Jesus Saved Him

Before, when I was distant from the Lord, I loved going clubbing. I loved going downtown, brother. I loved driving 120ks in a 60 zone with the biggest subwoofer, Habibi, in the backseat going what a what a dove dove.

And Sharbel is not here today. I enjoyed it. I loved the white powder.

I loved gambling. I loved drinking. I loved all the gazelles and all the rainbow colors.

When I went to church, rarely I couldn't stay in the church for five minutes. I suffocated. But every time I went to the club and Star City Casino, oxygen came back.

I was revived. I found myself. Now you're talking, brother.

What church? When the Lord touched my heart, he came to establish a kingdom. And I don't know. I wasn't intending to talk this way.

But it looks like the Holy Spirit wants me. Yes, yes, yes. Maybe he wants you to hear this.

When the Lord came to establish his kingdom to do what? One thing when through his kingdom, he had the opportunity to come now and touch you and change you, bring you close to him. When he brought you, he touched your heart. You started re evaluating things, reassessing things.

You started looking at things in a different perspective altogether. The next time you wanted to go to the club, you suffocated. And every time you went to church, you were alive.

Once again, the cycle changed. Why? Because I'm no longer conformed. I am transformed by the renew of my mind through the word of God that renewed me.

And seeing the multitudes, he went up on a mountain. This was all about the mountain. When you look at the top of the mountain, what does that do to you? It allows you for the first time to see heaven.

When you look at the top of the mountain, automatically beyond the top is heaven. So why did the Lord go on the mountain on the top of the mountain when he saw the multitudes? Because he's saying, I came to change your way of thinking. I came so that you are no longer conformed to the world, but rather transformed.

I came to renew your mind because I am the word and the word is God who came to change you because the world gave you a word, but that was a lie. I came to give you the truth and the truth shall set you free. I am the word.

I am the word that will change your way of thinking, that will change your behavior, that will change your way of living. And thus I came to take you from the pit and lift you up to the top of the mountain. I came to take you out of the pig's field into the kingdom of God who art in heaven.

And when you look at heaven on a clear sunny day, when you look at heaven, what do you see? Nothing. But you see clarity, you see purity, you see tranquility, you see peace. And the moment you look down at earth, you see fighting, you see breaking, stealing, killing, filthiness, dirtiness, ugliness, evilness, chaos, noise pollution.

Heaven is quiet. Heaven is silent. Heaven is pure.

You don't see anything. Why? Because God says, I came to give you a new heart, a new mind, to allow you to see no one but me. Because in heaven, there is only one.

When you ask me, teach us on how to pray, I said, every time you pray, you say, our father who art in heaven. Because this is the whole idea, that you worship me and me alone, let you have no other God beside me. I am the only true living God.

So when you look to heaven, I want you to see nothing, no one but God. This is the idea. So now when I bring you back to earth, and I put you in the midst of thousands and millions of people, I don't want you to see none of them bishop.

I want you to see me. Have you learned your lesson? Bishop, you know why? Because when you see me and me alone, I Jesus Christ of Nazareth, then neither the good words people say to you will give you a big head balloon, false pride, nor the nasty words that are like a knife in your heart that will give you a big valley, losing hope. In other words, you will not be influenced anymore, neither with the good words, nor with the nasty words.

Because you are not here for people, you're here for your God. This is the way every Christian should live. You're here for God.

So people are nice to you, God bless them. People are nasty to you, God bless them. None of my business.

It's totally irrelevant. I'm not here to serve people, I'm here to serve my Lord and the people whom he chose and purchased with his own precious blood. So he came to lift me up from that pit and onto the top of the mountain to teach me about heaven.

That's why he brought down the kingdom of heaven. To teach us earthly beings what heaven is all about. How heaven thinks, how heaven functions, and what heaven wants to have.

And when he was seated, his disciples came to him, when he was seated. You know, when we read the Holy Bible, we need to remind ourselves by the grace of the Lord, the author of this book is the Holy Spirit, who is God. So God is talking.

And when God is talking, the source of wisdom is talking. Therefore, every word mentioned by the Holy Spirit, there is a meaning for it. Why would the Holy Spirit go into trouble and say, and Jesus sat? And when he was seated, he went up on the mountain and he spoke to the multitudes.

End of story. Why would he go into details and say he sat? To tell us one thing. Now, are you paying attention? Or are you falling asleep? If you're falling asleep, no fish burger for you.

In the Nicene Creed, in 325 AD, the Nicene Senate, written by 318 church fathers at a universal level, the Nicene Creed, we say, and he ascended and sat down at the right hand of the Father. Why the church fathers put that he went up and sat at the right hand of the Father? Because when you sit, that is telling me and you one thing, now you are focused. See, if I'm standing, I am easily distracted by the surrounding.

When I'm standing, this guy comes, I turn, this guy goes, I look, this guy yells, I turn around, I'm standing, I'm going, I'm coming, and I'm not standing still. I'm kind of active. But when you sit, you're sitting to focus.

When you come to eat, you sit. Especially when it is habib albi tabbouleh, and the good old Italian lasagna and pizza, and you put all these beautiful things in front of you at the table, you're not going to be standing and say, oh, I'll have a snack of this and a bit of this. No, no, you'll sit because you want to be focused.

What you're eating and how you're eating, in which way you're eating. When you sit, you're focused.
