perfect vision.

I don't need light because I am the light. And out of me comes light. And I am the creator of the light.

So therefore, you are acting behind closed doors. You are holding secret meetings behind closed doors. But my eyes cut through the secret veils.

I see what is hidden. I see what you do in darkness. Nothing is out of my sight.

Everything I see. For my eyes are the flame of fire. You cannot run.

You cannot hide from your Lord. I see everything. And maybe this is a message to all of us.

When we try to do something, the Lord sees it. We may do it in hiding. We may do it in secret.

We may do it behind closed doors. But the Lord sees everything. Therefore, we need to come to Him open.

Do not act before your Lord Jesus. Do not fake it before your Lord Jesus. Come as you are for He knows you more than yourself.

Come and say, Lord, I've sinned. Come and say, Lord, I have done everything wrong under the sun in your name. Lord, I've done this and I've done that.

I've said this and I've said that. I'm coming asking forgiveness. Humility and honesty.

Be true to yourself. Don't ever have a mask and act. Be you.

Don't assume another personality. Don't, my beloved. I have the eyes like a flame of fire and feet like a fine copper.

Bronze. Feet of copper. My beloved, copper is the only metal when you expose it to extreme heat, it becomes stronger.

You put gold in fire, it melts, becomes liquid. You put silver in fire, it becomes liquid. Yet gold is more expensive than copper.

Are they gonna stone you if you speak the truth in the political arena? Are they gonna hate you for it? So be it. You can afford to lose the whole world, but you cannot afford to lose Jesus Christ. You cannot afford to lose God.

Because the moment you lose him, you are in hell. You can't afford living in hell. Definitely you cannot.

So which one is it gonna be? There is no compromises. You cannot make a deal with Satan. You cannot say to Satan, listen, I'll give you this, but let me do this.

The only one who is perfect white is Christ the King. So that's why being judged by God, it can only lead to one place, eternal death. And also said, and the one who sat on that throne from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, meaning he's so perfect, he is so holy, he is so pure, even heaven is not pure like him.

Then how much more is earth the land of the clay, the people of the earth? If heaven is not as pure as God is, then how much more the people who live on the face of this land, on the face of this earth? How much more are we not pure before him? Those who believe in the Lord Jesus are called the departed souls, not dead. But those who do not, are the dead ones. Because departed cannot be dead.

Who departs? The one that travels. And who travels? The one who is living. When you go to the airport, you see two signs, arrivals and departures.

So who travels? The one who lives. Somebody's dead, can't go anywhere. So those who believe in the Lord, when they leave this realm, they're not dead.

They just transit. They travel from one dimension to another dimension, from one destiny to another destiny. That is all.

But those who do not have the Lord Jesus are dead. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God. And books were opened.

And another book was opened, which is the book of life. Wow. And books were opened, but there was another book opened, which was the book of life.

Why? John the Beloved mentions there was another book, the book of life, after mentioning, and books were opened. Why did he mention thereafter, and there was another book called the book of life? Why? The book of life is opened for everyone who does not have a book. The book of life is opened for everyone who does not have a book.

Meaning, and books were opened, everyone who will be judged, their books will be opened. So when my own book will be opened before God, what will God find in my book? Oh, shocking things, baby. When my book is opened, it's full of errors.

Then my book will be His book, and His book is all life. But my book is all death, because the wages of sin is death, and I am the greatest sinner of all. So when the Lord wipes my sins, then the only book will be open for me on Judgment Day is the Book of Life.

The Lord wiped me clean and said, Father, this is your son. And the dead were judged according to their works by the things which were written in their books, in the books, meaning in their books. So the dead were judged according to their what? To their works by the things which were written in the books, meaning in their books.

So every human being's deeds, what are they? Wrong. No one can stand in the presence of the Lord Jesus and say, I haven't sinned. Whether with thought or with deed, every one of us is a sinner, and I'm the number one.

So in heaven are you gonna get a one-bedroom granny flat or are you going to have a three-bedroom house or are you going to have a mansion? That's why St. Paul in his epistle to the Corinthians he says and a star from another star is different in glory. He's talking about saints. Stars are saints.

So he's saying one star is greater in glory than the other star because all entered they are saints but not all of them loved the Lord the same way. Some sacrificed immensely, some sacrificed 10%, some sacrificed 50%, some sacrificed 90%. Depending on how hard you worked your place will be allocated accordingly.

Yes? So the dead were judged according to their works and the believers will be rewarded according to their works as well. Now let's come to verse 13. The sea gave up the dead who were in it.

They don't want somebody to come and stop them and judge them. I want to go downtown. The Lord Jesus says, don't go downtown.

It's not healthy for you. But I don't want to listen to God. Therefore some end up saying there is no God.

Why? Because they want to keep their conscience at bay. They want to give it a local anesthetic so that way it doesn't give them trouble. The easiest way out of this is to say to my conscience there is no God.

Not realizing you can only, you cannot deny someone that never exists. You can only deny somebody that truly exists. How can you deny someone never exists? You can only deny the one who exists.

So those who say there is no God they literally saying there is one but I choose to reject him and deny him. Why? Because I want my conscience to be clear because I'm not ready to give up things I enjoy for the sake of God. So since I put myself before God, well God you don't exist anymore.

What are you gonna get out of the world? Death. That's what you're gonna get out of the world. All the dead in the sea.

Everyone who chases the world is dead. The sea is the world. And then death and Hades were delivered up, delivered up the dead who were in them.

Death are all the Christians who walked away from the Lord at the end. Are there death? Death here represent all the Christians who walked away from the Lord at the end. And Hades all those who were shallow in Christ.

Shallow in Christ. So death are the Christians who started strong with the Lord and at the end they walked away from the Lord. That is death.

Then death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire.

This is the second death. The second death is the real death. We've mentioned it before I'll mention it again.

A person who is born once will die twice and a person who is born twice will die only once. A person who's born once that is the biological physical birth. Everyone, every human beings are born once from their mother, earthly mother, earthly parents.

But those who are born once will die twice. One, physical death. Second, spiritual death.

Physical death, separation of the spirit from the body. Spiritual death, separation of the spirit from God. And that is the second death.

That is the real death when the spirit separates from its creator. That is the real death. But those who are born twice, physical birth and baptismal font, the second birth, spiritual birth from my spiritual mother, the church.

When I'm born in Christ Jesus, the second birth, baptism, I will only die once, physical not spiritual. He who has the Son has eternal life. When you are born in Christ, you will only die physically, never spiritually.

Then death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Death, my beloved, is corruption.

Hades is the result of this corruption. Now, where did death, how did death enter? Through sin. Because the Lord God said to Adam, Adam, the day you eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, surely you shall die.

So God gave this commandment, this order. Adam, if you break my word and eat from the forbidden tree, definitely you will die. So when Adam broke God's word, by breaking his word, he sinned.

By sinning, death entered the human race. When death entered, we became corrupt. It's like that virus that hits the hard drive and destroys the computer.

So death is like that bug, that virus that entered us, entered our nature and destroyed our nature, became corrupt. That's why we did everything evil in the sight of God, because of the corruption that hit our hard drive. So God said, go to church.

The Lord Jesus said, follow me. I followed Satan. The Lord Jesus said, do not judge.

I kept on judging. The Lord Jesus said, pray. I sang.

The Lord Jesus said, be humble. I was boastful, because it's a corrupt hard drive. Death entered and corrupted the human race.

The result of this corruption, I was sentenced to Hades. Death sentenced me to Hades. Psalm 23, look at King David, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

Do you understand what this verse says? Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Does death have a shadow? Yes. What is the shadow of death? Hades.

So which one is stronger? Death or Hades? Hades, because death sentenced me to Hades. So Hades is the ultimate place before the second coming. After the second coming, it's gonna be hell.

So King David is saying, the Lord is my shepherd. That's the beginning of Psalm 23. See how he begins it? The Lord is my shepherd.

Now, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, the Lord is my shepherd. And then he says, your staff and your rod, they comfort me. Staff and rod, if you put them together, you get the sign of the cross.

Because the staff is for the shepherd to lean on when he's tired in the desert. That is the staff. The rod is the same stick, but the rod is used for disciplinary action.

When you want to smack someone on the head, you use the rod. When you need to lean on it when you're tired, you use the staff. So the staff stands this way, the rod stands this way.

When you put them together, you get the sign of the cross. So King David says, your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

For you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. By dying on the cross, even if I am dead, and even death sending me to Hades, you, Lord, by your precious blood will get me out of hell, which is the impossible.

You'll get me out of it. If you believe in the Lord, the impossible becomes possible. What is impossible to men is possible to God, says the Lord.

What are you worried about? What are you afraid of? The future? Problems? Illness? Financial burdens? Relational difficulties? Couples having problems? Parents with children, children with parents? Family members? Work colleagues? What are your issues? What are your problems? What is bothering you? What is hurting you? What is killing you? What is frightening you? Make Him your King. There is no problem. This is how the Lord waits for every single one of us.

He is dying to spend time with every single one of you and one of us. He's dying. He can't wait for the moment when you say, Lord, I need you.

He can't wait for that moment. He comes running quickly. He comes flying.

Before you blink your eyes, He's there. Yes, my child, I am all ears. Please entertain me.

The ultimate name God wishes for us human beings to call Him is Father. The ultimate name is Father. There is no more precious name God wishes to be called by His own children but the name of Father.

And Father was taught in Aramaic, which is the slang language of, that language is slang. So, abon bashmayo, the Lord's prayer, our Father who art in heaven, abon bashmayo, the literal transliteration of the word abon or abon in Aramaic should say in English, our daddy who art in heaven, not father. Because father is the formal way of referring to dad.

But daddy is the informal way and so true because you'll never address your father formally. You will always address him informally. The only way you are formal is with total strangers.

But when it is family, there is no formalities. Otherwise, it is hell living in that house. I imagine you get up in the morning and say, good morning, Mr. Smith.

Mr. Smith, I pray that you had a very blessed night's sleep. Mr. Smith, can I ask you a question? Mr. Smith, I pray that you if I see any mercy in your eyes, can I have $20? You'll get up, good night, dad. You come, mate.

Love you, dad. A pinch on the cheek. Dad, give me $20.

What is it for, son? None of your business, dad. Just give it, will you? And two of you go. But when you speak informally, you still respect him because he is still dad.

You see, speaking informally doesn't mean I lose track of respect. He is still my father. But there is no formalities.

The Lord wants it exactly this way. Come informally. Don't give him an eloquent speech.

You cannot surpass his wisdom. He'll put you to shame. Don't give him excuses.

He will put you to shame and he will show your entire life as a movie and he'll tell you every single place you made a mistake. But come as you are and say, dad, I sinned. Informally, I stuffed up.

You see, I sinned is a formal way. So since it's your dad, so dad, I really stuffed up badly the other day, you know. I went with me mates and those mates were not mates.

So they really ruined me, mate. So dad, please, you know, like, I'm really sorry, dad. Please, you know, don't smack me.

Please, another chance, dad. Promise you. I know you love me, dad.

And you gave me this love. You showed me this love. You taught me this love.

And with this love I'm coming to you, dad. I'm saying, I love you, but I'm weak. Simon Peter swore he did not know Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

He swore before a woman, but he cried like a baby. Why? Because, Lord, I love you, but I'm weak. I got scared when I faced death.

I got frightened. I wanted to save my life and crucify you. But you know I love you.

When you come and be honest to yourself, with yourself before the Lord and speak informally, rest assured the Lord will care not about your sin as much as he will care about the love you have for him. And that's where St. Paul says it so beautifully in 1 Corinthians 13. Love covers a lot of errors.

Love covers a lot of errors. The love of Christ for us will cover many of our errors.
