Mar Mari Emmanuel emphasizes that Jesus Christ is the only true Savior and calls believers to overcome fear and unbelief to inherit the eternal glory promised in Revelation 21.
In this expository sermon on Revelation 21, Mar Mari Emmanuel passionately calls believers to recognize Jesus Christ as the sole Savior and to live fully in His love and truth. He explains the meaning of the second death and warns against spiritual cowardice and unbelief that lead to eternal separation from God. Through a spiritual interpretation of Revelation 21:8, the speaker encourages faith, courage, and a deep personal relationship with Jesus as the path to glory and eternal life.

In the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, one God, Amen. We thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for his infinite love, mercy, and compassion, allowing us to be in his holy church, in his holy house, and in his holy presence, sharing his word, which is the only truth in existence ever to be. We pray that everyone who is with us in this holy church and everyone who is watching us through live streaming, that you're always in good health and in good spirit, in Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.
Amen. We thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ always. If there is anyone you should come to know, it's Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
If there is anyone you should ever love in your life, the only true love is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. If there is anyone that you need to befriend, is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. If there is anyone that you should ever have in your life, here on earth and forevermore to come, is Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Because this is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Jesus Christ is the only one. Jesus Christ is the only way.
Jesus Christ is God revealed in the flesh. You will never ever come to know anyone but Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You want to live and you want to live forever, you better make Jesus your only one.
If you want to be found and if you want to be truly found, you better make Jesus Christ your only Savior. And if you want to be the true child of God, with honor, with identity, with dignity, with glory, you need to make Jesus your love, your life, your king, your God, your everything, for He is the one and only. There is no one else but Him.
You need to breathe Him, inhale Him and melt in Him. You need to be Him and let Him be all of you. This is the only way.
You will never find anyone like Jesus. I don't care what people say and what people believe. With all love and respect, Jesus Christ is one and the only one.
No religion comes anywhere near Jesus Christ. No belief system, no faith, no wisdom gets anywhere near Jesus Christ of Nazareth. No one.
Say, Lord, teach me how to love you. Teach me how, before loving you, teach me how to know you. Because if I don't know you, I cannot love you.
I cannot love a stranger. I can only love the one I know. Teach me how to know you.
Show me the way, Lord. When I'm down and far off the grid, search me, search for me, Lord. Seek me, Lord.
Go out and look for me in the wilderness of this world. You are the good shepherd who went seeking the lost sheep. I am that lost sheep, Lord.
Come look for me. Bring me back to you because I'm willingly choosing to love you, Lord. I want to be with you.
I want to serve you. Anyone that wishes to serve in the house of the Lord, you better serve him first and foremost. You are here for him, no one else.
If you are here for someone else, you're in the wrong place. This goes for me and goes for all of us. When you go to church, you better go for the Lord Jesus.
When you pray, you better pray to the Lord Jesus. When you ask for help, you better ask for the Lord Jesus' help because there is no one else. No one else.
It is very sad when Christian leaders say there are other ways to God outside of Jesus Christ. They better not stand in my way when I show up there because I'll shred them. Don't ever think there is any other way outside of Jesus Christ.
Don't ever believe that. And this is not because we're Christians. No, it's got nothing to do with Christians.
It's got to do with the truth. Jesus Christ is God. He's not Catholic.
He's not Orthodox. He's not Protestant. None of that.
He's God. Don't ever put any name to the Lord Jesus. Don't ever.
Don't ever put any names. He is God revealed in the flesh, period. So we need to find this God.
If I'm a Catholic and I have no relationship with Jesus Christ, Catholicism will not save you. If you're an Orthodox and you don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ of Nazareth who is God revealed in the flesh, then Orthodoxy will not save you. Nothing will save you.
Jesus is the only way. Come to him. Let him show you where the truth is.
Let him show you where the truth is. Seek the Lord. Like one church father said, I'm not a Christian.
I'm a follower of Christ because so many Christians are fake because the name alone cannot save you. You need to live this name, not just bear it. You need to live it.
What's the point? I'm a Christian and I'm distant from the Lord. Christianity, this name cannot save you unless you come and live Jesus of Nazareth. You need to live him.
So he's God. Seek this God. Find this God.
That's it. It's done. Everything is yours.
Heaven, earth, everything. You'll step on the world, the temptations of the world. You'll step on Satan.
You'll step on everything and everyone when you have Jesus as your Lord, as your God, as your King. Amen. I pray from the bottom of my heart for Christians to find Christ singing a song and making a habit out of it.
It's not about a preach. We preach and make a habit out of it. We need to live the Lord.
We need to live the Lord. We need Jesus Christ as our own life. We need to live him.
It's not an obligation. It's not a duty. It's not what I do.
It's everything he has done for me and you. All we've done is we've given him the crown of thorns. We've nailed him on the cross.
This is all we've done. We've given him our sins. The ultimate, the highest level of spirituality.
You bring me anyone, any human being. I don't care how faithful they are, how loyal they are. We have given Christ our sins.
It is Christ who changed sinners into saints, slaves into sons of God, in bondage from bondage to freedom. It is Christ. Find Jesus Christ.
Seek him. Don't say I'm this and I'm that. You, me and all of us are nothing.
It is the Lord. It is the Lord. And no matter how big you become and how famous you become and how influential you become, you are nothing.
It is the Lord. It is the Lord. His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
For the Lord's sake, seek the Lord. No one else. All right, here we go.
We're going back to the commentary on the book of Revelation. Last time we finished, we are at chapter 21 and we finished verse 7. Today we'll be taking one verse and that is verse 8 and I hope we finish it this evening and we don't have to pause for it. So it is the book of Revelation chapter 21, Revelation chapter 21 and verse 8 and verse 8. And it reads, but the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexual, immoral, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death and all glory be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ forever and ever.
Amen. Just a small reminder because we've taken a small break since we've come back to the book of Revelation. We said that chapter 21 and 22, which is the last two chapters of the book of Revelation, chapter 21 and 22 talks about the church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her glory.
Chapter 2 and 3 of Revelation talks about the church of Christ in her suffering. So when you read chapter 2 and 3, it talks about the church in her suffering and chapter 21 and 22 talks about her glory. Chapter 20 was the judgment, the punishment of God on those people who rejected him till the very end.
It was the punishment of God to the people who have rejected him till the very last second of their life on earth. They kept on being stubborn and refused to believe in the existence of God and his sovereign authority and they were going to be cast into that lake of fire and brimstone and that was the second death. Verse 8, today's topic from Revelation 21, it talks again, mentions again about the second death and we spoke in depth about verse 8 and the second death, why John the Beloved mentions the second death in the heart of everything being renewed in chapter 21 and 22, i.e. the church in her glory.
Because if judgment was in chapter 20 and that is the second death, why when it came to 21 and 22, speaking about everything being renewed by the Lord Jesus, why is John the Beloved mentioning the second death in the midst of glory and we spoke in depth back in December of 2024. You can go back to that lecture and listen to it in depth and we said in a nutshell, the reason why John the Beloved mentions the second death in the midst of the church's glory to say to all of us and remind us that God is love and justice. What led the church to the glory was the love of God for her and what led people to the law was his justice.
So those who rejected God, they were led to the law of God being judged and those who believed in God, they were led by his love to glory. Love leads you to glory and rejection of God leads you to his law which is the judgment, the punishment of everyone who rejects him. But today we'll go and explain verse 8 word for word but the approach will be in a spiritual way.
I will not do it in the literal sense but in the spiritual sense. You've heard us before and we've mentioned so many times. When you read the holy bible, it's not that easy to be a teacher.
It's not that easy to explain the holy bible. Just because you read one verse and you went and studied and researched, it's not that easy to come and say this verse, that's what it really means and that's it and you don't accept any other explanations. It doesn't work that way because the holy bible can be approached, can be interpreted in so many different ways and we've mentioned before that you can approach it in the literal sense, in the biblical sense, in the contemplative sense, in the spiritual sense, in the typological sense.
There are so many ways, there are so many ways. So we're gonna approach verse 8 in the spiritual sense. Verse 8 talks about people who will end up in the lake of fire and brimstone, i.e being judged by God and they will end up in hell, total separation from God and this is what the second death is.
What is the second death? When the spirit departs from its creator. The first death when the spirit departs from the body. This is the biological, physical death which every human being goes through, those who come to this realm.
Every human must die. This first death is the spirit departing from the body. The second death which is the real death is when the spirit departs from God.
Now that is the eternal death where there is no comeback. So when these people will end up being thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone which is the second death, the holy bible, John the Beloved by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit reveals to us seven categories that will end up in that lake of fire in the second death. I pray none of us are in any of these seven categories.
Actually it is eight categories but the eighth one is the string that ties all seven together. The eighth one is the string that ties all the other seven together. I pray we're none of these categories otherwise we're in trouble.
Trouble. Here we go. The first category, the cowardly.
The cowardly will end up in the lake of fire and brimstone, the second death, separation from God. The cowardly. Well one might come and say bishop how come the holy bible put the cowardly first not the murderers because one of the other categories is murderers.
Well isn't a murderer you know much worse than a coward? Why is the coward placed first and not the murderers for example? Well why the cowardly first? The cowardly here is not talking about people that have fear if they walk in a little dark alley somewhere in the city and then they hear a whisper behind them and they start shaking because cowards you can put slash fear. People that have fear, cowards, fear. So it's not that kind of a fear where you're afraid of the dark, afraid of somebody following you, afraid of being alone.
No, this kind of fear is very important to have. You know why? Because without this kind of fear there is no repentance because sometimes God needs to shake us to put some fear in us in order to come back and say I'm sorry I'll never do it again. So it's good to have fear but not being a coward.
Top of the list that won't make it to God's kingdom are the cowardly. So who is the cowardly here? The cowardly here my beloved is the Christian who fears that the sacrifice of Christ was not enough to save him. Cowardly is the Christian that fears the sacrifice which Christ offered on Calvary on the cross was not enough to save him.
Now don't ever let Satan to deceive you and trip you into this suspicion. Don't ever be suspicious of the Lord's salvation for you. Don't ever.
Don't ever say will the Lord really save me? Will the Lord really come to me? Will the Lord really help me? Will he bring me out of my misery? Will he really forgive my sins? I don't know. I'm not sure because I've been praying and things are not going the right way. I've been asking and there is no clarity of a response from the Lord.
So I don't know if Jesus can really save me. You're a coward. You're going to hell.
Step on Satan and tell him be gone or in the 21st century language terminology get lost. Don't ever let the enemy put this kind of a suspicion in you that I'm not sure if Jesus can save me. Don't ever do that.
So these are the cowardly people. Because the moment you are suspicious of Christ's salvation, you are closing or shutting the door of mercy in your face. You are the one, not God.
So every time you're tempted, say Lord I believe, I trust, even though I'm weak, even though I have walked away from you, even though I have really hurt you and upset you, I've denied you, I've sold you like Judas Iscariot, but I still believe that you are my savior, you are my redeemer and no matter what happens nothing can take me away from you no matter what. Believe in that and if you believe you shall receive. Now, now what is the sign of fear or being a coward? The second category, unbelieving, unbelieving.
Read it. But the cowardly, unbelieving is second. Verse 8. Why do we fear? Why do we become so weak and so coward? Because of the lack of faith.
See the moment faith walks away, I'm engulfed with fear. I become a coward. I'm afraid of everything including of God.
I have the fear of the Lord. I'm not afraid of the Lord. Being afraid of the Lord that is cowardly, but having the fear of the Lord that is awesomeness and mightiness.
Fearing the Lord is loving the Lord. Being afraid of the Lord, I'm afraid if I do something he's gonna chop my head off. He will throw me in hell.
I'm afraid. But fearing the Lord, no I love him, I love him so much I don't want to do anything wrong in the fear of breaking his beautiful heart. See the difference? I don't want to do anything wrong.
I don't want to break his heart. I'm not afraid of him, but my fear is out of love because when you love a person truly, the last thing you want to do is to hurt them and break their heart. That's the last thing.
It's not even in the agenda. It's not even in the list because there is love. Christ must be loved, not afraid of.
He didn't come to hurt you. He came to save you. How can he be afraid of someone who died for you? How can he be afraid of someone who took the punishment of yours on himself? How can you? How can you be afraid of this man? He loves you beyond words could ever express.
He loves you more than himself. He gave his life for you. Don't be afraid of him, but fear not to hurt him.
Now when we are cowards it takes us to the second category, the unbelieving. Because of the lack of faith we became cowards. Lack of faith ignites the fire of fear in our hearts.
Lack of faith ignites the fire of fear in our hearts. When there is no faith we are seeking something else to replace faith. When there is no faith we are seeking something else to replace faith.
What are we seeking to replace faith? Category number three, the abominable. The abominable. These categories are in perfect order, are in perfect order.
Each one leading to the next. The abominable. Abomination is not filthiness.
What is abomination? Abomination it is everything and everyone that is rejected by God. Everything that God rejects is called abomination. The abominable are the people rejected by God.
The abominable are the people rejected by God. I'll give you an example. Cain came to God and gave an offering.
That offering was rejected by God. That is called the abominable. It's an offering that is abominable to God, rejected by God.
In the book of Daniel, when we see about the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem, the Lord Jesus makes reference to the book of Daniel or to Daniel's prophecy. The Lord Jesus makes reference to Daniel's prophecy in Matthew 24 15. Look at the Lord, what he's saying in Matthew 24 15, which he is referring to Daniel, the book of Daniel or the prophecy of Daniel about the rebuilding of the temple.
He's saying, therefore when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place, whoever reads, let him understand. Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place, whoever reads, let him understand. Which is the holy place to the Israelite nation? Mount Moriah, where the temple of Solomon was built once upon a time.
It's the house of the Lord. That is the holy place, Mount Moriah. The Lord says, a time will come, that place will be called the abomination of desolation.
So whoever's standing on that holy place, meaning the temple will be re-erected again in the end of times. Our beloved Jews will rebuild the temple. This is the whole dilemma in the Middle East and more so between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
It's about land, it's about position, it's about worship. Otherwise what is in Israel? But oil, tabbouleh, what's in Israel? The struggle is of a religious essence. When the temple is rebuilt, what will they do? See the Israeli, our beloved Jews, and I'm talking with love.
I hope nobody gets upset. What do you do these days? Why do they go to the wailing wall and pray there? They are crying, they are shedding tears and asking Yahweh, Adonai. They can't call Yahweh, they call him Adonai because it's too, you need to be prepared to call him Yahweh.
So they they call their God, the God of Israel. Okay, why? Because they're crying, rebuild the temple for us, rebuild the temple for us. But the only way to rebuild the temple, you have to wipe two things which is very holy to our beloved Muslim world, which is the Masjid al-Aqsa and the Dome of the Rock, very holy.
They need to be brought down for the temple to be erected. When the Jewish people, our beloved Jewish people, when they rebuild the temple, they'll start giving offering as animal sacrifices as their forefathers did in the Old Testament, because to them the Messiah hasn't come yet. So they need to give an animal sacrifice and sprinkle the blood on the people for the forgiveness of sins.
Any blood outside of Jesus Christ of Nazareth offered for the forgiveness of sins is the ultimate abomination in the sight of God, the ultimate abomination, the ultimate rejection, because God the Father will say there is no other blood other than my beloved Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You bring an animal blood for the remission of sins after my Son's blood being shed on Calvary on the cross for the remission of sins of the entire world. There is no greater abomination than this.
This is when the Jewish people will enter the great tribulation, which is the end of times, because they'll make God very angry. See, our beloved Jewish people do not have an altar yet. They cannot build an altar.
Why? Because the altar, according to the faith, has to be erected in a temple, not in a synagogue. Synagogue is a place where they meet and pray, that's all, but they cannot offer sacrifices for the forgiveness of sins. They haven't been able to do that since 70 AD.
Over 1800 years they have been without a sacrifice being offered for the forgiveness of the sins of the nation of Israel, because the altar can only be erected in a temple, not a synagogue, and the only place, according to their faith, the only place they can build a temple must be on Mount Moriah, where the Dome of the Rock and Masjid al-Aqsa are. They have the money to build it anywhere they want, but to them they say there is only one place God will hear your prayers and your cries and your supplications, and that place must be Mount Moriah. That's why they're trying frantically to bring Masjid al-Aqsa and Dome of the Rock down to rebuild the temple in order to erect an altar to bring animals and slain them and offer them as sacrifices for the forgiveness of the sins of the Israelite nation that they haven't been forgiven for the last 1800 and something years.
That's why they're crying, not realizing the Messiah had come already, but he's coming again, but this time is to judge, but his second coming will come to save them, but must go through the great tribulation where the Lord will squeeze them so hard. Those who are ruling the world with money now, they'll be begging for the Lord's mercy. Money won't save them, power won't save them, authority won't save them, nothing will save them except the Son of David will.
So they'll cry out and say, Son of David, have mercy on us, have mercy on us. When people are cowards, they will become what? What's number two? Unbelieving. When you're unbelieving, you'll be seeking an alternate way to faith and when you seek an alternate way to faith, you become, you become what? Abominable.
Abominable means people rejected by God, people rejected by God. When the offering is abominable, rejected, why is it rejected? Because I did it out of lack of faith. I did it out of lack of faith.
I replaced faith with something else. What is that something else? Me. Instead of believing in Christ, I started believing in myself.
I can do this and I can offer this and I can build this and I can make this. It is all about me because that lack of faith detached me from the Lord Jesus. Instead of seeking his way, I seeked my way.
My way is rejected by God. It's an abomination. So when I did it my way, what did I do? I tried to bring an offering done through me in order to please God.
I tried to do something and come to God and say, look what I've done for you. God says, the only thing you've done for me is giving me your sins. That's all you done for me.
Are you going to come and say, I've built a church for you God. I've brought people your way God. I've changed people and I made them believe in you.
Hey, guess what? It's all me not you. Do you want me to prove it? I'll remove myself from you. I'll leave you alone and let me see what you can do.
You won't be able to look after yourself for one second if it wasn't for me. So bringing people to me is me. Building the church is me.
Protecting is me. Saving is me. Changing hearts is all the work of God.
Nothing is yours. But because I didn't believe in that, I said, I've done it for you. That is an abomination, rejection by God.
Don't ever look at how much you love him. Please pay attention. If you're falling asleep, red belt, huh? Be careful, I'm coming.
Don't ever look at how much you love him because the moment you focus on how much you love him, you will deny him like Simon Peter. You will definitely deny him the moment you start focusing on how much you love him. Simon Peter said, if all of these deny you, I will not deny you.
He was showing that I love you the most. You see, no one loves you Jesus more than Simon. Remember Jesus.
What did he do? Denied him before a woman, not even a Roman soldier, a woman. He swore, he made an oath, I don't know this man. When you focus on your love for Christ, you will deny him.
And if you look at Judas Iscariot, on the other hand, he looked at himself and so he had no love for Jesus Christ. See, Judas Iscariot's love was for what Jesus can do for him. Simon, he loved the Lord, but he looked at himself, how much he loves him.
Very dangerous. Judas looked and he said, I don't love you, but my love for you is because I want you to make me a king. I want you to make me a minister.
I want you to make me someone powerful and influential. I want you to build me a kingdom. This is my love for you.
My love for you is for what you do. And the moment you don't, I don't love you. I don't care about you.
So many marriages fall apart because the love is abused. We love each other for what we do for each other, not for you and me. That's why they don't last.
So Judas Iscariot looked and he saw that he had no love for the Lord. He ended up selling his master. So one looked at himself and said, how much I love you, denied him.
The other one said, I don't love you, sold him. Because when you don't love, easy, you give away. Very easy to give away.
He sold him. But we come to John the Beloved. And look how John the Beloved writes in the Gospel of John.
And the disciple whom Christ loved. Wow. John O, you're the best baby.
And the disciple whom Christ loved, he didn't mention his name. He's talking about himself here in the Gospel. He's talking about himself.
But he didn't mention his name. Why? He said, because I don't exist. Everything is Christ.
And the disciple whom Christ loved, he's saying to all of us, don't ever look on how much you love him, but focus on how much he loves you. In this you will never fail and you will never fall. But the moment you focus on yourself, you will fail him.
The moment you focus on his love for you, you will last forever. When you focus on yourself and either your love for him, you will be filled with false glory. You see, Lord, I love you.
Lord, I believe in you. Lord, look how much, look at me and look at that poor guy over there. There is no comparison.
I love you the most. I believe in you the most. I'm the closest to you, Lord Jesus.
You will end up being filled with false glory. Satan will devour you before you even blink your eyes. Gone with the wind.
Gone with the wind. And the lack of love for the Lord Jesus, when you focus on yourself, it will lead you to losing hope and ending up killing yourself, hanging yourself. Both are deadly.
False glory, when you focus that you love him the most and also lack of love for him, both lead one to glory, false glory. The other one leads to hopelessness and being absolutely lost. Both are deadly.
Both will destroy you. However, when you seek his love for you, you will never lose hope and stand and remain ever so strong in his way. When you focus on his love for you, you will remain in his way forever.
Forever, my beloved. In other words, don't boast about yourself. Everything you do and everything you say and everything you've achieved and will achieve, it is all the Lord.
None of it is yours. Don't ever be proud that I've done this. You're following the Lord Jesus.
You're walking in his footprints. You are walking in his way. This way is God's, not yours.
Your intellect is not wise enough to fathom how to live in that path until you surrender all of you to Christ. I can stand here and say, you know, the whole world knows this bishop now. When I'm driving in the street, they're waving, oh bishop, we watch you on YouTube.
Ah, the famous bishop on TikTok. Ah, you've changed my life, bishop. Oh, you've done this.
Oh yes, and then I become a big balloon. All right. I'm a celebrity, babe.
What's up? Get down. No, no. The more, the more, the more higher you go, the more humble you need to be.
Otherwise, you're gone. Bishop, you're a saint. The bishop inside will say, I'm a sinner, but I don't have to tell them I'm a sinner.
But inside of me, you see why? You know why? Because if I go back and say, I'm a sinner, then we are engaged in a conversation that is nonsensical. It's a waste of breath. So I'll say to them, no, please don't call me a saint.
I'm a sinner. They'll say, no, no, bishop, please don't say that. You're a saint.
Please, waste of breath. They say you're a saint. Inside, I say quietly, I'm a sinner, Lord, have mercy on me.
This is between me and the Lord. I don't have to talk like that. This is between me and the Lord, but I'm saying it for the sake of saying it for you not to ever fall into false glory.
Always ask the Lord to bring you down and break you. Always. You're this, you're that.
No, I'm nothing but a donkey carrying the king. That's all. So what are you saying to this donkey? You're the best.
It's the king. It's the king, my beloved. Jesus Christ of Nazareth must be honored, respected, worshipped, glorified.
All glory is his. All honor is his. All praise is his.
All worship is his. Everything is his. Everything.
So when people say nice things about you, run away. And when people say nasty things about you, love it and enjoy it and say in your heart, don't reply because if you reply, you'll get angry and you'll start fighting. No, you be quiet, be calm and collected.
In your heart say, thank you, Lord. I've received my reward. I am worthy of every nasty word that was said about me because it is true.
They called me a sinner. I am. They called me a thief.
I am. They called me a murderer. I am.
They called me all these nasty things. I am. Nothing is weird about it.
I am. So in your heart, keep your calm and be collected and in your heart say, Lord, thank you so much. I received my reward, my payment.
I'm very grateful. I thank you, Lord Jesus. When are we going to live the Lord Jesus? Say, are we still in a preschool? We haven't even enrolled.
Where are we? Are we in year 6, year 12, university? Where are we? Always look at what the Lord Jesus has done for you on the cross. Don't ever lose track of the cross. Don't ever lose track of the cross.
Imagine this, a 33 year old man, mature. He went up on the cross fully naked, fully naked. The church out of love and respect for her heavenly groom, Christ the King, places this veil around his waist.
But he was crucified fully naked and a mature man fully naked before the world. So embarrassing. That's why they were all making fun of him.
They were laughing at him. They were ridiculing him. Then they were swearing at him and spitting at him.
He endured all of this for you and me. The greatest sin is ever. Look at the cross and give all glory to the one who humiliated himself to the lowest of the lowest degrees.
Yet he is the highly exalted God. He went to the lowest point just to say, I love you. That's all.
And when people come and attack this love because they don't know it, they don't understand it and they don't wish to come to know it. That's why they judge with a sharp sword before even starting a dialect. It's not easy to talk about love.
Love must be lived. It's a life journey. It's a life journey.
You can come to a girl when she is in love with this man. As an outsider, you can say it because words are cheap and so easy said than done. You can come and say to this girl, just walk away from him.
You don't want him. Yeah, it's easy for you, my dear friend. But this girl has loved this man for he's so hard to walk away because if I walk, I'll die.
If I walk, it is heartbreaking. It's like a knife going through my heart. I can't just do it.
Love is not easy. For you just to say a few words. How can God come down and be a man and then get dragged in the streets and then ridiculed and then kicked, punched and spat on? Where is this God? What kind of a God? Excuse me, you are talking out of absolute ignorance, my dear friend.
Ignorance. Come inside. Don't stand outside and ridicule and judge.
Come inside and meet Jesus. Let me see. You will go and do crazy things for his sake.
Crazy when you love him. You will do crazy things. You need to know him.
You need to know him. You need to know him. Today I was very upset and I was upset with the Lord.
I had an argument with him. I'm serious. I said, you know what? Leave me alone, okay? Walk away.
He couldn't last. I was upset with him. He came comforting me.
This is Jesus. How can you not love such a person? Even when you're in the wrong, he will come and beg you. Where are you going to find such love? The never failing love.
And look at me now. I'm standing. I'm shouting about him now.
See? You know, it's incredible that even when you're in the wrong, but the one that loves you the most still shows love for you. You'll do anything for that person. Don't ever think by force you win.
It is by love you win. And this is why the Lord says, my sword is love. Not a sword that chops heads.
A sword that heals the heart. Heals the inner person. Because the problem of every human being is internal, not external.
The reason why we become who we become is because of an inner issues and problems. The Lord comes with his love, goes deep down to the roots, to the source of problems and starts healing that wound. The outside becomes okay once the inside is made wholesome.
It's made wholesome. Oh, I need to move on. See, when a guy goes and asks for a girl's hand in marriage, they get engaged.
The fiance, this girl, she's now gone out with her with her friends. When she's sitting with her friends, is she gonna say, oh, I love my fiance. Oh, I adore my fiance.
I've done this for my fiance. No. All her talk will be about the fiance.
You know why? Because it was he who came asking for her hand. It wasn't her. So the one who came asking for your hand, when you talk, you'll talk about him.
Because it was him who came and knocked at the door and talked to your parents and said, I am so deep in love with your daughter. I cannot live without her. When the girl heard him talk this way, she said, my man, my baby, whenever I go, however I go, wherever I go, all I will say is about you.
The talking will be about you. Therefore, when I'm standing here as a bishop, I won't say what I've done for the Lord because he came asking for my hand, not I asking for his hand. It is he, the man who came seeking me, the sinner and what love he showed.
So wherever I go, I boast about him. It's not about me. It's about the one who asked for me.
Are you with me? It's about the Lord. He came asking for us, not us. Now categories four, five and six, very dangerous.
Categories four, murderers. Five, sexual immoral. Six, sorcerers.
I'll approach it in a spiritual sense as we said. Murderers, my beloved, there is a physical murder and there is a spiritual murder. The spiritual murder is much, much harder, worse, stronger than the physical murder.
I put a bullet in someone's head, far from all of you. Somebody puts a bullet in my head. I may feel, may not feel the pain, finished, gone.
Split second, I'm dead. You don't feel it. But if, but if when I kill someone spiritually with a word, very hard to heal.
You can't forget. So hard. Years and years go by, you still remember.
But a bullet, finished, gone. One second, finished. But you can murder a person with a word.
So when the Ten Commandments were given to Moses by the Lord God, when he said do not kill, the Lord is not just talking about physical killing. He's talking about emotional, mental, spiritual, all kinds. All of these are killings.
When you abuse a child, you have killed that child for the rest of their life. They're living but they're dead because they were abused at childhood level. And that's a proof we say in our language, that what I'm saying is correct.
Well because it's the Lord's Word, that's what's correct. Murderers, do not kill people with words. You'll be classified as one of those categories.
Murderers, between the throat and the mouth is a very short distance. The Holy Bible teaches us, and in the book of Psalms of King David, it says before you let the word out of your mouth, check it thoroughly in your throat. That's a metaphor.
But check it thoroughly in your throat, meaning leave the word inside. For as long as it's inside, even if it's sour, if it's bitter, if it's poisonous, if it's murderous, as long as it's inside, the only ones who know about it is you and God. No one else.
Thank God it's not bad. Inside of me, I'm saying I'll chop you, I'll shred you, I'll mince you, I'll cook you, I'll shish kebab you, I'll make a shawarma out of you. As long as it's inside, no hard feeling baby.
Ask the Lord for forgiveness between you and him. And when you see the person that you were shredding, mincing, cooking, everything sizzling, when you see them you say, hello Habibi, how are you? I love you. I was just thinking about you.
And how blessed I am you just walked in front of me out of nowhere. Must be my blessed day today. I love you.
By the way, that's a kind of dancing. I love you. I love you.
Leave the word inside. If you cannot say a nice word, don't say a nasty word. Murderous.
Sexually immoral. What is this sexually immoral? I'm attached to this body. I've gone and attached myself to another body, a strange body.
That is a sexual immorality. As Christians, who are we attached to? The body of Christ, aren't we? St. Paul says the church, which is the Christian world, the church is the body of Christ. So as Christians, we are attached to the body of Christ, the mystical body.
We are members in the mystical body of Christ. So as Christians, we are attached to the body of Christ. When we go and attach ourselves to a different body, we are now sexually immoral.
Now what is that body? That body to someone can be money. That body to someone can be fame. That body to someone can be a throne.
That body to someone can be whatever, whatever it is. Materialistic things, the pleasures of this world, this entire world. This is my enjoyment.
When I go out there and have fun my way, I become sexually immoral. I've detached myself from the body of Christ and attached myself to the body of the world and the pleasures of the world. This is sexual immorals.
They will not enter the kingdom of God. The lake of fire and brimstone awaits them if there is no true genuine repentance. If there is no true genuine repentance.
Some people, sadly said, will remain for the world. They won't be with the Lord at the end, sadly said. Sorcerers.
Sorcerers, my beloved, is not like going to a clairvoyant or one of those black magics and they do things for you and say, oh give me your palm and let me read it for you and I've got some cards let me flip them over for you and let me tell the future of what is happening. Some people go and do such things. This is the physical literal sorcery.
Don't go there. You're opening the door and welcoming Satan into your life. One million percent.
You go to someone to read you some palm. You go to someone to read you some cards. You go to someone to tell you whatever and they give you some writing and they say stick it on your forehead, put it under the pillow, put it inside of your pocket.
Please. And you pay money. Oh my my.
Don't ever do that. In the Middle Eastern culture, I don't know if it's in the Western culture or not, but I can say about the Middle Eastern, even at a very simple humble approach neighbor to neighbor. A neighbor goes to next-door neighbor.
Hi neighbor, how are you? Yeah, come on in my darling. They go inside. Okay, would you like a cup of coffee? Yes, please.
They bring coffee. They drink coffee. And then the neighbor will say, why don't you flip that cup over and let's see what is happening in your life.
And yeah, it's fun. We're having fun neighbor. We're talking about everyone.
We're chewing them. We're eating them. We're stabbing them.
It's okay. So let's flip the cup. They flip the cup.
It's only fun. Okay. No money involved.
No business involved. Nothing. It's social.
Why not neighbor? So they flip it. Now it's time to put it back in its place. And the neighbor takes the cup.
Oh, I can see there is something big coming your way. What is that? Is that a semi-trailer? Mercedes Benz? What is it? You have camels loaded. I can see you're gonna win the lotto.
Oh, did you play lotto? No, I haven't. You better play lotto. There is a jackpot there.
Oh, I can see there is a very nasty eye in the cup, you know, because the bottom of that coffee just popped up. It looks like an eye, you know, there is a nasty eye. And this eye looks like someone close to you.
The other one will say, yes, I knew it. It's my cousin. I knew it.
I knew it. Can you tell me her name? The other will say, not very clear. See, if you're not used to this kind of culture, you'll probably say, what is the bishop talking about? But you go to the Middle East, this is common.
This is common. I knew it. It was my cousin.
I had a feeling every time she comes into the house, bad luck comes. You end up judging people. And when you play lotto and you don't win, you'll hate yourself.
You'll hate your neighbor for telling you lies. You end up judging every man and his dog. You have sinned and fell into the trap of Satan.
Don't do it, even if it's for fun. Don't. They put ideas in your head you don't need.
Trust me. But who are the sorcerers here in the spiritual sense? The teachings of the world are sorcery. There are so many people that learn and study and become very educated.
And at the end of that long journey, they come and say, there is no God. That is sorcery. They have been misinformed, misled.
They have been brainwashed by the educational system. That is sorcery. This kind of people will not enter God's kingdom because deliberately they put a system to brainwash people and take them away from the true divine God.
They will end up burning in the lake of fire and brimstone if they don't repent. They'll teach you about evolution. They have been bombarding you with evolution for decades and it's the biggest lie ever.
Biggest lie. Did you know evolution was an invention of a round table member called Karl Marx? No, no, sorry. It's the Darwin theory.
Charles Darwin. Yeah, Charles Darwin. No, Karl Marx was one of them.
A round table, a British invention. You go and read history and see what these evil doers did to the world, to the people. It was a 12 member round table.
One of them, Charles Darwin, which is evolution, Darwin theory. He was a member of the round table. All of them atheists to the core.
Their intention is one thing, to take people away from Christ, from the true God. That was their intention. I have to rush.
When people become attached so strongly to materialism, they become sorcerers. As a true believer in Christ, do not let people's talk influence you, the pleasures of the world influence you, and the entire world. Don't let anything worldly influence you.
You belong to Christ. You don't belong to the world, my daughter. Don't let people say you are not beautiful enough.
You need to change your looks. Don't ever say you need to dress up in a way that goes with the flow because everybody's going out there naked. You need to be naked and if you cover your body, you are now the black sheep in the midst of all them.
You say this is the way the Lord wants me. I listen to the Lord, not to the world. So away with you.
You are not my friends. Not my friends. I was not created to be free the way I perceive and define freedom.
I was created to be guided by God, ruled by God, governed by God. I belong to Jesus Christ. I don't belong to anyone or anything else but Him.
I will not reveal my body to the world. I don't need the world to see me beautiful. I want Jesus of Nazareth to see me beautiful.
No one else. And on the other hand, I imitate the bishop. He's got a long skirt.
See that? It's a long skirt. Nothing wrong with that. Don't be ashamed or embarrassed.
And same goes to you my son. Don't imitate people of the world. Don't say I'll do this and I'll do that to prove that I'm a man.
No, a true man is the one that worships Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Now that is a true man. A true man who comes to church and puts his head at the feet of the Lord.
That is a true man. A true man who takes ownership, responsibility, and dedication and sacrifices. Now that is a true man.
Fearing the Lord is a true man. Loving Jesus is a true man. Being in the presence of the Lord is a true man.
Not out there in the streets of this world. That is not a true man. It's a fake one.
Number seven, idolatrous. Idolatrous. What is idolatry? Colossians 3.5, Saint Paul says it.
Colossians 3.5 says, and covetousness which is idolatry. What is covetousness? Greed. What is idolatry? Greed.
So the category number seven, greed my beloved. Well you see it all started with what? Cowardly. Why was, why was I coward fearing? Because I was unbelieving.
When I became unbelieving, I did everything that was abominable to God, rejected by God. When I did everything rejected by God, I ended up being a murderer. Because God didn't say, go and kill people.
I ended up killing them because I did it my way, not God's way. I became a murderer. When I became a murderer, sexual immorality became the theme of my life.
I attached myself to everybody except Christ. Even that song that says, I want to dance with somebody, that is worldly. You cannot dance with somebody.
You need to define which body you're dancing with, because if you're not dancing with the Lord, you're dancing with Satan. So you can't be just open door, wide gate, you need to define. I became sexually immoral.
Sexual immorality made me a worldly person, a sorcerer. I believed in the lies of the world, and I rejected the truth of Christ. Sexual, sorcerous, idolaters.
When I became worldly, I became greedy. Idolaters. Greed will come for one reason, lack of love.
Greed will come for one reason, when there is a lack of love. When a person walks away from love, and when I say love, I'm talking about the only love, which is divine love. The only true love.
There is a lot of loves out there, but they're all lies. There is only one true love, and that is the love of God for you. When we walk away from the true love of God, we will end up loving ourselves.
Because outside of God is me. When it comes to me, I will not help anyone but me. I will step on everyone for me to be strong, to be in charge, to be seen, to be known, to be the center of attention.
Because me, there is no one else but me. When I become all about me, me, me, me, me, I am greedy. I'll never give.
The only time you give, when you deny yourself to enable you to give. When you focus on yourself, you expect everyone to give you, and nothing comes out of you. Greed.
And greed is a mirage. It's like a mirage. I'm chasing something that never exists.
In the desert, I'm thirsty, and I'm seeing waters flowing. It's a mirage. What are you chasing? There is no water.
So when you chase yourself, you'll end up being greedy, idolater. Greed, what are you achieving? You have billions in the bank account. You don't wish to give one cent to a starving soul in Africa or anywhere in the world.
Death will take away all that wealth. What have you taken with you? Zilch, nothing. Give to be rich.
When you stop giving, you are poor, even if you're wealthy. But the moment you start giving, now you are rich in the eyes of God. All of these seven, cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters.
All of these are tied together by the eighth category, which is the foundation of all of them and surpasses all of them, and that is the category of liars. Lawyer. Not a lawyer, but a liar.
There are some, no, I won't say that. No, I don't want any lawsuits against me. All right, liars.
Very quickly. Yes, anyway, too late. You're already here for too long.
It's good. Before I go to the lies, very quickly. In the world, there is only two things, greed and corruption.
Think about it. In the world, why is the world in ruin? Because the world is about greed and corruption. Because when you become greedy, greed leads you to corruption.
You see, the more you have, the more you want. So you'll start doing things in a zigzag way under the table, behind the scenes, bribery here, bribery there. Let's stab this one in the back and win that business.
Let's bring this one into bankruptcy so we can become richer and stronger and more in control. You start introducing corruption into your life and you'll swim in it to the core, to the brim, and this is the world. Greed and corruption.
Superpower nations, they go into other countries and destroy them completely out of greed and corruption. If it wasn't for money, money, money, make me honey, why would you go into another country and invade it? Why do you guys spy on each other? China spies on America, America spies on China, Japan, Korea, England, you name it. What kind of a sick life is this? There is no life.
It's all about greed and corruption. We need to be strong. We need to be in charge.
That means we need to destroy everyone around us to remain superpower. One big sick world in the head. Very sick.
Instead of enjoying life, instead of enjoying life, man, wasting what a precious, this precious life, 24-7 spying on each other, killing each other, destroying each other, so Mr. Xi Jinping can be the superpower and Mr. President can be the super... Sick. This sickness is lack of love. That president of North Korea definitely had no love in his childhood.
That's why he's like that. Yeah, definitely. Any human being that acts in a very inhumane way, trace it back, their life journey, trace it back to childhood, you will see there was not enough love given by the parents to that child.
100%. Lack of love. There was not enough love.
The world is about greed and corruption. Lies or liars. These liars and all of them above, which the liars is the string that attaches all together and binds them together.
And I'll leave you with this. This person did everything wrong under the sun. And one day they said to him, you have to go and confess before a priest.
And yes, there is confession before a priest. Okay, so you should do it. So anyway, he was scared.
What will the priest say to me? He's going to tell me definitely don't kill, don't drink, don't take drugs, don't go, don't come, don't be with women. So anyway, he went. He sat there very hesitant to open up.
And anyway, he spoke. He said, father, look, I've done everything. Right.
So he gave him a very long shopping list of things. And then the priest was very nice and kind to this man. He said, my son, look, I'm not going to ask you to stop all of this big long list.
I'll ask you to stop one thing only. He said, yeah. He said, yes.
What is it, father? Please come on. He said, promise me you're not going to lie again. He was overwhelmed with joy.
He said, father, you're the best man. If I knew you were that easy, I would have come a long time ago. Amazing, stunning.
I love you. I love you. I promise you, father, I'll never lie.
He said, thank you, son. Go in peace. He leaves.
This guy was a thief and so many other things. One day he came out of his house and he's going to rob a house. People of the neighborhood, they know him.
So they stopped him. Hi, so and so. How are you? How are you going? Where are you going? He remembered the father.
He said, don't lie. Oh, I can't tell him that I'm going to steal. He said, oh, sorry, guys.
I just forgot something at home. I need to go and get it very quickly. He went back.
The other day he went out to go and be somewhere else. Where are you going? He couldn't lie. He stopped every other bad habit the day he stopped lying.
That's why liars are the foundation to the cowardly, to all of them. You stop lying, you'll stop killing, you'll stop by selling, you stop sniffing, you'll stop everything. And some have put it this way.
They said that the baptism of Satan is lies. He's got a baptism of lies. Why Satan baptizes you with lies? Because he is the father of all lies.
Christ baptizes you with the truth. He is the father of truth. He is the father of truth.
All of these will end up in the lake of fire and brimstone. And that is the second death. The second death is when the spirit separates from God.
And God bless you. Case closed for now. We thank the Lord always.
Just leave everything in the Lord's capable hands. Whatever you're going through now, the struggles you're facing, the struggles you are living, the struggles you're going through, the challenges you're facing, the ups and downs in your life, marital issues, relational issues, social issues, spiritual issues, mental issues, whatever they are, just give them to the Lord and walk away. And trust the Lord has taken them all, has heard you, he knows you, he has given you what you've asked for his way, because there is no other way that is perfect as his.
But trust and walk away. Don't look back and say, he's delaying it. He's not coming.
He hasn't heard me. I'm not sure. How long do I seek another way? Do I wait or do I do it my way? Wait on the Lord, for he will never ever fail you.
Never. Wait on the Lord. Even if it's delayed, wait on the Lord, because it's perfect.
It's perfect the way he does it. Unlike him. His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
All glory to his holy and mighty name. The love of my life. And they're all capital letters.
L O V E. L for Lord, who came to give me light, to give me liberty. And with it, he gave me the second letter O for obligation. I have an obligation from the Lord, who is L for Lord, through his light and through the freedom and the liberty he gave me.
I have an obligation to carry this love to the world that is loveless. And when I take this love to a place where there is no love, I must engage in a battle. But this battle is based on love, not on hatred, not on bigotry, not on envy, not on jealousy, not on destruction.
It is based on love. And since I'm walking with the Lord and I'm engaged with the Lord in this battle, the end result 100% will be V for victory. When I'm victorious, it is then and then only I am rewarded because without victory, there is no reward.
And without victory, without battle, there is no victory. And without the Lord, the battle is lost. It is in him, I am victorious.
And it is by him, I am rewarded. And the reward is E for eternal life. It is the Lord who gives me eternal life based on love by being servant of his, carrying this love as an obligation to the world that lacks love and be triumphant in him victorious.
For he is the alpha, the first and the last. He is the beginning and the end. He is the alpha and the omega.
His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who is all L-O-V-E, love. Love, my beloved. God bless you.
Let's stand for the finale prayer. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, one God, Amen. Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. Where there is sadness, joy.
Oh divine master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand. To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned. It is in dying that we are born again to eternal life.
Amen. May the Lord Jesus bless you, guide you, and protect you all the days of your life now and forevermore. Amen.
Go in peace. The peace of Christ be with you always, our beloved. God bless.
