Let us turn to Matthew chapter 17. Matthew 17. Let's read a few verses. Here the Lord Jesus gave his disciples Peter, James and John a wonderful vision He took them up the mountain a high mountain He said, come alone, come apart And there on the mountain suddenly they saw the face of the Lord begin to shine as the sun And his raiment was white as light My dear people We are deceiving ourselves We say bhakti, bhakti, bhakti But no righteousness Here, when you see the sun of righteousness We see the Lord Jesus Christ Without sin He did no sin He knew no sin So, he could be the only sacrifice for your sin and my sin My dear friends In all our scriptures In all our history books Can you find one person who is sinless? How sad! No, dear friends When Jesus Christ took three disciples to the top of the mountain And there they saw how Jesus will appear when they see him in heaven Because in heaven There is no sun or moon Jesus is the sun of heaven Now When these disciples were wondering at what they saw Moses and Elijah Those wonderful prophets Who went ahead Before Jesus Those wonderful prophets Those who walked very close to Jesus They came and were speaking with Jesus They came and were speaking with Jesus No, this was, this instance Or incident Was to strengthen Jesus for the coming cross Then they heard a voice from heaven This is my beloved son In whom I am well pleased Hear you him This is my beloved son In whom I am well pleased My dear friends This son of righteousness is revealed In order to produce Holiness in our lives So that you will be a beloved son A beloved daughter When they heard this great voice What happened? They fell upon their faces And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face And were so afraid That's it You know my dear friends Religion is a little fun Just go there Sing some songs Or do some bhajan And go out and smoke As soon as the service is over You know what our brother John used to say One of the first men who was converted in this district Say over 50 years ago When my father and mother worked in this district It is immediately after the service He would take the elders of the church And go to the drink shop And drink Can you believe this? A leader of a church Immediately after finishing the worship Going straight to the toddy shop or the drink shop No fear of God My dear friends You know that they will not be cured from taking hands But when you take them to the Lord Jesus What happens? One BDO said to me I did not even pass 7th standard I told lies to the government And became a BDO But My own son is being ruined because of my sin He is running away from the college He is stealing money in the house Yes, I said to him You are bringing ill-gotten money into the house You have got this job by telling lies Confess it to the government He confessed it And the director said to him I do not know what to do with you So take leave He took leave After the leave was over, he went back Extend your leave Finally the director said We will not put you in prison But I will put you down a lower rank I said to this man You pass metric Privately study and pass metric And then you know what happened? They promoted him to a higher job than BDO His life was full of unrighteousness And his unrighteousness was destroying his family But my dear friend Almost all his children are serving the Lord today What a wonderful transformation Here, these disciples fell on their faces And seventh verse, please Jesus came and touched them and said, arise Be not afraid And when they had lifted up their eyes They saw no man but Jesus They saw no man but Jesus My dear friends Unfortunately people look at us on the platform I say to people What is the good of looking at us? I am but an imperfect man I am seeking perfection Because my master says Be you perfect like your heavenly father is perfect Because my master says Be you perfect like your heavenly father is perfect But what do we see? Unfortunately Religious leaders and preachers They want to show themselves What is there to see in a man? Some years ago When I was a young man I had some good hair But now You can see how much beautiful hair I have What is there to see in a man? Nothing in a man But what did these people see? When they looked for Elijah He was not there They looked for Moses He was not there So what did they see? They saw no man but Jesus You know what the Bible says? If you turn to Isaiah chapter 45 And verse 42 Isaiah 45 and verse 22 Look unto me And be you saved From all the ends of the earth Look unto me All you ends of the earth And be you saved For I am God And there is none else My dear friends Declare this throughout India Declare this throughout China Declare this throughout Burma Look unto me and be you saved Now are we doing this? Are we looking at Jesus? Are we looking at Jesus? Are we seeing no man but Jesus? My dear friends When you go to the Lord Jesus He wipes away your tears No one can wipe away every tear No doctor can say No doctor can you say He healeth all my diseases My own doctor A very experienced man He was sitting in his house He fell forward And died He had a massive heart attack And he used to carefully examine me One day he said You need an X-ray So I took an X-ray Your back You have got arthritis I said to him Doctor You say I have arthritis He said yes You have arthritis What did I do? I am a travelling man I travel in one year Perhaps like going 3-4 times around the earth Well What can I do? I asked the Lord What happened to that arthritis? Disappeared He healeth all our diseases He forgiveth all our transgressions What a saviour My dear friends What a saviour They saw no man but Jesus Who is there to look at? You want to look at a cinema star? Look at that same cinema star 10 years, 20 years from now Look at that same cinema star These cinema stars are poor They put so much paint on their faces They have all kinds of special operations to make them look young Or they go away to other women The children are lost And they die miserable deaths And many of these famous cinema stars are dying of AIDS today AIDS Bringing AIDS into the family, to the children You know, we work close to Burma We have got centres Very close to Burma And also in Burma In that area Many AIDS patients And where can they go? Look unto me and be saved All you ends of the earth Yes, we can look unto Jesus The greatest disease is the disease of sin Out of that sinful heart You get every other discomfort and disorder For 10 minutes I would have become useless If my wife started fighting for 10 minutes Because I am not a man to fight with people And how can you fight with a wife? My dear friends No 47 years I have been married 47 years We have never had a fight What is there to fight about? She never asked me Give me this, give me that You are not giving me any jewel You never gave me this, you never gave me that If my wife had started fighting with me That would have been the end of me But We have had peace Love Never any suspicion Never blaming one another My dear people Look unto me and be saved Don't think I am a very good man No, no, no I have looked unto him and I have been saved Last of all Let me bring you to Revelation 1 7th verse Behold, he cometh Behold, he cometh With clouds Every eye shall see him And they also which pierced him And all kindreds of the earth Shall wail because of him Even so, Amen Every eye shall see him Today You are looking at so many things I am saying to you Look to Jesus They saw no man but Jesus Only Jesus can build your house That is clear Only Jesus can give you a new heart And clean hands Put away every stolen thing Put away every stolen thing Every eye shall see him And they also which pierced him And all the nations kindreds Shall wail because of him Wail because of him What will they say? Why did we not believe this wonderful savior? Why did we not look unto him and be and were not saved? Why did I waste my life? Why did I live in uncleanness?
