We read a scripture from 2 Kings 2. He was an uncle for a prayer this morning for the family and the several challenges that plague has plagued our nation. 2 Kings 2, we will read from verse 19 to 22.

2 Kings 2, verse 19 to 22. Our Father, this morning again we have come, you have sat with us. And as we continue now to seek your face, we ask that the Spirit of God will guide us and help us, that we indeed ascend the throne and receive grace to help in time of need.

In Jesus' name we have prayed. I read 2 Kings 2, 19 to 22. And the man of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my Lord seeth, but the water is not, and the ground barren.

And he said, Bring me a new cruz, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him. And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the Lord, I have healed these waters, they shall not be from thence any more dirt or barren land.

So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha, which he spake. You know, the family, as we have been seeing since we came to this meeting, as the Word of God has been coming, is mirroring the situation of the family to us. Our marriages, and how things have been going.

And as our brother has come out this morning again in the Divinna Church, illustrating variously what the situation is, we can agree that even as we are sitting here this morning, representing various families as couples, as wives, as husbands, as fathers, as mothers, it is good that marriage is going on in our communities, in the church, and in the nation at large. We keep giving out daughters, our sons keep marrying, as we have done. We attend weddings, we dance, we give gifts, and it continues on and on.

There's never a moment that goes and passes without marriages being contracted. Beautiful people are being married, and as yesterday the man of God was bringing the Word of God, we saw that men and women, though they have wealth, they have riches, the glamour is there in marriages, but there's rottenness. And it's not just out there among the heathen, we know that even right inside the church, as our brother is saying this morning, the truth is that there's so much rottenness, there's so much pollution.

There's no regard, the kind of love that flows through marriages and family, has no regard at all for the purpose of God, as we have been studying. The love that flows through marriages, through homes, has no respect for the purpose of God. And we are seeing that as the same situation we saw in the land, where we are reading about this morning.

He said, you can see that the situation of this city is pleasant. Marriage is regarded to be pleasant. When somebody is going into it, he's going with excitement.

He's going to settle down excited, but when it happens, we discover that we enter into a situation whereby there is barrenness, whereby there's no fruitfulness, whereby the purpose of God is not achieved, and whereby there's no more enjoyment. You know, we have a critical example on this camp, we have our water here, it's hard water. When we are very thirsty, you just drink it, because you have no choice when the good water is not available.

You know that you don't enjoy water that is salty. And I imagine that in this land, the Bible says, it was like there was only one well that was supplying water through the whole city. There was nowhere you turned, you could get clean, I mean, good water.

So it is, that all across ages, some of us who have been married for several years, some who are in the middle age, some who are just coming in, this situation is not pleasant. And that's why an older person will say, don't marry, don't, don't, don't. You know, yesterday our brother was talking about giving a teaching in the church when he was just some weeks in marriage, and somebody challenged him, even though not audibly, but he saw it.

Wait until you are 10 years. You know, sometimes older couples, you know, they speak nasty things to younger couples. They don't, just wait, just wait.

You will see, as if it has become a normal thing, that it will always end in bitterness, in barrenness, in fruitlessness. But we are noting that this man came to the man of God. They believe that this man of God has a solution to our problem.

All of us are gathered to this couple's retreat, because I know we believe that coming here, we will receive solution to our problems. Is that not so? We believe that coming here, we will encounter God. We will hit something that will change our situation.

And these men believe that this man of God has solution to their problem. So they came, and they laid their complaint. The man of God didn't keep quiet.

He said, okay, go, bring me a new cruise. Put salt there in, and they brought it to him. Now, what would that mean to us? Several things can be derived from this.

Number one, it has to be a new cruise. It has to be a new vessel. It has to be one that is not polluted, is not contaminated.

And I'm just getting an understanding that a marriage in our families, you know, there's a saying that the heart of the matter is what is the heart. So I'm just thinking that for us, this new cruise is first of all your heart. It's first of all my heart.

My heart has to be clean. Your heart has to be new. You know, we are praying, Lord, let me see Jesus.

It is only when Jesus has filled a heart that the heart becomes clean, that the heart becomes new, that the heart becomes fresh. And so when there's a prayer we need to pray this morning, first of all for our hearts as we are seated here as families, as couples representing different families, that we need to experience a freshness in our own lives. And we noted that it's not just an empty bowl, but that salt should be put in that bowl.

And you know, when we read Scripture, salt represents several things. Jesus said, you are the salt of the earth. Talk about salt representing grace, grace and wisdom.

We are going to be praying that, Lord, fill my heart with your grace. Fill my heart with your wisdom. The kind of grace, the kind of wisdom I need to have in my heart, that I can become salt, that when it is cast into marriage, that marriage will be healed.

And we noted that the man of God, when they brought the bowl and the salt, he now said, the Bible said he went forth unto the spring of the waters and cast the salt in there and said, Thus saith the Lord, I have healed these waters. They shall not be from henceforth any more death or barren land. The source, the source of life, the kind of life that flows through marriages, flows through homes, that we are crying about, that there's pollution, there's deadness, there's barrenness, that kind of life, the source of it is in the heart.

Go to our churches where the person is preaching heresy about marriage and is preaching off the Word of God. The point is that his own heart is polluted. There's no grace in his heart.

There's no wisdom in his heart. He lacks the salt that Jesus says, You are the salt of the earth. The salt that could have brought healing, that could have preserved the purpose of God, is lacking.

So we are going to pray this morning. First for our lives. We are going to pray for the family generally.

We are needing salt. Salt is lacking. Grace is lacking.

Wisdom is lacking. And so no matter the penance that is being done outside, it doesn't amount to anything. That's the reason why you can rise today and fall tomorrow.

That's the reason why you can be doing work today and in the evening, in the morning, in the evening, you have become rotten. So we are noting that when this happened in this scripture, the Bible says in verse 22, So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha, which he spoke. We are going to pray this morning.

We are going to call on God and ask the Lord to cast salt into the marriage institution, into the family of the earth, into your family first and foremost, the family of the community, the family of the church, and the family of the nation. And looking at our nation, Nigeria, it's the same thing. Nigeria is well situated.

Nigeria is full of natural resources. Nigeria is full of human beings, intelligent people. Nigeria is well favored.

I mean, favored by God. But we are so backward. Imagine the trouble we are going through.

A few individuals who have stood and as though there was no man to speak, as though there was no man to lead. We have all been dragged to the mud. We are going to cry to God for a divine intervention.

If salt was cast at the source in the world that provided water for the whole city and there was healing, do we have faith that Nigeria will be healed? If the Lord rises up and begins to recoup new cruises, new vessels, inside which He begins to cast His grace, His wisdom, don't you think Nigeria will be healed? Nigeria will rise. Nigeria will rise and take its rightful position. The position that God has placed Nigeria to be.

It's a place God has created and arranged for Nigeria to assume. But Nigeria is far from that place. We have many, many prophecies.

Through the ages. On what God has planned to do with this nation. But we are far from it yet.

We are going to call on God, Lord, we need a divine intervention in our nation. So while we pray for our lives, we are asking God, cast salt in my life. Cast salt in my life.

Heal my own life. Heal my own marriage. Let me experience grace and wisdom that brings sweetness, that brings fruitfulness, that brings the purpose of God to be achieved.

It is possible, if it were not, God wouldn't have gathered us here. And then secondly, we are going to pray for the family generally, that with God all things are possible. If this land experiences barrenness, dryness, death for so long, and yet it just took one moment, and healing came, restoration came, then let there be healing and restoration in the family.

And in the same vein, we are going to call on God for Nigeria, all the challenges facing us. The rottenness, the pollution, the corruption, the wickedness, the evil in high quarters, in low quarters, let the Lord cast, let the Lord, you know, raise, re-crop new cruces, inside which He will cast His own grace, His own wisdom, His whole life. And there shall be a new Nigeria emerging out of this rottenness in the name of Jesus.

Can we rise up as we pray together? If you are able to rise up, we are going to be calling on God. We need a divine intervention. We need Him to arise.

We have availed ourselves for coming. We have brought our lives as cruces. Let Him walk upon our lives.

Can you say, present your life to the Lord and say, Lord, I present my vessel. I present my vessel this morning as a cruce, as a new cruce. Cast your salt.

Put your salt in my life. Put your salt in my life and that with my life you can cause healing. To begin to come into even my own home first, that my own home will bring experience, healing, will experience restoration, will experience freshness, will experience newness.

Can you open your mouth and begin to call on God? Yes, Lord, this morning there is hope. There is hope. This situation cannot continue like this.

If the situation did not continue in the land, in that land, those people had hope that if they call on the man of God, and they found solution. Lord, this morning, yes, this morning we know having come here, there must be solution. We must not go back the same.

We must not go back lamenting any longer. Oh, Lord, we present our lives. I present my life, God.

You are well situated in my life. My life has been well situated. My marriage has been well situated.

My family has been well situated. Lord, the purpose for which you situated it, it must come to pass. It must come to pass.

The sound of God that you declare that I am well situated, May I be that salt, oh God, that preserves that preserves from rottenness. May my life not lack salt. That my marriage, my home will be preserved.

May my life not cause rottenness. In my family, in my home. Salt.

Salt is illustrative of grace. And the Bible says the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared unto all men. Teaching us that denying all ungodliness, we should live soberly, righteously, in this present world.

It is possible to live a life that produces salt in this present evil world. Salt. That my life will be salted.

With grace, with wisdom. Salt. The Bible says have salt in yourselves.

Oh Lord God, that my life will be salted. That my life will be salted. Salt.

That my life will be salted. That there won't be any decay in my own life. And I will not cause decay in my family.

Salt. That my life will be salted. That there won't be any decay in my own life.

And I will not cause decay in my own family. Salt. That a wise woman builds her own home, will you ask God for salt? The salt that represents wisdom.

To fill your vessel. Salt. In Jesus name we pray.

How we present ourselves as a new cruise to the Lord. That with us carrying salt and cast into the family, even our community, in our workplaces, whether in government, in the church, anywhere we are thrown. That by the fact that we are carrying salt in our vessels, we are cast into those places.

They will begin to experience healing. They will begin to experience restoration. They will begin to experience sweetness.

Can you present yourself, Lord, use me as a new cruise. Inside which you put salt and cast. Cast into families, into lives.

To bring about restoration. To bring about healing. To bring about preservation.

Oh, Lord, I present my vessel. That by my life, even by my own home, other families will receive healing. We know restoration.

We know preservation. I will not contribute to any rottenness. I will not contribute to any rottenness anywhere.

In any family. In any community. In the church of God.

Oh, Lord, heal the family. Restore the family. Oh, we need your divine intervention.

In the family situation. Oh, Lord, arise. Intervene.

As you intervene in this situation. Arise, oh, Lord. And intervene in the family situation of the nation.

In the name of Jesus. It has to be your divine intervention. It was your divine intervention, oh, God, that that well was healed.

Let your mighty hand go to work. Let your mighty hand set at work. Go to work, oh, God.

Begin to move. Begin to move, oh, God. In lives, in homes, in families.

Let there be a searing up in the hearts of husbands. In the hearts of wives. In the hearts of couples.

In the hearts of homes, oh, God. That the families will begin. We begin to experience a divine intervention.

Begin to experience a move. A real move of God. Unusual things will begin to happen.

Positive things will begin to happen. You begin to wonder what's happening to us. And it should be because the spirit of God is moving.

In Jesus' name, we are prayed. We want to call on God for our nation, Nigeria. We know that there are other nationals in this meeting.

But first and foremost, please join us as we call upon Nigeria. Nigeria is very crucial in God's purpose for the end time. But for now, the devil is fighting hard.

The devil is struggling seriously. As if the devil knows, as if he thinks he can, he can, he can rubbish God's purpose for this nation. But let's let the devil know he cannot.

Let's call on God to intervene in Nigeria. All of us have watched the period of election. We have seen all the manner of wicked things that were carried out, all the evils, all the atrocities, all the killings, every evil and wicked scheme of the evil man.

We saw it ourselves. Let's call on God. It is not yet finished.

It is not yet finished. Nebuchadnezzar was on the throne established for several years. But God came only for a moment and brought him down.

Whoever is on any seat in this nation that God has not raised and put there, let him bring them down. Let's ask the Lord to intervene in this nation. The evil plan of Satan to enslave Nigeria, it will not come to pass.

Nigeria will serve its purpose to be the one carrying the gospel into Africa and the entire world. Let the Lord intervene. Let the Lord intervene in our situation in Nigeria and deliver us from the bond woman, deliver us from the scheme of wicked evil men.

Nigeria is for the Lord. Nigeria is for you, oh God. The enemy has finished doing his own.

But Lord arise and let the enemies scatter. Anything you have not planted in this nation, we will uproot it in the name of Jesus. It shall not see the light of day.

Anything you have not established, it shall scatter. Lord, you say you will contend with those that contend with us and give us peace. Oh, Lord, arise and contend with those that contend with your peoples.

Arise, oh God, in Nigeria. Arise over this nation. In Jesus' name, we are prayed.

One more point for Nigeria. I want to ask God, you know the man of God asked for a new cruise. He said we are going to have a new cruise.

Let's ask God in his wisdom and power to begin to raise new cruises in this nation in the political arena, in the business world, in the educational world, in all the facets of this nation. The new cruise in whom he will put his wisdom, his grace, his life and be cast into this nation. The nation will be healed.

The nation will rise again. Just open your mouth shortly. Let's call on God.

Yes, Father. Lord, yes, Lord, this nation is needing new cruises. Inside we sought to be cast and thrown to cause healing, to cause restoration, to bring back the glory, yes, to bring the glory that you have set for this nation.

Lord, do it for your up. Mighty hand is able to perform that which is your purpose. You
