Answer God's Call (2)

The Lord is going to have to break me to make me. He's going to have to make me realize who I am in the truth. And in the truth, I am nothing.

Nothing. Gone with the wind before a blink of an eye. I'm nothing.

Don't ever think you can do whatever you want. Don't ever think you'll live here forever. Don't ever think you are unstoppable.

Don't ever think that. Humble yourself and let God fill you with His living water. Wisdom.

His word is wisdom. So when did the Holy Spirit descend? When the Lamb of God went up and sat at the right hand of the Father? I'll have to say this and I'll stop. In the middle of its street, in the middle of the marketplace, there was what? There was what? The tree of life.

On either side of the river was the tree of life. In the middle of its street or the marketplace and on either side of the river was the tree of life which bore twelve fruits. I'll leave you with this.

Jerusalem, heavenly Jerusalem, that everyone is called to enter heavenly Jerusalem. Now, does it have a marketplace, Jerusalem? Well, if you go to Israel, there is a marketplace in Jerusalem. But I'm talking spiritually.

Does it have a marketplace? 100% yes. What is the center of the marketplace? What is in the middle of the marketplace? The center of Jerusalem's marketplace is Golgotha, Calvary, where the cross is. This is the center of the marketplace.

Now, what is the Lord doing in the center of the marketplace? And why did the Bible call it marketplace? In those days, at the time of the Lord, money like we use now and these credit cards and all these beautiful cards, they were not available, right? So now you swipe a card and then you pay for it. Before, it was very simple way of exchange. A marketplace was a place to exchange things.

Example, someone grows wheat. He's got plenty of wheat, but he doesn't have meat. So what is he going to do? He's going to take some of his wheat to the marketplace, and someone else who's got plenty of meat is going to come there who is in need of wheat.

So the one who needs wheat is going to take the wheat and give the meat. And vice versa. Someone needs fruit, someone needs veggies.

They used to exchange with products. I'll give you wheat, I'll take your veggies. I'll give you veggies, I'll take your meat.

I'll give you meat, I'll take your fruit. So, what was the marketplace? A place of exchanging things. What is the Lord doing in the marketplace? He's nailed on the cross, and he's crying out to all of us.

Everyone. Not just the Christians. Every human being, Jesus is calling them out.

Jesus is God. He's not only for the Christians. He's for everyone.

So, in that marketplace, he is exchanging. Where do I see this? Revelation 3.20. In the book of Revelation 3.20, the Lord is saying, I am standing at the door, and I'm knocking. He who hears my voice and opens the door, I will come and dine with him and he with me.

I will come and have dinner with him and he with me. Now imagine, you guys have invited me for dinner at your place. If I go to your place for that dinner, I'm not going to come and say to you guys, I came to eat dinner with you and you with me.

You invited me, I didn't invite you. But why is the Lord saying, I'll enter and I'll eat dinner with him and he with me. But if I'm invited, I'm going to eat dinner with you, not with me.

Only on one condition, you'll eat with me. I'll knock at the door, and you open the door, and I've got a big dish of food with me. I say, yo bro, I came loaded brother.

I'm going to have dinner with you, and you're going to have dinner with me brother. That's the only way. So now the Lord is coming with a dish, and I'm inviting him for a dish.

But guess what? The Lord said, I'm knocking at the door, if you hear my voice and open, I'll come and have dinner. In a way it's sad, but it's also beautiful. Why did the Lord say dinner? Why didn't the Lord say breakfast or lunch? Because breakfast and lunch are served in the day time.

The only time you serve dinner is in the night time. The night biblically refers to sin. The daylight represents holiness.

Jesus says, when I come to you, no one is holy, you are all sinners. That's why I'm going to have dinner at night, darkness, sin. But I'm willing to come while you are the greatest sinner of all.

I came for you. So Jesus entered, and I invited him. And I had a big plate of my own food.

And there was little tiny plates in that big one. One plate called jealousy, one plate called hatred, one plate called false glory, one plate called anger and envy, and all the ugliness. This is my dish.

Jesus, eat of my dish. We're exchanging food. Now Jesus puts his plate, and he says, I've got plenty of plates here.

One is holiness. The other one is peace. The other one is love.

The other one is kindness. The other one is meekness. The other one is forgiveness.

The other one is greatness. The other one is glory. The other one is the son of God.

The other one is eternal life. The other one is beauty. The other one is light.

The other one is Christ like. I'm going to give you all this. Are you willing to exchange in the marketplace with me? The Lord is waiting on the cross to swap you your dish with his dish.

He who opens the door, hears and opens the door, I will come, and I will eat dinner with him, and he will eat dinner with me. I'll eat your plate, and you will eat my plate. Give me your sin, I give you my holiness.

Give me your death, I give you my life. Give me your darkness, I give you my light. Give me your ugliness, I give you my beauty.

Are you willing to swap? Are you willing to exchange? You know what we do? We go to the Lord and say, Lord, I'm not here to swap plates and dishes. I'm here to swap me with you, and you with me. Lord, take me all, and give me all of you.

But I am here to swap you with me. Not my hatred, I'm giving you my whole being. Give me your whole being, Jesus Christ.

He is willing, if you are willing. He is willing. A piece of advice, to finish it off.

In everything you do for the Lord, it is the love and the intention in that thing that matters to the Lord. It is not the quantity, it's the quality. Sunday morning, I'm about to leave home to come to church.

And I urge you guys to come to church on Sundays. But I'm going to church because I want my nagging mom to get off my case. Because she keeps on nagging, Go to church, go to church, go to church, go to church.

So I'm going to go to church so I can make her quiet. Jesus is standing very upset. He's waiting for you at home, He's waiting for you at the church at the same time.

So when He sees you leaving in this kind of intention, you're doing it out of obligation, you're doing it out of just to get people of your case. Jesus is waiting here, very upset. You walk, He doesn't have a place in your heart.

You walk in, you walk out, nothing changed in you. But if you come with the intention and the heart, saying, Lord, I'm coming for your eyes only, baby. For your cute eyes.

I'm coming for your cheeks, Jesus, because I want to pinch them, brother. I miss you, brother. I miss you.

You are the love of my life, and I miss you so much. I was crazy all week long. I couldn't wait till the moment comes to be in your presence in Eden again.

So I'm going to church. I don't care about this guy called Marmari. Yeah, he thinks he's something.

Just get off my case, man. I don't care about who is doing the mess. I don't care who is in the church.

I don't care who walks in, who walks out, who is sitting next to me, who is beside me, who is in front of me, who is behind me, who is up on the altar, who is at the back. I don't care with all love and respect, because all I care about, I'm coming to meet my love. Hey, you girls, when you fall in love, with this Assyrian guy with a big nose, you know, don't you go crazy.

You were together for five hours. You go home, and the moment you close the door, oh, I miss him so much. It feels like I haven't seen him for 500 years.

You were just with him. Love makes you go crazy. And then, you're going and coming.

Mom is saying, come and eat. No, mom, I'm not hungry. You haven't eaten anything.

Mom, I'm not hungry. I'm watching the mobile phone. I want to receive a message from my sweetheart.

And when it goes, zzz, zzz, you know, whoa, and it is Ahmed. Habibi, I love you. I miss you.

And then you start typing a million words a second, zzz, and then you send it to him. And then, oh, I feel good now. I heard from my sweetheart.

Jesus is exactly like that, but much greater. He is your sweetheart. He is the groom to the bride.

He wants to hear from his bride. He waits to hear from his people. When you come to church, come for his sake.

Don't come for nobody's sake. Nobody else's, but his. And I can assure you, I'll guarantee, I will put my life on the line on this.

When you come with this intention, you will find him. Or actually, sorry, I'll correct that. He will find you.

Because you cannot find him, but he can. He will find you. When you seek him, he will find you.

Ladies and gentlemen, young men and women, fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, my beloved friends, Jesus is the only reason for this season. And without Jesus Christ, everything is meaningless. Everything comes to a full end, a stop, and a full halt, and comes to an end.

We need the Lord in our life more than ever. Our time and age is very difficult. 21st century, extremely difficult times.

The world is becoming more atheistic as we go along. So many countries that they were built on Christian values and ethics, now they are atheists. A lot of European countries are atheists now.

They were all Christians. Australia became a secular government. They used to start the parliament with the Our Father prayer.

Now, if you say the Our Father prayer in the parliament, they will stone you to death. This is Australia. America is drifting away from Christ.

It was embedded in Christ so strongly. Now, they become an atheist, where they want to ban Bible teachings, even in some states. Canada, gone with the wind.

Secular government. They don't want to know anything about Christ. And the moment you talk about Jesus Christ, you are a discriminative person, you are a judgmental person, you are an enemy.

Why? Satan, my beloved. Satan. Satan fights Jesus only.

He doesn't fight Muhammad. He doesn't fight Buddha. He doesn't fight Krishna.

He doesn't fight nobody. He fights Jesus. You know why? Because the only one that crushed his head is Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
