A 750 BC Prophecy That Changed History

There is a prophecy that says, therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. What is the sign? Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name Immanuel. Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign.

Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name Immanuel. Well, that is the prophecy meaning the word of God given to Isaiah around 750 BC. 750 BC.

Now, those who were faithful of the Israelite nation. This is Old Testament. Those people who were faithful that belong to the church of Christ in the Old Testament, the Israelite nation which is the twelve tribes of Israel that became the church of Christ of the Old Testament, the Israelite nation.

Every couple that were faithful, they prayed and asked God to choose them and grant them this precious gift, a girl where she becomes the virgin that fulfills the prophecy of Isaiah 7.14. Every couple's desire was for them to have a girl and to be the virgin that will fulfill Isaiah's prophecy 7.14. A time went by and centuries went by from the time of this prophecy. This couple came in the holy land called Joachim and Ann who later on became the parents of Mary, our holy mother. Joachim and Ann.

Now, when we read in the biography, we see that they were of an old age. Medically speaking, clinically speaking, they cannot have a child. They have passed that stage well beyond it.

But they kept on praying and kept on asking the Lord God, Yahweh, God of Israel, the true living God of Israel, please God, give us a child in our old age. Just like you gave Abraham, he was 100 years old and his wife Sarah 90. They received the son of the promise, the promised son Isaac.

Yet he was 100 Abraham and Sarah was 90. He said, but we haven't reached that age. Nothing is impossible to you God.

What is impossible to men is possible to God. So one day, they were of old age. The Lord God sent an angel to Joachim and also sent him to Ann.

Now, Ann's name before was Dina. Dina. But who called her Ann? The angel.

He said, because the mercy of God has been bestowed upon you, Dina. God is compassionate toward you. Since he showed compassion toward you, you will be called Ann.

And in the Hebrew language or Aramaic Syriac, the language I speak, Channa or Channa. Channa means the compassion of God. So the angel said, your name will no longer be Dina, but Ann or the mercy or the compassion of God.

She bears the child. The child is born and it's a baby girl. And she was called Mariam in the original language.

It's not Mary, it is Mariam. Now Mariam in the original language derives from the word Mura. Mura in Hebrew Aramaic is a substance when you cut it.

It's a shrub, sorry. It's a shrub. When you cut it and you taste that piece of wood, it is bitter than bitterness.

But when you put that piece of wood on fire and you burn it, it brings out a fragrance. It puts Chanel and Versace to shame. It puts them all to shame when you burn it.

So the word Mariam was given to this baby. That means all her life will be nothing but bitterness. I.e. she will go through tribulations, persecutions, hardships, trials, you name it.

She will never find rest all her entire life. Her life will be one bitter life. But the more the enemy burns Mary, the more Mary releases the fragrance of her beloved son, who is God revealed in the flesh.

Her fragrance will fill the whole world. Now the parents of Mary, Joachim and Anne, promised God that if you give us this child, we will offer her back as a sacrifice, as a token of appreciation. Thank you God that you didn't leave us barren, but you gave us a fruit.

And what a fruit she is. She is the chosen one by the Almighty God that God himself will be conceived in her womb and put on the human nature and become man like us in the end of times. As Saint Paul refers to that in his epistles to the Galatians chapter 4. So they raised Mary till the age of 3. And when she became 3, they took her to the temple of King Solomon.

And they offered her to the temple as a sacrifice. She lived 10 years in the temple until she was 13 years of age. And at that age, she had to leave the temple.

Reason being, she reached her maturity as a woman. She can't remain in the temple anymore. When she came out of the temple, her parents had both moved on, passed away.

Because they were already old. However, during those 10 years which the Holy Mother spent in the temple, God gave Joachim and Anne another girl and they named her Mary. And you'll see that in the New Testament.

Mary, the sister of the Holy Mother Mary mentioned. Especially in the Gospel according to Saint John chapter 19 verse 25. I'm actually gonna take it out and I'll read it out to you just in case you may say, the bishop is making up stories.

I'm not. So we go to John chapter 19 verse 25. And we see the following.

And even though I'm old, but my memory is still ticking, baby. I'm right, you see. Sometimes it's good to memorize biblical verses.

Alright. So in John 19 verse 25 it says, Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister. What was her name? Mary, the wife of Clopas.

So Mary had a sister. Where do we get this from? The biography of the Holy Mother. The Holy Bible proves the biography.

So God gave Anne and Joachim another girl. And they called her Mary because they said we gave the first Mary to God. We're gonna name her Mary so she can remind us of the first Mary.

Anyway, when the Holy Mother comes out at the age of 13, both parents had passed away. And being a single girl virgin, over 2,000 years ago, in a culture so male-driven. Middle East.

Until now, there are certain countries in the Middle East, it is a male-driven culture, period. Women don't have the right to speak before men. So Middle Eastern culture is a very difficult one.

Now, let alone, over 2,000 years ago, in a Jewish community in the Middle East, a culture that is controlled by men, this young girl, how is she gonna come out and live on her own? They will shred her to pieces. But God, who chose her from the beginning, from before the foundations of this world were established, when He chose her, He had planned everything for her. So He chose our father Joseph, the just.

A distant relative. A distant relative of the Holy Mother. They said to him, the priest and the high priest of the temple called this righteous just man of God.

And they said, look, this girl has no parents, has no relatives, has nobody except you. You are the only closest relative to her. You must take her to be your lawful wedded wife later on.

Now, our father Joseph, he had planned not to get married. But he could not break the request of the high priest and the priest of the temple. Being a God-fearing person, he could not break the word of the priest.

Because there is also the word of God that says, you will receive the law of God from the mouth of the priest. So he took it as if it was God telling Joseph to do that. No choice, he took Mary.

Now, let me tell you this. Sometimes you may have seen these movies done about the Holy Mother, the nativity, the birth of the Messiah. They have depicted Joseph as being a young man trying to be in love with this young girl called Mary.

If I see the director, I'll say to him, listen mate, next time before you do anything as such, come and ask this good-looking bishop to tell you how to do it right. Let me tell you, our father Joseph, he would qualify quite easily to be Mary's grandfather, not even her father. He was an old man.

He would qualify easily to be her grandpa. So he took her on himself, a righteous man. They got engaged, betrothed in the Israelite culture.

In the Israelite culture, betrothal or engagement was a 12-month period. During that engagement, Engagement, what it did, it allowed Joseph and Mary to be together in front of people. By law, they're engaged, so she can go out and come in with him without being stoned or ridiculed by people of her town, of her society.

So it allowed them to be together legally. However, engagement is not marriage, full marriage. It's half marriage.

So it was a 12-month period, during which the man had to go and prepare a house, a place for his future wife. While Joseph was preparing this place for the Holy Mother, after 12 months to be fully married to her, the Archangel Gabriel came and greeted the Holy Mother and said to her, You are the chosen one. You will conceive in you the Son of the Most High.

The Holy of Holies will dwell in you, and He will be called Jesus. She conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and remained virgin. Prior to conception, virgin.

After conception, virgin. After birth, virgin. Forever, virgin.

Ezekiel 44, 1-2. Read and see what that eastern door, which God entered and nobody else entered it, and it was shut forever. Who is that door? Ezekiel 700 BC.

Ezekiel is prophesying the door being Mary. The door of her womb. God entered it.

No one else entered it. It was shut forever according to God's prophecy. Mary is virgin forever.

Biblically speaking. Not what I think. Biblically speaking.

Now, the Son of God, the second person of the Holy Trinity, the second person, the Son of God, who is God, was conceived in her womb the moment the Archangel Gabriel greeted the Holy Mother. He took on Himself, the Son of God, He took on Himself, the human nature, and became man. And I don't know, I don't think we're going to have the time now.

Because I'm really trying to get into it as we go. Listen, my beloved. Jesus Christ took on Himself the human nature.

He is the only one that is born of a woman. He does not have an earthly father. He only has an earthly mother.

In the entire human race, I'm not talking about Christians. I'm talking about the whole humanity. In the entire human race, there has never been one, neither will ever be anyone that is born into this world with only one earthly parent.

It is impossible. Only Jesus did it. Only Jesus, out of the entire human race, is born of an earthly mother without an earthly father.

For His father is the one who art in heaven. Now, this alone raises a humongous question mark that every human being needs to seek. Who is this Jesus? Why is He the only human that is born of an earthly mother only without an earthly father? It's impossible.

But Jesus did it. Who does the impossible? God. Only God does the impossible.

And that's why He is God. And no one else is but Him.
