Firstly, the book of Psalms, the book of Psalms, Psalms 87, Psalms 87. There are seven verses in that psalm, we will read all of them. I just want us to look at, to consider, commune very briefly together, what makes the church glorious.
What makes the church glorious, as we are gathered here from various denominations. I want you to know that the Lord being in our midst, is saying good things concerning us. I just want us to, as we prepare to get into the new year, to just commune together, what makes the church glorious.
What will make you, as a member of the church, glorious and victorious. So let me read this psalm from verse 1 to 7. I may be considering this short exhortation, considering it in maybe two versions of the Bible. The King James Version, and then at a point, maybe for more clarity, we may be looking at the Message Version of the Bible as well.
But I take it first in King James, verse 1. His foundation is in the holy mountains. The Lord loveth the gates of Zion, more than all the dwellings of Jacob. Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God, Selah.
I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me. Behold, Phileas and Ty with Ethiopia, this man was born. This man was born there.
And of Zion it shall be said, this and that man was born in her. And the highest himself shall establish her. The Lord shall count when he writeth of the people that this man was born there, Selah.
As where the singers and the players on the instrument shall be there. All my springs are in thee. Amen.
I say we look at this psalm very briefly in the exhortation of our hearts. And I trust that the Lord will also by it as we consider it briefly. Prepare our hearts and prepare all of us.
As we listen to what he will be bringing to us. As instructions for the new year that he is gloriously bringing us into. I wanted us just to note that some meditated upon these psalms.
And began to see the glory of the church. Say glorious things are spoken of thee. O city of God.
I just began to rejoice in the fact. And begin to consider what makes the church. What makes the city of God.
What makes Zion. What makes the church glorious. His foundations is in the holy mountains.
The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling of Jacob. God brought this psalm. Which if you see the heading.
He say is the songs of the sons of Korah. The songs the rejoicing of the sons of Korah. As they sang unto the Lord.
And began to express glorious things. That are spoken of the church. Are spoken of Zion.
Of God. And very quickly. I began to note.
That what makes the church. Is the foundations. But he say his foundations.
Is in the holy mountains. Zion. The foundation of the city of God.
The foundation of Jerusalem. The foundation of the church. We all know.
That when we talk of Zion. When we talk of Jerusalem. The new Jerusalem.
When we talk of the city of God. When we talk of the dwelling place of the most high. In our own time.
We understand that. And we see the glorious things about the church. It's going to be.
It's going to be. It's going to be unveiling his mind to us. Just because of one thing.
The fact that we his people. He has called us. He has brought us to himself this night.
He has gathered us as the church, the body of Christ. Unto him. As we glorify the Lord.
For bringing us. I want us to note. I want us to keep in mind.
I want us to rejoice in this one thing. That God. Has.
Funded the church. And that begins to be. The first thing as we noted in this psalm.
That makes the church glorious. He has his foundations. Is in the holy mountains.
His foundation. Is. Is.
The church, the body of Christ. The city of God. Is funded.
In the holy mountains. It is where. Nothing can shake it.
It is where. Whatever happens. Cannot erode.
The foundation of the church. The establishment of the church. I saw God saying.
His foundations. Is in the holy mountains. His foundations.
Is in the holy mountains. You know that. Every building.
In the church. Can stand. And stand unshaken.
It depends on the foundation. The foundation defines. The strength.
Of any structure. Of any building. And let's note.
That the reason we will ever experience. The victories of the Lord. The reason.
We will break through every situation. And the reason of. The fact that the church will ever prevail.
It stands principally. On one reason. He founded the church.
In the holy mountains. It is the foundation. Of the church.
And I want us to note. That right from the word go. As the Lord laid the foundation.
Of the church. It declares it. That nothing will prevail against it.
Matthew chapter 16. As we look at the foundations. Of the city of God.
The foundation of the church. The foundation of Zion. Right as the Lord laid it.
In Matthew chapter 16. There is a declaration. Let's just look at Matthew 16.
Verse 18. Thank you very much. And I say unto thee.
That thou art Peter. And upon this rock. I will build my church.
And a guest of her. Shall not prevail against it. And I say unto thee.
Thou art Peter. And upon this rock. I will do what? I will build my church.
And that a guest of her. Shall not prevail against it. Right from the word go.
The foundation of the church. Is upon the rock. The bible say.
He established. The foundations of Zion. Is upon the mountains.
The foundation of the church. Is upon the rock. And.
God laid the foundation. Deliberately. Because he understood the terrains.
Where he is building the church. Where he is establishing the church. He knows that he is establishing it.
Very very fast. Very very just against the guest of her. But he said.
I am laying the foundation. And this foundation. Is upon the rock.
Upon the mountains. Let me announce. As we go on.
Things are happening left and right. And it is almost directly. Against the church.
Whatever the devil is doing. Whether politically. Whether economically.
In every sphere of life. The target of the devil is against the church. But let's note tonight.
As we go on. As we look forward to what God. Is going to say to us.
As we look forward to where God is taking us. Let's note. Let your heart not fear.
The church shall not be shaken. The reason is clear. Where it is founded.
And as I thought about it. And as the Lord brought this to my heart. Yesterday and in my own quiet time.
And I was rejoicing. I was rejoicing against the fact. That things don't look well.
Things don't look pleasant. We are grappling with several things. The Lord brought us into this year.
There have been several things we struggled with. Our brethren have been kidnapped. Not just one person.
Our brethren have gone through terrible. Sicknesses. We have grappled with one thing or the other.
But look yesterday. As the Lord woke me with this psalm. I just rejoiced in one thing.
That whatever happens. We are the foundations of the church is laid. Nothing shall shake it.
Nothing shall shake it. The Lord will prevail. He said, look.
I say unto thee. I wish you will hear the Lord declaring that unto you. As a person.
I wish you will agree with the Lord. He said, look. I say unto you.
That there at Peter. I wish you will put your name there. Because this address was very specific.
He was addressing. A Peter. I say, I wish you will put your name there.
That I see you. I say unto thee. There at.
And upon this rock. I will build my church. And a gaze of hair shall not prevail against it.
I heard that message. Personally. Yesterday.
In my own quiet time. I chose to believe God. I saw that.
Because the Lord knew the terrain of the church. The terrain where is. Building the church.
Building the body of Christ. That's the wisdom. Why the foundation had to be on the rock.
I know that. You know, if you are laying the foundation for a building. In this, in this terrain.
In Benway State. You cannot. Use the same materials.
As when you are laying the foundation for a building. In River State. Will not use the same.
The same materials. The same quantity of cement. Quantity of stones.
I saw buildings. In those terrains. I saw that.
Foundations alone. Will build. Upstairs here.
If you want to. For example, construct a road. In that kind of terrain.
One kilometer of road. Perhaps in those places. Will construct up to ten kilometers of road.
Here. I want you to rest in your heart. The situation we are going through.
The Lord knew it. And he laid the foundation of the church. According to what we are seeing today.
Upon the rock. As we take that rock. And we therefore see.
What God is saying to us. I weep that each and every one of us. We stand in faith.
We stand in hope. We stand in great expectation. That what we are seeing.
The church will not be cracked. We will go through it. And amazed triumphantly.
In the name of Jesus Christ. And upon this rock. I will build my church.
And the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. God was very very deliberately. Careful.
About the foundation of the church. When he said this rock. Many of us here must begin to understand.
That it is not Peter he is talking about. The Bible is very clear. To tell us the foundation of the church.
Is not Peter. Is not Peter. As certain quotas believe.
But first Corinthians chapter 3. At verse 11 I suppose. Tells us very quickly. That rock.
That foundation. For other foundation can no man lay. Than.
That is laid. And what is the foundation? Which is Jesus Christ. The foundation of the church.
Is who? Joseph. Joseph. Joseph.
We are not going to be having time. To look at the consistency of Christ. To look at the power of Christ.
To look at the. The ornament of Christ. That beauty nor him.
You will never be shaken. I will not have time. To look at that particularly.
But I wish God. Would trust it in your heart. That that foundation was laid.
Not on an angel. Not on man's ideas. Not even your concentration.
Not even on whatever. Whatever even hopes. Not on man's riches.
Not on any position of any man. Of your uncle. Of any relationship.
Never. God laid the foundation of the church. On him.
That he deliberately chose. I just wanted us to note. That that is the foundation.
When he said he founded Zion. In the mountains. I wanted you to know.
That the glory of the church. Is his foundation. The Lord Jesus Christ.
For. Your other foundation can no man lay. Than that which is laid.
I want you to know this. No man. Can lay any other foundation.
If you are here. And you are believing in something else. And your trust is in something else.
And your chance is for something else. And you are having something else to define your life. You are very very unfortunate.
But tonight. I saw that Psalm. Psalm being developed.
And what God is saying. I believe that will happen to you. As an individual in the name of Jesus Christ.
As he takes us into this new year. Let me perhaps read just one more. Scripture.
Concerning the foundation. And then we may just look at the implication. And begin to pray together.
Our time. Going as it is going. Ephesians chapter 2. Ephesians 2.20. And I build upon the foundation of the apostles.
And the prophets. Jesus Christ himself. Being the chief cornerstone.
In whom all the building. Fitly framed together. Groweth unto an holy temple.
In the Lord. I am just looking at the fact. Of the foundation of the church.
What makes the church glorious. What makes the church unshakable. What makes the church.
That whatever the gifts of heaven does. Whatever the gifts of heaven struggle. They can never never prevail against it.
And all that God is bringing to us. Is dependent upon this foundation. All the experience that you will have of God.
All the strength that you will receive from the Lord. All the standing and the prevailing. Against any situation.
I want you to note. That depends on this foundation. I wish you will not shift your light.
Unto any other foundation. Unto any other thing. Because.
This foundation is solid. It's a rock. Is in the mountains.
And nothing can shake it. Verse 20. And I build.
I want you to note. That God helping you. That's where your life also will be built.
And I build upon the foundation. Of the apostles and the prophets. Jesus Christ himself.
Being the chief cornerstone. I don't want you to mistake. And think that the Bible is talking of.
The foundation being the apostles and the prophets. No. To an extent that.
Let me note. That when it talks of the chief cornerstone. Say.
Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. When you talk of the chief cornerstone. A little study showed me.
That in the ancient foundations. The chief cornerstone. Was.
The first. Stone. Of a foundation.
Which all measurements. Was taken from. A reference point.
It was a stone still in the foundation. But in the corner of it. Was.
Where. Every measurement on that foundation. On that building.
Was taken from a reference point. Every measurement was. Every other stone.
Was placed in relationship to that cornerstone. And that cornerstone. The Bible say is Christ.
The positions. Of the apostles. The positions of the prophets.
The position of anyone who serves. In the body of Christ. The position of every one of us.
That is in the Lord in the church. In this building. Is only as in relationship.
To the cornerstone. That is Christ. So that position.
Of a cornerstone. We are all reference. All measurements.
Take their orientation from it. Is the Lord Jesus Christ. Every direction of our life.
Every position of our life. Everything about our life. If it is going to be situated properly.
And framed together. It takes its reference. From the cornerstone.
That is Christ. So the Bible says. That.
Even the apostles. Are built upon that foundation. And every one of us.
Knowing therefore. That the mountains that God talk about. The rock that God talks about.
Is Christ. And that as we come today again. On to him.
On to the Lord. And because of what Christ has done for us. The fact that.
That the terrain of our situation. The position. Sorry.
When we arrive at a time. In this country. In this state.
When we arrive. At a condition in our families. Our individual lives.
That the gifts of heaven. Will rise as if it is going to finish us. But when it comes.
And whatever shaking. And whatever it does. It will find out.
That the foundation does not even allow a crack. Are you getting me? In the structure. Of what God is intending to do.
With the church. We are going to prepare. In the name of the Lord.
It is not because of us. It is not because of any intelligence. It is not because of any support.
It is because of the foundation. We are upon each and every one of us. Is laid.
The implication of this. God knew. That the gifts of heaven will get more desperate.
As the time is passing. Because of the foundation. Whatever the gifts of heaven we do.
It will not prevail against us. Jesus Christ. As I am saying again and again.
That laid the foundation. Of the church. Not with the apostles.
Not with anything else. Our brother Paul kept saying. No any other foundation can any man lay.
Except that which is laid already. Jesus Christ. He laid that foundation.
He saw that. To be that foundation. And you know something about the foundation.
It is laid. It is laid on the ground. It is laid on the ground.
You know that the Lord Jesus laid the foundation. It became necessary that he would be slain. It became necessary that he would be buried.
He laid the foundation. Let me tell you. This is the mystery.
Of our victory. Once he laid that foundation. There was nothing.
The devil could do. There was nothing. Anybody else could do.
There was nothing. That could be accepted. Again.
Accepted by God. Because of what any man does or does not do. We will soon be seeing.
That. That is a mystery. And.
I think. Chapter 3 we read. That we are just reading now.
I just wanted us to see. As efficient develop this thought. In chapter 3. Let me read verse 8. 9. And 10.
As we look at what this means. A mystery. Of the Lord being a foundation.
Having been slain. Having been buried. And now resurrected.
Verse 8. Why I am less than the list of all the saints. Is this grace given. That I should preach among the Gentiles.
The unsearchable riches of Christ. And to make all men see. What is the fellowship of the mystery.
Which from the beginning of the world. Have been healed in God. Who created all things by Jesus Christ.
Verse 10. To the intent that now. And on to the principalities and powers.
In heavenly places. Might be known by the church. The manifold wisdom of God.
Amen. Very soon the Lord will be leading us into this year. And in the close of the year.
As we get in. Close to the year. The Lord began to announce.
Something very glorious to us. As we sat through the MLA. We came for the preparation for MLA.
And sat through the MLA. The Lord began to talk about. The greater task.
And as I sat back. I saw that the foundation for the greater task. Has been laid.
As the Lord came to my heart. And began to talk of the glory of the church. And began to say basically.
Basically. Is the foundation that he has laid. That however glorious.
Glorious. The building. However glorious a structure is.
Oh it is the foundation. And I began to rejoice at the fact that. That foundation nothing can shake it.
That there won't be a crack in the structure of the church. Because of that foundation. We are going to emerge intact in the name of Jesus Christ.
But what is he doing this? Why is he saying this? As he began to announce the greater task. I saw I began to experience. Began to sense.
The wisdom of God. Of all that he is doing with us. Doing with us as the body of Christ.
And let me say. Let me announce brethren. That soon and soon enough.
Soon and soon. God has an intention for the body of Christ. And the reason.
You see. During the MLA you saw that God. Began to talk about the cross.
All of us that were here. Began to talk. About.
What the cross the glory of the cross. The mystery of the cross. And the ministry of the cross.
I think most of us were here. The Lord began to say this to us. Let me tell you.
The intention of the Lord is that now. Are we together? I say now not tomorrow. To the intended now.
On to the principalities and powers. In heavenly places. That all of us might be known.
By the church. The manifold wisdom of God. God is going to manifest his wisdom.
The intention of his wisdom. All these years. While he has prepared us.
While he has brought us very steadily. In all the trainings. In all the experience of him.
In all the investment in our lives. The manifold wisdom of God. Shall be made known.
And I noted that the Lord say. To the intent that now. Not tomorrow.
The year that God is taking us into. Will be. To use the church.
To manifest. His manifold wisdom. I want you to believe it.
I want you to agree with it. And if that be so. Let me turn to you.
As an individual. And begin to announce. I want us to begin to say.
What does psalm 87. Was causing us to understand. Can we go back to psalm 87.
I have been looking at verse 1. But I look at verse 2 now. Psalm 87. Verse 2. So when you begin to announce.
That the Lord loveth the gates of Zion. More than all the dwelling place of Jacob. I say ah.
Because of what God wants to do. With us now. Because of what God wants to begin to manifest now.
And it will be in the midst of conflicts. The gates of hell will not stop. But one of the wisdoms of the Lord.
Is that. As the gate of hell ascends. As it rises in all its hope.
Like the waves of the sea. As it comes to the foundation. To the church.
It will be as if it is swallowing up. But as the waves come to the shore. And just breaks.
So shall all the rising. Of the. Of the gates of hell.
With all the force. You will hear as it is coming on the high sea. The kind of sound and the kind of force.
But as I stand by the sea. It comes and it just breaks. Into almost nothing.
The gates of hell will rise. But as it comes to the shore of the church. It will break down.
In the name of Jesus Christ. So I hear the Lord saying. The Lord loving the gates of Zion.
More than all the dwelling place of Jacob. Do you know why? Do you know that implication upon your life? The gates of Zion. If you come to any gate.
Before you assess. Any estate. Before you assess.
Before you assess any nation. Before you assess anything. Where do you pass through? The gates.
Because of what God. Has situated in the church. Because of the glory.
That God has put in the church. Because of what God is looking. What God is going to do with the church.
Let me tell you the Bible says. God in expectation. That you will never be left behind.
God says looking at the gates. Because the gate is the place. Where all nations will pass through.
To the church. All lives. The gates of the church.
I hear the Lord say. I love that place. More than any place.
Because I sit in an expectation. Looking at. Counting everybody that will agree.
To enter the gates of the church. And come into that glory. Today.
This night the gates are open. Are you with me? Let me tell you. Even the father.
He said I love the gates more than any place. My eyes are on the gate. Someone will leave the world today.
And enter the gates of the city of God. Someone will find the gates of heaven. Because of what God wants to do with the church.
Whatever be your experience. Let me tell you. The Lord.
Who loves the gates of Jerusalem. More than any other place. Because the gates gives you admittance.
Admits you. Into the glorious estate of the Lord. And he is there watching.
He loves the gates. The gates will admit you there tonight. In the name of Jesus Christ.
And I see. That the Lord loves the gates of Zion. More than all the dwellings of Jacob.
The gates. Admit you. If we trace the gates of Zion.
The door into Zion. I don't have time to trace that one. Also.
The gates of Zion. The door of Zion. Is the Lord Jesus Christ as well.
The Lord loves the gates. Of Jerusalem. But.
Verse 3 says. Glorious things are spoken of thee. O city of God.
My time is going at which we have space. To look at that. But let me tell you.
Glorious things are spoken of thee. Glorious things. Are spoken of the church.
As the spoken of the city of God. Glorious things. Are spoken of the church.
I want us to note that. Perhaps not so known to us. I'm just praying that our eyes will not be blinded.
To the glory of the church. Or what God wants to do with our lives. To do with the church of Christ.
I want you to know that the church will not be broken. I want you to know that. The revival we are talking about.
The glorious things that God is speaking concerning the church. Will arrive to us. It will come.
Do you hear me? It will come. But. You know when I think of the glorious things.
That is spoken about the church. I begin to think. Of what God.
The greatest that for me I think. That suits my life. There are quite many.
We can sit down and begin to list. And to study the glorious things that God. Is pronouncing concerning the church.
But with our lives. As we are seated here. Many of us have heard.
Of what God says he will do unto us. Greater task. Greater task what we will be for the Lord.
And what we will do for the Lord. The revival that God is talking about. That.
Will come to us. But you know. When I think of the victory of life.
That God gives. By the gospel. Nothing for me.
Is so glorious. The victory of life. You know brother Paul was making a statement.
Somewhere. In first Corinthians chapter 9. And verse 23. He said he is doing.
He has done so many things. For one reason. First Corinthians 9. Verse 23.
They are on. They are on stake. I say.
He said and this I do. For the gospel sake. That I may be a partaker.
Thereof with you. This I do for the gospel sake. There were many things he has said earlier.
That he is doing. For the gospel sake. We heard that Ephesians was saying look.
God is calling us to preach this. To make the mystery known. To bring.
To bring to light. To bring to experience. What God wants to do with the church.
And do with each life. And I saw that he said. And this I do for the gospel sake.
That I may be a partaker. Thereof with you. I was wondering.
I was wondering. The man just want to. Share.
In the benefits. In what the gospel can do. He gave up many things.
He did many things we can't study them. But when he concluded. That's why he was doing what he is doing.
I began to consider. That the greatest thing. That glorious thing that he said.
That you can experience. In the law. Is the victory of life.
That is in the gospel. And I'm praying that you will. Embrace the gates of Zion.
That God loves more than anywhere. You will pass through the gate. And get into that victory of life.
As we are noting in the name of Jesus Christ. Can somebody read Romans 15. And verse 13 for me.
If you are following me. It was talking of abounding. In joy and in peace.
Now the God of hope. Filled you with all joy and peace. In believing.
That he may abound in hope. Through the power of the Holy Ghost. I want to be a partaker of the gospel.
And I'm seeing this. As what the gospel upholds. That God will fill you.
With all joy and peace. In believing in. That he may abound in hope.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit. I'm talking of the victory of life. Situations in the country.
Situations in families. Situations around us. One would have thought that it would rob us of joy and peace.
But let me tell you. What is found. In Zion.
What is found in the mystery. In what this foundation has afforded for us. God said in whatever situation.
When we abound. When we increase. In joy and peace.
In believing. Sir, that can be yours. Maybe some of us are seated here.
You are torn here and there in pieces. Because of situations. Let me tell you one thing.
That excites me when I think of the gospel. It's not because one has money. Or one does not have money.
It's not because situations are not binding on you. No. But that in all situations.
I think Philippians chapter 4. Paul began to say in all situations. By the power of the gospel. I have learned how to abound.
Whether in much. Whether in poverty. Whether in riches.
I have arrived at that point. When I think of the victory of life. Not because you have.
Not because you are in wealth. Not because you are. But that the gospel can rise and take you above all that.
And that you will have joy and peace. In whatever situation. I saw brethren captured by armed robbers.
And those brethren are preaching to armed robbers. They are not praying for them to die. And fall down and die.
They are saying I want you to be saved. Let me ask you. If kidnappers carry you now.
And put you in the forest. I want to tell you that many times. When I'm sleeping I pray that God will not.
Will hold kidnappers away from me. But as I begin to hear the testimonies of brethren. They have captured many.
Caught many. But there is a constant testimony. That we were preaching to them.
We were witnessing to them. We were praying that God will touch their lives. Let me tell you.
For me. It is one of the greatest assets. Of the gospel.
Not because you have or you don't have. But that you can have such an experience in life. If you are depending on wealth.
I'm telling you. You are the most miserable person. Because you know money is a very bad.
The Bible says. It can develop wings and fly. Isn't it? If your life is dependent.
On circumstances. Your life is most unstable. Because the situation can change.
By the victory of life. And that's what God is assuring each and every one of us. The victory of life.
God. Doesn't mean God will not give us material things he will. But for me as I'm telling you.
That's what I estimate to be the greatest. One of the greatest. Assets.
Of the gospel. I pray for it. That my life will ever be stable.
And all depends on ethnic circumstances. And the gospel can take us there. I want us to know that the glory of Zion.
Even as we are saying all this. Is you. I'm talking of the glory of Zion.
Let's go back to that. That Psalm. And then conclude to see.
That the glory of Zion is you. As God is saying all this. And praying that each and every one of us.
Will begin to. Practically enter on to that glory. As the Lord is speaking to us.
In the name of Jesus. And I will be saying. The glory of Zion is you.
But how? How? Psalm 87. If you have message turn to it. Let me read it.
In King James as we saw. The emphasis. I will make mention of Rahab.
And Babylon to them that know me. Behold, Felicia and Ty. Were Ethiopian.
This man was born there. And of Zion it shall be said. This and that man was born in her.
And the highest himself. Shall establish her. And the Lord shall count.
When he write up of the people. That this man was born there. I want you to see.
The repetition. Of a phrase. The glory of Zion.
Even as God is speaking. About the glory of Zion. I wanted you to note.
That the glory of Zion is you. But how? He said I will make mention of Rahab. I will make mention of Babylon.
To them that know me. I will make mention of nations. I will talk of nations.
I will make mention of nations. I will make mention of nations. I will make mention of Rahab and all nations.
As he was saying. I will let you know. That the greatest is that this man was born there.
And of Zion it shall be said. This man shall be born in her. The Lord shall count.
When he write up of the people. But this man was born there. The question of who is born.
In Zion. So I said. Very quickly let's turn to message.
So that we may understand it better. And then pray. Sorry we are going fast against time.
Say. I named them of those among whom I am famous. Egypt and Babylon and Philip.
Along with Kush. Words are getting around. They point them out.
This man was born again here. The words getting out of Zion. Men and women.
Right and left. Get born again in her. God registered their names.
In his book. This one, this one and this one. Born again right here.
The glory of the church is you. But how do you get in there? It is not those who are. Just in Zion.
It is not strangers, it is those that are born there, those that are born again there. And as we conclude, because we can't take much time again, the greatest that is of the people that are in Zion is those that are born again there. Which means you could be seated here and you can be a member of the church and you can say you are in Jerusalem, but if you are not born again here, as you are seated, let me tell you, the register of God, the Bible says God registers their names in his book.
He registers this one, he registers this one, he registers this one, and it is those that are born again right here. Do you know that as you are seated here to be a meaningful member of Zion, you must be born again? And that there is a register, each and every one of us seated here. If you are born again, God's own register names them in his book.
And if you are born again, you are born of God. It is not those who just are joined in Zion. It is not just who visits Zion.
It's not those who just pass through Zion. It is those that are citizens of Zion, those that are born again there. Let me ask you, are you born again? But the Bible says God can register your name now.
It says this one, this one, and this one, born again right here. Tonight, I want you to go through the gates of Zion. And as you do that, because the eyes of the Lord is there, you will be born again right here and God will register your name.
And if you are to be born again, what will be the sign? Bible says those who receive him, he gave them power to become children of God. Born again right in Zion. And to be a child of God is he that takes the image, the gene of God.
It gives birth to you from above. And the only one sign, if we read 1 John 3 from verse 5, 8, 9, 10, you will note that the only one sign that you will note that will make God to register you is when you have received power to become a child of God and to bear his identity, to bear his genes. And that those who are born of God, they do not commit sin.
You experience victory over sin because you are a child of God and that is his nature. Let me tell you, this can happen to you here tonight. But if you are not born of God, not born again, and you are living in sin, you are stealing, you are telling lies, you are doing everything else in the church, but you are not victory of life, not victory over sin.
Let me tell you, you are not a member of Zion, the true church. That's what we are reading in this psalm. But tonight, as the Lord watches the gate that you will come in, he loves that point more in any life that comes in.
You will stand up today because we are about to go to the new year and God will begin to declare the glory of the church, the glory of Zion. You will be part of it. If you will be right now, you say, God, I must be born again right here so that I'm not cheated out of whatever you are going to do to us, to the church this year.
I'm not cheated out. I don't want to go to hell. I don't want to be mingling with the church.
And then, my name is not in the register. As you close your eyes as we pray, noting that God has declared great things concerning the church, glorious things, and they can be yours, each and every one of us. But, if you are not born of God, you have not received, you have not experienced power from him to become his child, you are not registered in that book, in his register.
Tonight, you are saying, look, I don't want anything to blind my eyes. I don't want church to blind my eyes. I want to enter this year into the glory that God is talking about.
Let's pray. Let's talk to the Lord.
